Glad you liked the game! I'll probably look into adding short control prompts throughout each level that a new mechanic is introduced. Cheers for the feedback!

This is insane! I can't really think of much to improve upon. If I had to nit pick, maybe some of the enemies could be made a little easier to see; sometimes I didn't realise they were there for a bit, but maybe that's just me. The mirror rotation also seemed a little too sensitive at times. Otherwise, I think this is a perfect submission! Great work!
Thanks! For level 10, I'll most likely be reworking it or placing it at a much higher level when I add in more inbetween levels 8-9. I would still like to experiment with some reflex-like levels, but maybe add in some slow-motion ability to accompany them. I'll also look into changing the reflective walls graphically to make them easier to see. Maybe brightening them up or adding some particles will do. Thanks so much for the feedback!
The graphics for this one are super neat! A few things I would look into altering: The enemy hitboxes are a little too large. I felt like I was getting attacked without even touching the enemies. Usually a slightly smaller hitbox that the sprite fits nicely, as its also a little more forgiving for the player. A shorter cooldown for the dash might also improve the games flow. Some meters to show the dash cooldown as well as gun heat would help the player as well, but I understand you probably ran out of time to add these for the jam submission. Otherwise, I enjoyed playing your game and can see its potential!
Nice and simple art style, I like it! I feel like the main mechanic could be or altered a bit, because it does feel a little too trial and error-y. It could also be explored further with a wider range of mechanic changes. Like for example maybe in one level the gravity changes or something. Otherwise, I enjoyed playing this one!
I really love the art style! The animations are also great, like the plants moving when I walk past them and the player landing particles, they're all nice touches. I feel like being able to snap the mirros to specific angles like 45 and 30 degree intervals would be a great addition, as lots of the time I found myself needing to make loops slightly adjusting the mirrors then testing the laser. Otherwise, had a lot of fun with this one!
Interesting mix of Breakout and Vampire Survivors, haha! I like this one. I'll echo what others have said about the XP staying between level changes. I also feel like the tank controls could be changed to something more intuative, like maybe experiment with normal WASD movement then the mouse can rotate the paddle? Not sure, the tank controls still fit pretty well though. Otherwise, had a great time playing this one!
Great work for your first itch.io game! I wasn't able to figure out the code unfortunately, but read the comments and now understand how the player can get to that answer. It might need to be altered a bit, because it would be difficult for the player to figure out that the smaller ones count as 0.5. Otherwise, the art style is super cute and I think this is a great game with lots of potential! Nice job!
This is a really neat concept! The laser is super satisfying to shoot, you can really feel the impact. I think the general speed of the game could be increased a tad, like the speed at which the laser charges up as well as the time that the laser is visible for. I reckon it would flow a little nicer. Otherwise, great submission!
Nice game! I love the idea of needing to complete the levels in the least amount of shots and mirrors to get a higher score. I feel like the levels could be cut down a bit, a lot of them use the same mechanics and concepts as previous ones with not a whole lot of "new". For example, maybe instead there could be just a few levels that show of the basics, then move onto using the prisms. Also not sure if this was intentional, but you can shoot the light and then switch to build mode and move around the mirrrors while the light is still moving. However, that could be an interesting idea to explore, but yeah just wanted to point that out. Otherwise, fantastic submission!
Nice game! Had a lot of fun with this one. I'd say the bullets being able to hit the player is currently a little too punishing. I found myself being way too careful with my bullets instead of utilising the reflection mechanic to take out slimes. I'm thinking possibly a lifetime limit on the bullets could be a nice addition, so that they aren't bouncing around forever until they hit something. This was especially an issue when the round was over and I was trying to dodge the bullets and choose an upgrade at the same time. Otherwise, I love the game's concept and gameplay, I see a lot of potential in it. The art style is also super clean and consistent throughout the game. Great submission!
Neat concept, and I love the art style! I found myself most of the time pressing space bar out of instinct to try jump, but ended up toggling the laser instead. Maybe a mouse button will fit better for this mechanic, since you also use the mouse to aim. Showing the cursor (or adding a custom cursor) in game could be a nice addition as well, since its difficult to know where you're aiming before you turn the laser on. Otherwise, enjoyed playing this one!
Neat concept! Managed to get to 6357 and completed the game! This was honestly super satisfying to play and I loved the dynamic of needing to dodge the triangles but also collect the power-ups to increase the score. I'm thinking maybe the attacking can be done automatically instead of needing to press the space bar? Seeing that you can attack infinitely and will likely be doing that anyways. Otherwise, this is a great submission!
Glad you enjoyed the game! I'll be adding in short tutorials throughout the game in the future to help with mechanics like mirror throwing. Also sorry to hear about level 10. I did actually realise shortly after submission that you can use that other mirror to hit the second charger, which was not intended, haha. A slow motion mechanic is genius though! I might look into adding something like that, it would look sick as. Thank you so much for the feedback!
Neat idea! I like that there's a wide range of reflectors and refractors, really mixes up the gameplay and makes each level feel fresh. I'd suggest altering the speed at which the objects rotate. It initially feels too slow, but then the sped-up version feels too fast. There might be a sweet spot in-between. Otherwise, great game!
Great game! Love the art style and the infinite scrolling background. The levels are well made as well, grew in challenge at a nice steady pace. I think it would feel better if when the player jumps up against a wall they keep their upwards momentum instead of going straight into the wall slide animation. Otherwise, had a lot of fun!
Had fun with this one. I liked the sonar mechanic, and can see its potential if explored further with new mechanics. The menu was unique as well being tied into the world. As others have mentioned, maybe some extra air friction could allow the player to make more precise platforming. Otherwise, great job!
This was so good! I love that bullet damage increases with every bounce, really incentivises the player to utilise that mechanic rather than just directly shooting enemies. The inclusion of multiple types of weapons, enemies and shields really keeps the game fresh with every level. The difficulty flow is perfect as well, although the final boss is quite a jump. Overall, had a great time with this one!
