Love the game it was easy to pick up and play, I got to the last boss but unfurtunetly I died half way I felt it was my fault since the boss felt fair but perhaps I wouldn´t have reset from the beginning rather the last stage you were at, also the pumpking had many invulnerability phases.
but I had a blast playing, if you could rate my game in return that would be great :)
No worries about rating, I always rate everyone's game whoever comments.
And yeah glad you think the boss was fair, and there's only like 2 times the boss becomes invulnerable (unless there was some glitch) when it jumps at the player and does the shield thing, but I also designed the game so that you could get overpowered with the upgrades if you figure out the right ones to pick so it makes the boss easier, but thanks for playing, i'll get to yours soon :)
Ohh Myy GoD. THIS GAME IS PEAK. Wow this is a really fun rougelike game, and I really like how you implemented it with the theme of calm before the storm. Its also gives the risk reward mechanics, so you can decide to greed to get more money. The boss is also absolutely amazing and at the end game when you get really strong the bullet becomes extremely satisfying.
One complaint I have is the tomato at the start is really repetitive, everytime you die you need to plant all the tomato and it's not hard to beat them but instead it take time.

Oh 2nd complaint I wish the shot gune spread were more accurate, like when you have a lot of bullet count instead of being like shot gun where the area of damage is 'V' the area of damage was actually half 'O' or half a circle. This make taking a lot of bullet count not worth it and less satisfying way to enjoy the game.
Third complaint, I wish the boss have an indicator of what attack it is going to performs. It really is a luck boss fight some time.
THIS GAME IS SOO FUN I FINISH IT TWO TIME ALREADY!! OH IT WOULD BE EVEN MORE FUN WITH PARTICLES EFFECTS!!
I really love looking at feedback so yeah I constantly check the comments lol.
I do understand the spread can get a little too much and yes it is unsatisfying, I'll work on this when I'm getting a full version done, balancing is kinda difficult to do in a jam of course lol.
Oh and for the boss, some people complained saying it was too easy and some were saying too hard lol, i don't really know what to do in terms of balancing it but yeah indicators sound like a good idea of course.
I would have tried particle effects too but I was not really familiar with the system Godot was providing so I stayed away from it just for the Jam.
I can't say enough how happy I am to see someone enjoying a game I made, this was a dream for me, thank you for playing :D
The fact that u implemented a Upgrade Shop is nice. Normaly i dont like such games, but i will give it a try!

Stuck with the ranged glass cannon sniper build and it made the final boss a breeze.
Fun game! I like the risk reward mechanic of you deciding how difficult the round will be, but in return, how much you'll get payed out for beating it.

Really interesting take on the theme! I like the idea of the calm being the time to plant your crops, but then your actions in the calm directly effect how 'stormy' your storm gets. I made the mistake of planting all of the crops on the second level and I got swamped xD.
Cool concept, with it being a farming/bullet hell game, especially having to fight your own crops.

Yeah the spelling errors are something to do with the font, when I repeat the letter M in the same label for some reason it changes to N, I don't even know how or why but I was too far in and couldn't change it.

haha, this game is not balanced at all, in a good way. The player can scale very fast and feels rewarding for greedily filling up all the plots. Nice submission

I really loved this entry! Super creative interpretation of the theme! I really loved how polished the experience is and how fun it is to gamble with placing more carrots or corn etc. Fantastic entry, I could see this becoming its own full game some day! :)

Very cool and polished game! In the first run i was to greedy and died fast. I liked a lot that you can choose more power-ups if you increase the difficulty of the stage.

What a cute and polished game!! Such a unique idea to plant and them being your enemies and getting money to upgrade yourself.
Good game for sure and love to see more of it eventually. I would had liked something that would show us what each enemy does like a info guide.

Fellow farming combat game! Loved this - really creative concept. I loved the push-your-luck aspect of planting the crops. Perfect length and progression for a jam game, and awesome crop art. Nice!!

i think it could be cool to have a way to know how much hp and damage my crops have so i can see how my upgrades will benefit me before i buy them, but that can wait for the steam releaseP:
