Game's Take on the Theme
The characters are thrown in a world fueled by Torque. Almost every boss and weapon utilizes rotation in some way
Did your team make the majority of the art and music during the jam?

The art here is fantastic!
I am the best ball player in the world.
Great use of the theme and a very fun game. Loved the music and the visuals/boss design using spinning elements all make it feel very cohesive. My only thing imo is out of the three characters I feel like the spider is the least interesting from what I played so far. The spider generally doesn't have to get close to the bosses like the other two characters and while it was easier it didn't feel as engaging. Overall though pretty sick game.
Really liked the animations and visual style - so nostalgic. The music and SFX are great, and the bosses are fun and interesting. The only downside for me was the controls; they added to the difficulty. One of the best submissions here, thanks! Keep it up, make some levels with regular enemies, and you will have an excellent platformer.
You can rebind the controls from settings
Great game!
Bosses are creative, soud and music are good, artstile is nice and combat is good.
That said, the controls are really stiff, I get that's by design but doesn't feel really good and in the machinegun bossfight the attack circles blend with the backround making them hard to see.
Great game overall!!!
Definitely a good game and good tutorial but I suppose the dash should be called teleport instead. I like the animations and controls are easy to get you onboarding.
only Dokuraki can do teleporting dashes. Other characters have their own unique specialties. Thanks for playing
I have to say, this is my favorite game of the jam! I can’t believe how good it is, the art is incredible, the music is amazing, and the gameplay is smooth and polished. Everything about this game felt perfect. It brought me back to my childhood, playing on my old Nintendo DS and GBA. Truly an outstanding piece of work, you should be really proud!
(Also, you could absolutely make this a bit longer and put it on Steam, and I’m sure people would buy it!) Cheers :D
The art style got me! ❤ Everything in this game is amazing—what more can I say? xD You did a great job, guys! GG! ❤
Good Job! It's a great game!
Gameplay, visual, technically everything seems Ok!
There's doesn't seem to be anything wrong but if you do wish to hear my personal opinion:
Random Boss are fine, yeah I know you might set it that way so people won't get bored with same line up but for the first run or first encore, I suggested that there's a fixed boss line up because you include the upgrade and weapon here.
Some people might struggle with starting weapon if they faced a pretty challenging bosses, you made the bosses yourself so I'm sure you aware that all bosses are not equally hard, there are bosses that pretty easy especially with the right weapons while other can be pretty annoying.
Which is why I suggested to put easy bosses first to allow the player to grow in hope they can reach the last boss.
There are three bosses that I managed to get perfect bonus but that's only happened after or when I got the right weapon, also I kind of focused on one/two weapon I am familiar with so I have been upgrading only that and for some reason my weapon always stuck on LV3, idk is it bug or upper limit anyway I write this up based on my experience playing as Valerie and managed to reach encore 6, the last boss took my fav weapon so I was struggling on the first and second boss of that encore and loosing too much HP and yeah idk but the HP recovery after battle seems getting lower each encore or is it just me? I didn't keep track my HP because I'm too focused to look at the boss attack pattern after all.
I tried the other two but I'm not very good at using them, or rather I'm used with double jump for evade because it's versatile as you can chase moving bosses quickly or remain in the air longer to avoid danger on the ground while that's not the case for warp or double dash, oh well warp and double dash is just not my cup of tea that's it.
That's all I guess, if I write something wrong or missed something, let me know.
Also I'd love to hear your opinion about my game if you don't mind~

This game is just so good, the art and animation is on point, the wealth of content is staggering for a game made in only a month, and the whole package screams professional polish. I'm also EXTREMELY bad at this game, and I think the main issue I'm having is with the controls.
Jump, dash, attack, special attack, and switch weapons is a bit too much for me to juggle on a keyboard, I found myself constantly trying to remind myself what buttons I needed to press while trying to fight the bosses, which can feel pretty frustrating. This would have been instantly remedied if I could have used my controller but for some reason dash wasn't mapped to any buttons? (Or at least none of the buttons on my controller let me dash). Dashing is super important for dodging enemies so playing on controller was not really a good alternative for me.
If controls had been implemented just a bit more gracefully I think this game would be a 10/10, but for now it's just a bit below that for me.
You can change key bindings
Right you are, now I have no excuses for why I suck lol
Cool game!! Very nice graphics and well polished, it was very fun
First off, I would like to say that this is a really good looking game and it’s clear that you put a LOT of work into this! I love the design of each boss and I think their attacks are quite interesting. Additionally, I think the player choice and different weapons to choose from are also great. The bosses, when you initially play the game, is pretty difficult, but once you explore through the many bosses of this game and learn what you can and can’t do, I think you will persevere and they become quite fun! Good job on the game!
I liked the 3 characters selection and love the art.
I would love to have a higher jump but is a great game!
I don't think my brain quite comprehends the level of polish that this submission has. I got so into the game and so swept up with how cleanly designed and presented everything was that I genuinely forgot I was playing a game jam game for a while there. This is one of those games that I'll just be coming back to time and time again to play over and over, because it's as aesthetically impressive as it very fun to play. There's so much room for synergy and experimentation here, every run I had even with the same character just felt different because I felt like the game gave me room to experiment and change up my play style without a high cost or barrier. I don't know what else to say really this is just an excellent game.
very nice
Great game, i love the colors!
Valerie for the win, but spider goes pew pew! Such a fun game guys :D
VERY polished, and really fun! They got A LOT done in the limited time they had so well done!! a bit difficult to figure out but other than that everything was GREAT, the music, the art, the bosses, everything!
Great game and vibe. A bit hard for me, but that's probably just skill issue :)
I would love it if it was playable in the browser and if the resolution was a bit higher. I had a hard time reading some of the text, because of the low res. Overall great job, keep it up!
Thanks for playing! We have an option to increase window size from the settings menu, however the resolution sticks to the Game Boy Advance display due to our artstyle
This is great- it's really polished and has a lot of depth. It's also really hard. I lose against the cogs every time I fight them lol. Also, settings menu and controller support is A+ for a game jam
Incredible game! The gears and artstyle reminded me of the game Drill Dozer! Awesome job!
