Amazing idea! The graphics effectively demonstrate the vibe. Love it.

Really interesting concept! At first I didn't quite understand how to play, but after a while the game starts to be fun. Also, the sounds are amazing. Great job!

Very cool game! The animations of characters are very nice! :D

Super cool strategy concept that makes you think more about the outcome of a battle than a typical combat sim. I really liked the aesthetic of the game. A couple of balancing issues with the units as well as a pop up UI of troop stats before placing would also be nice. I could really see this expanding into a larger puzzle-like game or a similar level campaign. Nice work!

I really liked the idea! It is unusual to want to have a fair game and to sometimes root for the opposing side. I noticed that if you clicked play after a round was over the game bugged and you had to restart.

Nice with a leaderboard, I came third my first time. Tried it again and after a couple of tries I got the second place. Man it got addicting quickly, my favourite game so far :D

I found some other bugs:
I think that the pieces that survived the previous round got to fire quicker than the pieces you placed.
Usually when the game ended the pieces shot a ball straight up.

Nice work!

Developer

Yeah it is funny to actively root for YOUR units to die lol. Thanks for playing!

Very cool idea! Like the facial animation of those two heads :-D

The idea is fun :D

I would suggest a speed up button for impatient people, and some informations on units value before adding them

Otherwise, good job :)

Really cool idea with a multilayered autobattler like this. Would be nice to maybe have a little more readability on the units before we place them. The animations and 3d modelling are super pretty.

The scales added an interesting dymanic to the game, I was confused to start with but then I realised higher score = bad XD Fab idea.

really like the idea, also it seems so much polish went into this. For future consideration it would be nice to see the values of the chess pieces before selecting them (maybe I missed it) or to remove a piece from the scale before the fight to have some room for correcting  errors.

To make this game in a month, with no game breaking bugs and actual fun gameplay is an amazing achievement. Great job!

Developer

You're definitely right I meant to show the stats when you mouse over the UI but ran out of time. You can remove a unit by right-clicking it but I forgot to put that in the tutorial, oops, thanks for playing!

Watching them attack is relaxing, but I hope there could be a speed-up button!

Very interesting twist to the autochess genre, I love it! 😄

I sincerely think that you have an idea with great potential in your hands, the layer of depth that managing your balance points at the end adds more strategy to your game compared to others of the same genre, good job! 😁

Also, I hold the #1 spot in the ranking at the moment with a score of 80, I challenge you all to take me down 😎

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! I appreciate the positive comments. So far you're still #1 xD

And if I ever go down, I will come back with a lower score 😉

Watching the little guys fight was a lot of fun! Audio was a bit spiky and jarring. I enjoyed the overall concept, and the characters and effects were well designed

Developer(+1)

Yeah the audio is annoying when a lot of units fire at once lol. Thanks for playing!

Like the concepts! Interesting gameplay but ya a little random.

Submitted(+2)

Great overall feel. Seems to have a lot of randomness to the actual gameplay, so luck seems like a pretty heavy driver, but overall I like the way it was brought out.

Developer(+1)

Yeah the inconsistent AI is a definitely an area for improvement, hard to predict outcomes when the units sometimes go full dumb dumb haha

Submitted(+2)

Fantastic idea, and great execution.

I'm not sure if auto battlers are my jam. It seems like they should be fun, but I get bored quickly watching troops fight with little direct input.

Maybe if we had some spells or active ability to influence the outcome once the battle started? But then the scale balancing might be too easy. Game design is hard.

Developer(+1)

That's a good idea, some interactivity to the fights could make it more interesting/engaging, thanks for playing!

Love the OSRS vibes.

Really unique idea! I'm certainly terrible at it though. hard to figure out a strategy. Almost wish I had more control of the units as when they fired or walked seemed to play a large roll in the outcome.

Scene was very well made and having it play on a large scale was a great use of the theme . however I wasn't able to type my name in the high score and the second time the highscore list was all zeros and "name" and the buttons didn't work.  a glitch we ran into with out own game actually. Not sure what triggered it here.

Developer(+2)

Thanks for the feedback, the Unit AI could definitely use more work to feel consistent and some interactivity would be good

Yeah the leaderboard sometimes crashing the 2nd time it's opened on the WebGL build and I'm not sure why that's happening. I haven't encountered the same bug on the windows build :/

Submitted(+1)

Yeah wed GL really do be that way sometimes!

Submitted(+2)

I think game play is pretty unique  and I like the clouds and the heads watching animations.
