Game's Take on the Theme
You have to spin a catapult to break stuff and have fun :)

Did your team make the majority of the art and music during the jam?
No.

If not, please link to any asset packs or resources used here.
I've used Synty low-poly models and the music is listed in the credits.

This was fun to play. The wind was a nice touch. It was very satisfying to time the launch to hit the dragon right above a bunch of the enemies. Good job!

Developer

Thank you! I am glad you've had fun! <3

Never succeeded to kill the dragon ! I would have liked to choose the ending point of the swing

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! <3

You can choose the end point. It's described in the tutorial, but it's basically the closest tangential point between where you click and the circle that the catapult arms makes. There is a bit of a learning curve. I am sure you can get the dragon after a few tries. Also keep a note of the wind that affects the projectiles.

I see it's a game for math enjoyers, fortunatly, I am one !

Fun game to play. My favorite part was slaying the dragon.

Thanks for playing! And yes, glad to hear, I made that dragon from scraps and hand-animated it :D

Glad you had fun <3

Wow this is like angry birds but is actually more fun. I think its the way the platforms crumble and are technically 3d assets. Very very satisfying gameplay. Thought I was done playing and then I saw I could use the ball instead of the rock! Might be fun to allow the player to swap between mid run! Either way great job! I do have to ask though, is there a boss that I missed?

Developer

Thanks for playing! Originally I had the option to switch to Ball mode as part of the Pause settings, but I moved it, as I felt they are very different. There is no boss per se, but there are harder mobs on the higher difficulties. Planning on re-doing the way the gameplay works and adding more mobs. Thanks for the feedback <3

I played more of this game than I'd like to admit, it's such a meditative zen game, I feel like it's one of those things you could see on the Youtube Playables tab that are explicitly designed to suck up as much of your time as possible. Physics based games usually tend to have that effect so good job on replicating that addictive feel!

Developer

Thanks for playing! And thanks for the kind words, glad you enjoyed it. That's exactly what I was going for, I think most of my games are typically more intense and I really wanted something more chill and relaxing :)

Thanks <3

It was a very relaxing little game, I liked how it reminded me of Angry Birds. The music is very relaxing and the game's theme fits the mechanics. I love the skeletons' goofy dancing, very silly, but I enjoyed it. The simplicity is also easy to pick up.

The only thing is about the wind. At first, I didn't notice the wind as an element, I just saw rocks being scraped away. I would suggest adding some white waves to see the direction of the wind more clearly.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I have the leaves and the smoke to indicate the wind, but I can see how you can miss those, especially if you don't go through the guide. I'll think about ways to improve it.

Thanks <3

I like the vibe and the idea, it's original and fresh, but it's kinda hard to get used to the controls and the graphics aren't that good.

Developer

Thanks for playing <3

I liked the vibe options for this, being able to swap between day / night & relaxed / intense music is nice. I don't think I am very good at this game, but I could see it going somewhere. I think this really needed more obvious bosses to stand out. I am treating the dragon / different mobs, but think either after several enemies it spawning, or really making them obvious, it would have helped.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yes, it's on my list. There are more enemies on the higher difficulty settings, but I have a few ideas on how to spice things up :)

Thanks <3

Could be a nice big mobile game with some extra polish, nice work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! And thanks for playing! <3

That dancing enemy is taunting me...

Developer

Haha, that's the idea :D Thanks for playing <3

Interesting mechanics! Very well implemented!

Simple game, but not very optimized for my PC :(

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Sorry it didn't run very well for you :(

Submitted(+1)

Great mechanic and so much fun to play! wanted to keep playing. Really satisfying to get a hit. 5 stars on everything apart from....boss? Maybe I just didn't get far enough but I didn't come across a boss. Generally great job though

Developer

Thank you! <3
There is no Boss, per se, but  there are lvl3 and lvl5 mobs that spawn on Medium and Hard.
Thanks again :)

Trying yours next!

I like the idea and it seems really calming. This may be a good idea to invest and carry furher. However I cannot figure out where the boss is.

Developer

Thanks! Definitely planning on adding more stuff. Currently there is no boss per se, just harder mobs on the higher difficulties.

Seemed difficult at first but could get used to launching the ball right way pretty fast.

While it looks and feels nice nothing really changes between between levels so it gets boring. This could be improved by adding either more different type of balls (exploding, spiting and so on) or adding different targets like exploding barrels.

I also don't like how my attack can gets completely change trajectory if I charge it too much. I think you could add a check to change swing direction only while swing power low.

Yes, I think I realized that it needs more progression after submission.
I have a lot of ideas and great feedback that I plan to implement. I think I made it a bit too easy for the jam.

Fun game! I feel like the bouncy ball should be the default as they are a lot more fun to play with. Maybe the rocks could be a "hard mode" of some kind? Using the bouncy ball kind of reminded me of a pinball game. Also loved the dancing guys and skeleton dragons to aim and hit.

Developer

Thanks for testing! Yes, already have some great feedback and ideas on how to change the modes around, so it's a bit more challenging.

I really liked the bouncy ball option! Took a little bit to get the hang of tossing the rocks around but its pretty fun!

Developer

Yes, the ball is fun! I am planning on re-working the modes, so perhaps you HAVE to play both combined :)

Thank you for playing! <3

It reminds me of angry birds in a fun way. A bit laggy for me but thats probably because I have a potato of a laptop.

Developer

Ah, that's a bummer. I tried it on my iPad and it worked OK,  but haven't experimented too much.
Thank you for playing! <3

Submitted(+1)

Dont worry about it too much. When I say my laptop is a potato, I mean it. I have about 2GB of ram and a 15 year old memory card I found laying around. It is probably just something on my end. Once again, great job on the game.

Developer

Thanks <3

i like the take on spin by having to spin around a catapult arm!

Developer

Thank you for playing! <3
