Absolutely perfect. I loved this game and played it for 20+ minutes. Banger idea, banger sounds, fun gameplay. You cooked perfectly. Michelin star and one of my favourite entries for sure

I'm impressed you were able to get this done in such a short amount of time! I liked that hovering over the cards would show the effect it would have on your resources, but sometimes it seemed like a set of cards wouldn't show anything at all. I didn't pay attention to which cards they were though, sorry. I see lots of people have already given you advice for taking this further. I definitely see a lot of potential with this. Great entry!

I managed to find the cause of the problem, but I am yet to find a permanent solution, a quick dirty method is after you play a turn move the mouse cursor out of the card and put it back on that should fix the issue. Thanks for the feedback I really appreciate it! And glad that you liked it!!

Pretty good game, especially for the level of simplicity! I liked how you combined turn-based card-game mechanics with the real-time freeze-increase. It was quite joyful to balance it, and it seems rather well-balanced... Except when I learned how powerful skip turn is, and turned out the best strategy is just clicking random card + clicking end turn if no card is clickable. I easily got to 240 day... I think it can be fixed by making a player loose if they get to 0 of energy or supplies? But then the game was a bit too hard.. Or can you penalize clicking cards that are unplayable? 

Also, interface-wise - that's great that you show the effects of the cards, but it would be better to show them as a transparent layer over the main bars, or extra bars nearby, or different shades of colours - just to let players see both current and after the effect is applied.

But overall a great submission!

Thanks for playing and glad you liked it! All the problems you mentioned are solved in newer versions, i added  the transparent bar and the spamming issue i found that the core problem was the time for freeze increase its too punishing so by spamming you get alot of resources in less time so less freeze gain and more resources,i fixed it by reducing the freeze active gain so the player isnt punished severly for playing slow but enough to encorage playing faster and added a +10 freeze at the end of the round so there is always a freeze gain even if you spam, sadly I can't send it  :( there is still more coming tho is just a prototype for the core mecanics of the game

Nice game! This is really good for your first ever jam! I had no problems with the gameplay too, it seems very well thought out. The only thing I'd say is maybe for the bars display which bar does what, I kept forgetting which bar was which haha

Liked the game, only thing is I went through two rounds and there was nothing preventing me from spamming the options just to keep my resources high and my freeze low. I got to 200+ days playing like this and it just made the core mechanics of the game unnecessary. I do like the designs of the cards and the meters though. With more measures to prevent something like this from happening, I think this would be a sick game as the sounds of the cards being picked and the man trying to survive with each round was really good too. Congrats on your game!

Thanks for the feedback! I was aware of the spamming issue before releasing since my brother used it and I somewhat reduced it but I guess it wasn't enough and it's by far the biggest problem of the game, thank you for playing my game and glad you enjoyed it!!

Nice game! I had fun controlling the different resources, though sometimes I just didnt get anything to reduce freeze and eventually ran out of resources. Would be nice to buff the chance of getting freeze reducing cards if your freeze meter is higher, just to make it less dependent on randomness. Besides that it was a nice experience and a great game, especially considering the time limit and your late start :D

Good work for your first jam, especially when its 3 days shorter! I thought the pop in effect of the drawn cards felt pretty good. Obviously you didn't have time, but I'd suggest doing something to ramp up the difficulty as the game goes on, maybe cards with harsher penalties, random events, or freeze grows faster. Nice job!

yes i really wanted to implement something like this but since this was a game jam i tried to focus on more important things like more cards and polish def gonna add what you mentioned if i am going to develop it more! glad you enjoyed it

I got around 20 days on the first try, on the second try I just started spamming the choices for as long as I could and then skip a turn, rinse and repeat. Got around 800 days xD

Really enjoyed the sound design and minimal graphics! The numbers on cards could have the color of the affected stats.

thats the strategy my brother uses haha, i tried to balance it and try as much as possible but the time was short, the colors on the cards is smart, my father suggested it but again the time lol and i found it was a lil useless because it shows you the values on the bar. glad you had fun!

Fun idea and great job! Sound effects work well, and I think the UI is the World works in the wild card here. 

I liked how the resource bars showed what the value would be after clicking but it would be good if the potential gain was colored slightly different. Like a lighter shade so it's clear that it's not what you have. I would get confused sometimes why I couldn't click the card only to remember it was because I didn't have the resources yet.

I was able to get pretty far. I don't think the freezing adds up quick enough though. It averages out the freezing is less than everything else and just clicking cards keeps you alive.

thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoyed, i am really confused on how you were able to reach 634 days tho lol my max was 150 i believe and all my friends struggled with it too.

as for the bars you are right i was trying to do that but my code is a lil messy so i wasnt able to include it.

and for the wild card i didnt buid the game around it but it matches i will see if i am able to add it.

I got that score by spam clicking lol. I like to imagine I am just super efficient at survival completing all my tasks in a fraction of a second.
