Game's Take on the Theme
My game has a player character that uses a spinning sword attack around the character. There are no other attacks except for spinning!

This was a really good game. Cutscenes were cool but I died three times because of them. When you have a single hp left and get the boss bar to zero, a cutscene starts during which you cannot move. If you killed the boss while projectiles were still flying, you would die.

In my opinion you could've also introduced some kind of healing or a restart button for the plr as the fights were relatively long.

Very pleasant artwork and style choices. The boss fights themselves are very complex, albeit too difficult for me to complete both after multiple tries. The voice acting was a cool addition. Great use of theme too, good job!

very solid take on the theme, and the gameplay is fun! I just think its a bit too hard and needs more feedback for when the player takes damage

You did an excellent job with the voice acting and the player's controls, which are simple and effective. The game is maddeningly hard, which is not for everyone, but I really enjoyed the challenge! Super well done.

Glad you like it. This game has a high difficulty level because it is inspired by Dark Souls and has a boss character story telling about the boss's personality. I tried to make the boss as good as possible. :)

Brilliant! I laughed out loud a couple of times at the playful take on an over-the-top storyline. I'm amazed by the direction and how smoothly the game guides the player to the first boss, especially with the tutorial! The mouse-based mechanics are fantastic and feel incredibly intuitive—I never felt restricted, only held back by my own clumsy hands. It's impressive that you managed to create a game of this quality in such a short time. Absolutely amazing!

Glad you like it. It's a game I put a lot of effort into. Every story and dialogue, I tried to convey the boss's origins, his personality as much as possible and make the player want to conquer it. Glad you see what I tried to put into it.

It's quite fun. I admit that I died quite a few times before I could defeat the first boss. 

I might be a bit slow for this type of game. The graphics are okay. You have to use a lot of reflex skills.

This was actually really fun. I appreciated the simple controls and think it leant really well to the game play. My only real issue was I found it quite difficult. I would have liked something to make it a bit more accessible to start with and get used to the mechanics. I understand its intended to be high difficulty, but for a game jam game having an option to make it easier might allow more people to get more from the game. Still a fantastic entry and could see this progressing beyond the jam!

Glad you like it and see its potential. I wanted it to feel like a Dark Souls boss and make the storyline as suspenseful as possible as a boss and make the player feel good about beating it. But I might have to tweak it to have a more appropriate difficulty curve later. Thanks for the advice!

This is a true hidden gem. One criticism I have is the fact we can get hit -and die- during dialogs or in-between phases.

This is super awesome! I'd pay a couple bucks for this on steam in it's current state lol. The visual style is great and the level of polish is insane! The difficulty is there but nothing was frustrating, the undertale style of telling the story also hooked me in straight from the start, it was done in a very charming way; would really love to see this developed further! I especially loved how the bosses have specific upgrades they drop, directly relating to them!

Pretty simply fun, no smoke and mirrors

How was the voice acting done? There's no intonation and no pauses when there should be, I don't know if this was AI voiced or just a quick fiverr job? A little detrimental to your game, to be honest, whichever it was. Like the bosses' designs and their fights, though.

An absolute minor nitpick though, is how you wrote the MC is the vengeful savior warrior, but it has them googly eyes, which doesnt sell the character to me.

I did the voices myself and had my family and friends help me do the voices and modify them to make them sound more resonant and like the character.

The most fun game I have played yet, the mechanic is really well exectued, the controls are smooth and responsive. This is the first game i have to say id like to see worked on post jam, it would do for a fun little roguelike :D

The voice acting and the story are great, the particles add alot too.
