Game Description
Play as a chimpanzee having its intelligence tested as a lead scientist talks through each test to his group.
How does your game tie into the theme?
As a measure of animal intelligence, they often go through a "Mirror Test". This game expands on that idea by testing a chimp's intelligence in a few ways. As you look into the mirror, not all is as it seems

Reflection being used as a comparison between humans and chimps that's an idea that no chimp could have taught of.
Really fun playing as a chimp.
Good submission and good work :3
Nice submission! I enjoyed playing as a chimp, as a huge fan of them although failing miserably their actual strength!
That was... unexpected! hahaha
I had to try different answers and I wasn't disappointed when I got very different responses. Great game, congratulations!
Holy shit I absolutely love this.
This gives off very SCP-like vibe. That twist ending was really well done and it took me a second to realise wtf just happened. Awesome work.
Cool game and story. :) Very nice.
Interesting ! I would be curious to see a longer version of it ;)
Interesting game! I can see the potential for a longer experience which explores this concept further. Also the plot twist at the end was crazy haha!
Return to monke...
I like the story and the ending. Like many others have said this can be a good basis for something longer. Well done!
Very enjoyable! The game is well-made and presents an interesting concept that can serve as inspiration for many things. Thank you for creating this little game for us!
Cool idea! The game is short, but it's executed pretty well, and I also did not expect the twist in the end. Good job!
What a trip — I didn’t know what to expect, but I certainly didn’t expect that.
I actually liked the visuals, the style is very charming in my opinion. My only complaint is that the font was a bit rough, like it’s being scaled incorrectly or something.
I didn’t realize music was “missing” until I read the description. I think the typewriter-like dialogue sfx, followed by complete silence, worked really well with the setting.
This is very close to being fully playable with just a mouse, if only there were some on-screen buttons to pan left/right. I didn’t mind using A/D, but it took me a moment to realize that I had to use the keyboard for that.
Overall it was a really enjoyable experience. Nice entry!
I really enjoyed the absurd format of the game, I think a spiritual successor or remake with more features and story could genuinely be a fun project to pursue! Great job c:
Put a smile on my face, a fun little experience.
Haha, very fun, I laughed at the end :D Very cute game, with great meta narrative and I liked how you combined both meanings of reflection :)
Haha I love the twist! Great idea and I really liked the duration for telling a quick story in a jam :)
Also very satisfying dialogue audio
Short and sweet. I enjoyed the twist at the end and wonder how Sam ended up there in the first place. 👀
(Sorry for the notif spam. I didn't notice the site wanted me to save my rating before posting!)
This game is short and pretty simple but still is pretty good in the art and sound design. And the accessibility is out of this world, even a chimp could play this ;)
This is borderline experimental, very avant garde.
You apologized for the rushed art on the game page, but I honestly like it!
