Such a nice puzzle crawler, I liked what I played and you've incorporated the theme quite well. I guess there is still hope for that little fluffy cat, right? :)
Thank you for playing :)
Sweet puzzle game!
And the ending fit well with the topic! Did I won or not? Who knows? Maybe both? :D
Good job!
Thanks for playing ! :)
A really cool puzzle game idea! Everything is really responsive (well not so much in movement, hold to move could be a great addition), shooting and reality swapping was nice and felt right. Tutorial implementation was extra good! In my opinion changing the realities in what you can shoot in it would be nice (rn it is white in white and black in black) because it could bring more contrast so you can see what you are aiming at. Overall really cool small game that can have a lot of potential!
Thank you for playing! It is great that you liked it. I got your point about swapping the colors, it could be good idea for the update ;)
Great idea using schrödingers cat for the theme. Was excited as soon as I saw the title. The travel between the two worlds feels very clean and the mechanics the two different dimensions bring are interesting.
Audio is very responsive. Every shoot, every moving block(btw, how the level builds itself looks cool) gives off a sound. The soundtrack that plays throughout though got on my nerves a bit.
Two things that held the entry back in my opinion:
-The movement. The duration of turns and steps are a bit too. This, added to the fact that one has to press the button over and over again didnt feel right to me. The player should beable to hold the button to contnuosly move forward.
-Death. There should be a checkpoint. getting set back to the beginning sucks, plus the slow movements makes it extra tidious to get back where you were. Once I died I didnt know what was hitting me and once I found out it was already to late because I turned so slowly.
Overall great implementation of the theme, good sound design and puzzles, though movement could be improved.
Thanks so much for playing and for big feedback ;) I am glad you liked the way i went with the theme implementation. I will try to work more on movement in updated version (after i saw some other titles from the jam i realized what really smooth movement can mean). About the checkpoint: I didn't bother because the game was very short, but if i expand it i surely make some.
I am the cat but am I dead or not dead? or both?
Mindblown.
Interesting take on the theme.
Hard to tell, we only have OneShot to find out;)
Thanks!
I really liked how you implemented the theme here. And I found the gameplay to be interesting and fun. The movement felt a little sluggish but it wasn't too bad. I enjoyed my time, good game!
Hey! Thank you very much for playing :)
Cool entry. I loved how the environment moved around me as I worked on the puzzle. I was able to escape through the place I entered from at the end, but once I realized it was (probably) unintentional I went back in. The cube that we're holding clipping through the walls was a bit distracting; you could fix that by putting that block on its own layer and making a second camera with the clear flags set to depth only, the culling mask set to only that layer, and the depth set to 1.
Thank You Kevin! I will try your solution when i will be updating project :) and when it comes to walls: i was aware of this bug, sometimes it was happening while i was testing. Need some time to find the the solution for this.
Very original and intuitive! I love the monochromatic graphics, the tutorial texts seamlessly integrated in the game, it makes for a super fluid experience. I loved it! Some great Portal vibes here.
I love the idea of particle-wave duality. It was a very hard thing to turn into a game tho but you manage to do a nice little game. Good job !
Thank you! I am glad you like it :)
I absolutely loved the eerie piano and monochrome color palette that gave this entry a laboratory experiment vibe.
My only complaint is that it is so short! I need more! Do you plan to continue development?
Thank you for playing and for this really kind words! I am planning to polish it and expand a little bit after the jam ends. I will be happy if you try it then :)
Cool game, and I liked the parallels to Schrodingers cat.
Very quick to understand, the vfx were great!
I really liked the shifting design of the world. Nice graphics
I liked it a lot! Tutorial was amazing and writings on the wall were such a good touch through whole experience. Theme was well done too. Short game - yes, but fun either way!
interesting play on the theme and it was nice and short. i didnt fully understand the end it seemed a bit random, but good submission nonetheless!
Thanks for playing! Yeah, i did not have enough time to fully develop the ending. After the jam i will try to polish it a bit to by more clear;)
Interesting game, I liked the dimensional shifting concept. The level elements translating into place was really well done.
Gorgeous project, extremely well put together. It was a bit on the shorter side but I really liked what you did with your core concept, it reminded me a lot of Ikaruga
Wow! Thank you very much for playing and for kind words!
Very interesting concept! I really enjoyed the transition to the level after the "3 cubes left" portion, where the floor and walls were all smoothly flying in.
Thank you for playing!
First of all i love the simplicity of the main menu and the game itself, it was easy to understand. Although, the cube in front of me was clipping through the wall and I can also clip through some walls but overall it was a great experience.
Thank you for your comment! Yes I am aware of this bug and I will try to fix it soon.
Cool use of the duality theme! There were some interesting puzzles too!
