How does your game represent "Power"?
While traversing through the old unit, you need to establish electrical power through many different ways to advance! The magical power at the end of the unit is a good motivator for the main characters as well! (we also recommend visiting our store page for warnings about softlocks :>)

Love the 3d Models and general art/story for this game! Very fleshed out for just over a week of dev! I like the tutorialization aspect of unlocking new characters over time :)
So cute! I love the designs so much! I had a lot of fun with the puzzles.

What a treat! Dialogue heavy can be a little rough on me, but you guys did a great job giving the characters their personality and foreshadowing their roles within the party through the dialogue that was given. Most of the dialogue was short and sweet enough that it didn't feel like I was dealing with something all that heavy, but even then, being able to write this much while juggling the level design, puzzle design, establishing mechanics (especially the control of 4 characters thing) and get the sounds to match the vibe is awesome and you guys pulled it off.
I think the main thing is that the atmosphere and the story didn't fully sync up, there was a point where I was expecting it to turn into a full on horror game and it never did even with some spooky undertones to everything that was going on. But, there's already so much work done to it up to now that I can only imagine how well things would mesh together and how cohesive the overarching game could become if you guys had more time to work on it.
The puzzles were fun, it felt like picking up a variety puzzle book from the store (this is a compliment i promise) and the difficulty progression was smooth and seamless. I love that even though Pip didn't have a "power", he was the only one who was handy. Whether he thinks its a super power or not, being a plumber, electrician, and mechanical engineer all at once is 100% a super power and that rocks for him. There were cute little things here and there with the characters and their relationships with their own abilities that I also appreciated.
Most of the issues I ran into gameplay-wise you're all already aware of and highlighted in your store page, so I don't have to go over any of that. I do wish I had the option to sprint with the characters, since backtracking once I completed a section could get a little tedious.
Overall VERY good job in the time frame we had. I look forward to future projects from you guys and I hope this one gets to see a little tlc post jam. These are some characters that'll be fun to follow in time.
im glad that you enjoyed your experience!! we're hoping with the full version of the game we could include all of the stuff we cut, and maybe rewrite some of the story! Roy initially had more puzzles to him, but those were ultimately cut due to the deadline :(( your words are massively appreciated and we'll hold them very close to our hearts... also, did you have a favorite character in mind?
The deadline is always the killer haha. Thankfully we've got all the time in the world after the jam :)
Pip was probably my favorite if I had to pick, but Fluff's ability really drew me in. I think the potential between Fluff and Roy's powers specifically can lead to a lot of very interesting puzzles down the line and while it's a shame you couldn't work more on Roy's puzzles before the submission deadline, I like having the anticipation of what could be in the future
A very tight little puzzler! I think the progression of unlocking new characters and mechanics was clever and well paced. The different characters also all brought something interesting and new. I caught myself tending to stick with the little first person guy cause I found the camera control they gave me helpful for navigating. I also generally preferred the in world puzzles over the minigame puzzles, although those were quite good too. I was surprised how much the inverted tetris puzzle pieces came together for me despite how complicated they appeared at first. I would be very interested to see this game after it gets an environmental design pass, as even with the greyboxing the environments still generally tended to feel somewhat distinct. I think this is a really solid foundation you could build a full product out of! Great work overall, very solid entry!
thank you so much for your kind words!! if we had like maybe a couple more hours, the environments wouldve been a lot more detailed, but im glad you see the blueprints! we're going to keep working on this game after the streams and hopefully youll be there day one >:)) thank you once again for playing!! and also... do you have a favorite character?? :>
Wow what a fantastic game! I loved the dialogue, character dynamic, graphics, and especially the puzzles. Extremely fun and I'd genuinely play a fleshed out version of this game. I think the box puzzles are a bit challenging but overall it was very fun. Impressive you and your team got this done in a week. Seriously, you all should be proud!
A very fun and sweet little game, I love the visual style and had a great time!
This was really fun!! Music and art style blended perfectly, dialogue was a lot but didn't feel overwhelming at all because of the quick-skip on tab. Thoughtful design and engaging gameplay :)
Side note, I recognize those tree assets at the beginning lmao, I think I've used them before too!
No wonder that one kid is so timid. He's disturbed by his DEMON VISION!!!
I like how that other character was like, well, maybe that dark spirit is just trying to help.
Neat game!
The ambient noise gets interesting, too, if you wait long enough.
But, in one room, I didnt understand why i couldn't try to solve the glyphs on the barrier around the generator. And i thought i couldn't punch the pillar cuz i tried every single one except the one you're supposed to punch lol.
Didnt get to see the cutscene. Maybe ill try again later cuz im kinda curious to see it.
It was such a great experience! All of the characters have so much personality. The art style perfectly fits the setting of the game. I think this game can easily win the jam. Good stuff :)
this was incredible! played to completion. really high effort for a 9 day jam. my only real criticism is that it kind of felt like it over stayed its welcome, a lot of the puzzles could've done without a step or 2 as it just starts to feel like busy work at a point. still, i don't see this as a reason to dock any stars! i could totally see this becoming the next big thing all the youtubers play with a full release, all the characters were so charming and cute and the atmosphere was delightfully eerie. great work from all of you!! 20/20
omg thank you so much!! we were looking into doing a full release after the game jam where we kinda build the game from the groun up (yknow how gamejam code goes), we hope youll play it once that comes around!! we appreciate your kind words!! (P.S. blink was super fun as well :3) do you have a favorite character?? :)
Extremely impressive scope for a 9 day jam, and pretty darn polished considering that time frame. Great characters, art, and puzzles. Awesome job! :)
The art and characters are really cool, I'd easily pay for a version of this with more character development, and of course, more game development. There is a lot of potential here. Well done :)
I wish I had the time before I had to go to bed to finish! Very fun puzzles though, and an impressive length for the development time!
Love the unique abilities of each character! The puzzles were interesting and just the right level of difficulty. It wish there was a way to save because I had to take a break after the first glyph room and lost my progress.
Thanks for the tip! I made it a bit further but got stuck after entering the credentials, since I somehow clipped two of the characters through the steam by going into first-person mode, and I wasn't able to get back. Skipping again with the zero key put me at a completely black screen. I'll try again tomorrow and try not to break it again (:
