Awesome submission! loved the visuals and the sound, felt very smooth to play
Overall pretty good game, just need to implement checkpoints and its all set!
Fun game ! I'm a bit disappointed though because I died in level 3 while leveling up and not being able to do anything !
Smooth gameplay , fit theme with roll stat and actually fun!
Really awesome game concept! The presentation was fantastic! Amazing game!
Really cool and fun game! The enemies in the third area killed me very quickly even tho i was very powerful in the area before.
Nice game, really enjoyed it. It ramps up quite fast and my tactic of spamming fireballs worked out lol. The meta-progression might be a bit too powerful, but it helps beating the game fast. The art, music and effects are great as well, with a bit of polish and extra content, this could be a full game. Good Job.
I really enjoyed playing this. The only thing that I thought could be improved is if the enemies could aggro the player when attacked (or when nearby enemies are attacked). It made it too easy when I leveled my intelligence a lot and could take them out from range without them aggroing at all.
Great work!
The game is really great, man. I like that it's very replayable. I kept upgrading int and inheriting it. I was lost in how many runs I played.
A really nice dungeon crawler game, I really liked the idea of re-rolling your stats, but ended up being scared to reroll my +5 dices.
Congrats on completing the jam !
Really nice game! Somehow I forgot what the tab icon means and couldn’t figure out how to use the dice, maybe adding a text description (that the icon means the TAB key) would help? As soon as I realized how to use it, I buffed by INT and since you can kill enemies from a distance while they stand still I quickly became invincible :D The last level is pretty chaotic but still fun. Great art & music, loved them. A very nice entry overall, great job!
Simple, but fascinating. Few games on this jam have been able to captivate me as much as this one
Really nice gameplay and retro pixel art is way awesome.
Loved the mechanics and how the game plays.
Well done.
This was great, really enjoyed the level up system. The game is pretty easy if you go magic only though, since you can shoot enemies from outside their aggro range.
enjoyable top-down action rpg
Very polished, and very hard... I think it would have been cool if you would have been able to roll for each stat increase. I liked the "Roll-for-how-many-stats-you-keep" mechanic, very clever.
when i read the description i was worried you made a similar game to mine! I was surprised to find out that this wasn't the case. good job though.
Wow this was fun!! I loved leveling up, and the inheritance system made me want to keep playing more and more!
The game has great art and music, with nice touches of sound effects. The game's base is simple but the level system allows for some insane builds. There were a few issues with the randomly generated levels, with enemies and items in walls or enemies being next to you at spawn. The Heal orb is also very misleading, making a negative number and having a red color implies it's a dangerous orb. It's quite an amazing game!
Very great game with fantastic presentation. One thing that was incredibly confusing though was the green -2 on getting the health orbs. The "-" implied that it was a negative, and I was actively trying to avoid those orbs for quite a while until I realized what exactly they were. Really should have been a "+2"
