Good job on this one! The art style is really nice. Multiple angles for the enemies and some really cool animations. Something like a boss or sound effects could really spice this up even more!

wish this was longer great game

Nice one! Randomized attacks were good. it took me 48 secs, is that any good? :D

Really enjoyed the dice roll attack mechanic as it keeps you on your toes planning for what your next attack will be. Also loved the art style :)

Very fun!! but over too soon ; _; I managed to get my best time down to 21 seconds. Each weapon felt good, would love to see more added in the future!

The game have a nice lighting feel , and random attack is a interesting part,  but it changes too fast and the progress bar is at the right top, so it is very hard to figure out which weapon I am using.

I really think for 48 hours this came together really well.  Its neat to see the randomized weapon concept but overall I felt like in a full game it would get old pretty quickly.  The little six sided dice on the tile floors and 12 sided dice to light the way were amazing touches.  I was a particular fan of the poker chip mine - my favorite of the weapons you added.

Congrats on making something!

I liked the different attack mechanics! It would be interesting if there was a progression to your pool of randomized attacks throughout the game. Obviously this would be difficult to achieve in a 48 hour timeframe. Well done!

I really enjoyed the art style on this one. Gameplaywise I was really bored after a couple seconds already. Idea behind this is okay. 1/3/4

Stay crunchy.

I took some time to get used to UI but overall it was fun and enjoyable experience!
Great submission!

I REALLY liked the lighting and artstyle for this! It took me a bit in the beginning to figure out what was going on but when I did I had a lot of fun! I enjoyed the way you incorporated strategy with randomness and overall was a fun experience. The only thing I'd say is that it would be nice to have some audio to add to the experience, and especially possibly visual and sound feedback when the attack changes.

Do love some dice mageing x3

This was very fun! Once I realized the bar at the top shows which attack you currently have and the timer it got a lot easier to be strategic. I really liked all three attacks and the little dice enemies were really cute. I would have loved some SFX or background music to really set the ambiance, but I enjoyed this a lot nonetheless!

I Really liked hows the different attacks forced you to think differently about how to approach enemies, and I thought the art style was thematically on point. lots of small touches (like the shadows) really brought the game to life.

To improve the game I think a longer time between the attacks changing would allow me to know whats happening easier, and some UI of attack type closer or on the player would allow me to not share focus between the character and the corner of the screen.

Great job!

Things I loved:

  • That art style is just too darn cute
  • Having all of your attacks also be attacks used by the enemy dice is a nice symmetry
  • Random attacks is a good way of implementing the theme
  • Each attack that could be chosen had a unique feel and use, meaning the random die roll does make you change how you play - makes the mechanic impactful

Things I wasn't as fond of:

  • Without audio, it was hard to tell what weapon I was on at the time / when a weapon was switched. The UI design for your current weapon / switch is a good, the placement is just a little out of the way when you're focusing on the center of the screen for movement and tracking enemies.
    • A side-note, I think this contributes to the timer feeling "too fast". I think the timer is a good length, just ends up putting you in a position where you go "wait, I'm already at a new weapon???" since you can't keep an eye on the UI at all times.
  • Something was a little wonky about how movement is handled when you walk into an enemy. Not entirely sure what it is - could be how the game decides to cancel your momentum + the wacky orbits of the enemies.
  • Wish it was longer so I could play more with it!!!

Nice and unique looking art style! Some extra levels and maybe slower weapon timer would ... managed to not to die so .. :D 👍

if you have time feel free to check my game out(its my first jame)

There is a nice idea there, though due to randomness (and the fact, that weapons switch suuuper fast) it was hard to do something with intent. However, bomb felt very nice to use, so I was just avoiding everything and waiting for that sweet bomb roll :)

It really needs audio, though, but I think that you know that already.
