How does your game fit the theme?
The game starts off pretty slowly and becomes hectic and this is my take on the storm aspect of the theme.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
The shader and code has been written by me along with the level design and building model.
The assets have been taken from Low Poly Office Pack available on unity asset store and sounds are taken from pixabay.com and zapsplat.com

This was funny, I really liked throwing the chairs around. I managed to beat the game by talking people, but I had to go back and lose on purpose so I could live my dreams of throwing a chair out the window and running from the office. Great job on this!

Developer(+1)

Glad I could help you live your dream xD

Thanks for playing.. Hope you have a great day ahead!!

Funny game :) Particularly enjoyed throwing the chair through the window. Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing. Hope I didn't teach you new things to try at office xD

Hope you have a great day!!

ANOTHER office game similar to mine! :D I love this, this would perfectly fit into my game too, might steal this idea :D Wish this had more tasks or levels, maybe some music would be nice too. But otherwise good game!

Developer(+1)

Looking forward to see your game having this situation. An irritating colleague and an ever ringing telephone. What a hellish como xD

Couldn't add more tasks or music due to time issues, will try to collab with others next time :(

Thanks for playing!! Hope you have a good day:D

A short fun game, there are indeed issues with the shaders, also my interface was clipped a bit, but there were no critical bugs or issues. Good job!

Submitted(+1)

People asking for help and then speaking japanese. Sounds like another day at the office for me.

Hope that you'll also play mine https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2973690

I love throwing the chair, Feel kinda scared first time hear someone call me in the game, lol. Luckily manage to escape the grind. Kudos.

Developer(+1)

HAHAHAH!! I know who called you first... ITS THE MANAGER XD

Thanks for playing and sharing your feedback. Hope you have a wonderful day ahead!!

Submitted(+1)

this is cool but graphics is low

Developer(+1)

Can I know if the graphic quality is low or the look of the game itself is low?

Thank you for the feedback. Hope you have a great day ahead!! :

Submitted(+1)

there is a problem with shader (not the game lock the ui is well)

Developer

Thanks for the reply. I know the shaders are acting a bit weird must have made smaller meshes. Learnt for the next JAM :D

How I speedran this game in 4.5 seconds (timer started when I pressed a movement key)

1. Run to the right of the ramp and stare into the corner to grab a chair through the wall
2. Pull the chair out and then throw it
3. Jump on the chair and jump over the wall designed to keep you in
4. Run to the window and trigger the victory condition box
5. Enjoy my world record and all the fame that comes with

Actual review: this game is quite fun! I played through the exit door ending, then the window ending, then speedran. They kept yelling at me! Silly NPCs always getting in my way! It was hilarious. I like how they just kept spawning way faster than you could even hope to resolve them all. Makes it a lot more frantic. The funny 3d nature is hard to pull off well, you nailed it!

If I had to add one thing, a funny boss character should slow-walk towards you and fire everyone who gets in his way, as a way to lose the game.

I am here because you played Flood N' Dash from that community post.

Developer(+1)

Yoo bro!! I knew we could do that but didn't expect someone to seriously do it. Like you have me impressed dude :D I am so happy!!

Thank you for your kind feedback... I was actually planning to make the tasks like delivering stuff to the ppl spawning and wanted to make it more of a mess than it already is. Your boss idea seems really cool (and close to reality xD), will try to incorporate it if I continue working on the project.

How did you know I played it through the post xD. Thanks for playing my game and breaking it

Hope you have a wonderful day ahead!!

Submitted(+1)

I knew because you commented on Flood N' Dash right during the rush of like 4 different people rating with comment who I knew for sure were from the post because they replied to it. It was more like a 99% certainty guess.

Thanks for responding, wonderful day to you too!

Developer(+1)

Thanks man.. You made my day :D

Submitted(+1)

Pfft haha, this is so silly, I love it. Wish I could bail like that at my actual job.

Developer

Everyone's wish turns true in games!!! xD

Thanks for playing!! Hope you have a great day ahead. :D

Submitted(+1)

Silly little game! I got out pretty easily on my first try, even got out of the gray area outside the exit using a chair to climb.

Developer(+1)

You not only escaped the grind but the existence of corporate itself :D

Wanted to keep the game simple and let you exit through the window, so made it so that unless the player really worked hard to win, they are set to use the window..

Thanks for playing. Hope you have a great day ahead!!

Submitted(+1)

Nice job! To improve it, there's this strange glitching when looking around where it jumps to a random point, it's sort of disorienting and makes it hard to play. If you don't think you're aware of the bug I may check if it was some one-off thing or if it's something maybe only affecting me. Other than that great job on this game!

(I think I recently found out after seeing this in a few more games, that it's because of no cursor lock and if having more than one monitor, which I just found could be tricky to make, so I may try to just keep the cursor in the game area)

Developer

If you don't mind can you elaborate on the issue. I would love to fix it even if it's a one off thing.. Atleast wont happen for my next project:D

Thanks for playing and sharing your feedback!!

Have a great day!!

Clever concept. I'm not sure if it was broken but I ended up having a ton of unresolved issues and it still let me leave; I had addressed at least 10 of them though before I went out the door. My only issue was getting caught on chairs as I ended up throwing a couple chairs at my coworkers (umm...please don't tell HR!) as I picked them up instead of addressing the issue. I'd say it was a bug but it was kind of funny them not even reacting to it. Great job!

Developer

I wanted to force ppl to use the window exit but still wanted ppl to leave through the exit if they wanted to so made it so that as long as you complete a set number of issues you could leave the office through the door otherwise the window is always a option ;D

Thanks for playing and hope you have a great day ahead!!! :

Submitted(+1)

Interesting concept, I like the "fuck this shit, throw a chair out of the window and leave" moment XD. Maybe adding more ways to escape would be cool. Overall, good job on your game!

Developer

Thats the feel I was going for!!!! I am glad you felt that way ;D

Was planning to do a lot more but you know how jams work.. took a lot of time to figure out shaders

Thanks for playing man!!

Hope you have a great day!

I had fun with this one, its simple and cute, I like the style and highlight shader. The game had me wondering what was gonna go down at this office,

A little bit of feedback from my experience:
I would of loved to know what the issues the employees had were, or even had to go grab something from the office and bring it back to them. That could make the issue resolution more engaging, while still using systems already at play: text and the pickup/throw system.

One other thing to report from my experience is the very beginning when you're locked to looking towards the instructions made me think something was wrong with my mouse or something, I actually reset the page before realizing walking would free me. Not so much a problem as just confusing, to at least one person

I don't want to spoil anything but I'll say I like how you chose to handle the losing condition when the issues pile up. Good job!

Developer

First of all, thank you so much for the detailed feedback :D

Glad you could enjoy the look of the game. Took a lot of time to make the shaders.

Was planning to make some delivery kinda thing with the pickup throw system(like deliver chairs, laptops, coffee and other regular office boy stuff) but couldn'd make it happen:(

The mouse part initially is something new. I will look into it once maybe the way I programmed will have to change.

The window exit is how i feel sometimes ;D

Once again thanks for playing and hope you have a great day ahead!!
