Short and straightforward and fits the theme well.  Could make for a decent puzzle game if you pad out the levels, though I don't really feel like there's anything about this I haven't seen before in other games.  Props for doing all the work yourself, though.  I know how hard that can be.

One thing that stopped me from giving it five stars for gameplay is that selecting the cubes was a bit hit-or-miss, having to wait for them to be selected.  I feel as though a bigger selection radius would help since all your cubes are far enough away from one another that there's no risk of selecting the wrong one.

Thanks for the feedback!

This is my first puzzle game, so I tried to keep it simple and still ended up cutting a lot of features due to lack of time.

I noticed the collision box of the cube was too small after submitting to the jam, I'll update it after the jam ends.

I like the idea, it's neat and different. I can see this as a prototype to something bigger, but for what it is right now, I find the art and theme rather bland and uninteresting. There is also some initial frustration with figuring out the mechanics (the 'how to play' was not very enlightening), which just when I started to "get it", the game is finished and I was like "Aw, I wanted to play more" which was a bit disappointing.

Developer

Thanks, the "how to play" was a last minute addition, originally I planned to have an interactive tutorial (the first two levels were a part of that), I'll update the game sometime in the future with better art and the features I had to cut due to time constraints.

Nice game! It is a little bit finicky to click the cubes correctly, sometimes when I click it doesn't work. I like that you can connect cubes with other cubes, but would love to have some more variety. Good job still!

Developer(+1)

Thanks, I noticed that the clickable area of the cube was too small after submitting the game.

I plan to expand the game after the jam.

Cool game! A bit of tutorialization during the levels would really help here. Good work!

Developer

Thanks, I wanted to add an interactive tutorial (the first two levels should have been part of it) but in the end I couldn't do it in time.

nice  game, interesting take on the theme ,

Developer

Thanks!

Overall good game. I think the art could be updated and add a little variety between the obstacles i.e. add a circle that acts as a disco ball, mirrors etc... Good job and thank you for sharing.

Developer

Thanks, I had a few other obstacles in mind, but I ran out of time.

I plan to rework and expand the game after the jam.

The levels seems for me to simple, art work not impressed me, maybe cause i am a artist. Other then that, game looks good. Good job.

Developer

Thanks, I underestimated the time it takes to actually build level for a puzzle game, so I could just put in a few simple one (the first couple should have been part of an interactive tutorial).

I'm not an artist myself, so modelling and texturing would have taken too much time for a jam. I plan to revamp the game after the voting phase ends.

Good puzzle! Took a bit to finally understand how the puzzle worked even after looking at the description of how to play. Even though the first couple of levels were simple it was easy to get through some of them by just clicking around and accidentally beating them so I think an interactive tutorial could be really helpful to start the game  off.

Developer

Thanks!

The first two level (and a couple more) were intended as a tutorial with on screen prompts, but I ran out of time and had to resort to a single how to page.

I plan to come back to the game and flesh it out after the jam.

Sad to say, but I didn't get at all how it works the first time, so I brute-forced it to the end. So, then I read tutorial and tried it again, and now, understanding it more, but still not completely:

  • First level doesn't really teach me anything, I just left-click and instantly win
  • Adding to the first point , it would be nice to see where each cube is pointing before  they're properly connected
  • I guess that the lines between cubes and walls can't cross, that needs some indication too
  • But then again, for the last level solution the lines are crossing, so maybe I'm wrong
  • Blue color changes to teal on connection, made me confused as I thought it was some color combination mechanic

Overall, it seems like simple but interesting idea, I just didn't fully understand it.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, this is my first puzzle game, so I had to rush in the end: I had planned to make an interactive tutorial, but I ran out of time and ended hastily writing a how to page.

The blue changing to teal was another rushed decision because dark blue was too dark.

I plan to revamp the game after the jam ends, I had fun working on it and there's a ton of thing I had no time to implement.

its a good puzzle game if u have time to finish it. my suggestion is that 4 direction below cube is the same so player can't know what is the right direction

Developer

Thanks, I actually plan to expand the game after the jam, there's a lot of things that I couldn't include due to time constraints.

Loved this! the puzzles where good, seemed to have many solutions and felt a little challenging. The idea was also super smart!

Developer

Thanks!

I think this could be a great game!! But I think it needs a little tutorial or more "step by step" levels, because sometimes I didn't know why I didn't finish the level, as everything seemed connected to me xD.

A lot of potential here! Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks, I planned to make a few introductory levels with interactive prompts to show the basic concepts of the game, but I had a few problem with time management and couldn't make them for the deadline.

I plan to expand the game after the jam.

cool game!

This defenitly needs more conetnt! There is much puzzle potential in the mechanics.

Nice Job!

Developer

Thanks, I feel like i needed at least another week to build enough levels for the game.

Submitted

I really enjoyed playing this. I want more levels :) Well done.

Developer

Thanks, I'll try to make more levels (and add some features I had to cut due to time constraints) after the jam ends.

Submitted

man i really like this game , only if there were more levels cause i really wanted to keep playing

Developer

Thanks, I really underestimated the time needed to build enough levels in a puzzle game, I plan to make an expanded version after the jam ends.

Submitted

It was cool, I really think if you focused this it could be a cool puzzle game or mobile game!

Developer(+1)

Thanks, it was my first puzzle game and so I wandered a fair bit during both the design and the implementation phases.

I plan to rework and expand it some time after the jam and make it mobile friendly.

Submitted

Interesting concept with a lot of potential, but far from being polished. It was a lot of just clicking and guessing at this point.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

This is my first puzzle game and I wildly underestimated the time needed to actually build the levels, in this state the game is a little more than a proof of concept.

I also intended to have a few tutorials level to teach the basic concepts of the game, but I had to scrap the idea and make a simple how to page cause I nearly ran out of time.

Submitted

i like the minimalism art style. but for game play, i get a problem that even after i finished the game, i still don't quite get what i was supposed to do

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for the feedback!

I could only manage to reach an early prototype stage due my inexperience with puzzle games and a bit of wasted time (I spent a few hours on a 3d model that I ultimately didn't use) so I couldn't add the tutorial level I intended to make to show the concepts of the game.

I think l will get back to the game some time after the voting phase ends, to flesh out the games how I initially pictured it.
