Really nice. I liked the Pacman-esque turning of the tables once you got large enough. The benefit of the narrow scope really shined through in that all the little details felt polished--everything from the movement of the player to the menus. The graphics were excellent as well.

This reminds me of an old flash game i used to play, but forgot the name of. I've kinda been hankering for something like that for a long time now, so this was a pleasant surprise. Overall it was a really cool jam game!
Very Impressive with a wonderful environment. I died a few times before I ate enough fish to become the hunter and ended up with a score of 22. I only wish the hiding spots where a little easier to spot as I tried to hide under some coral and was promptly eaten. Fantastic work!
30! This may be personal preference, but I think I would want more small fish present at a time and requiring the player to eat more of them before transforming into the large form - only to cut down on the downtime between eating fish. It really felt like you were underwater which is impressive having done it in a month. Very well done!
30 is a pretty high score! Thanks for dedicating our game some time.
That's interesting. We thought doing that would increase the time until every transformation. And having in mind that in a jam people jump from one game to another really quick, we wanted the transformation to happen as soon as possible, so the player could experience a whole game loop in a minute or two.
Really like the graphics on this game, the AI for the angler fish was cool to see as well. Maybe add more grass patches though so its a little easier to hide once you've been found out.
Liked the look of this one. I wish there was just one more element to the gameplay, either some dash ability or some other way to interact with the enemies, but it was fun nonetheless. Good job!
Amazing game! I remember playing a similar game back in the day on Xbox 360 (I think it was 2d I can't remember) but similar idea with becoming a bigger and bigger fish. Overall, this game was really fun, beautiful graphics, great sound, and mechanics were overall intuitive. AI works was also really good. Amazing work!
I thoroughly enjoyed the immersive atmosphere crafted through the combination of visuals and audio.
Additionally, the Enemy AI stood out with its impressive pursuit dynamics, and the interesting shift in behavior when they became the ones being pursued
One minor hiccup I encountered during my initial playthrough was that, while going further upward due to the absence of small fish nearby, I found myself reaching a point where the non-rendered side of rocks became visible. If you pass through that area, you may eventually get stuck in the rocks. In such a case, a game restart is necessary.
Overall, I was highly impressed with the game experience!
Excellent job!
It was really good but only when I turned the graphics down to low (more of a commentary on me than your game). I liked the concept environment and sound, felt like you needed more methods to navigate with especially chases. Art was especially good and I enjoyed the scene playing out behind the titles (I am guessing this was AI game play and not recorded footage).
This is a challenging yet rewarding game! I really like the aesthetic of the underwater world and just the general atmosphere of the game. I especially liked the feeling when you're able to turn the tables on the bigger fish. Wish I could have progressed further as I ended with a score of 20. But overall this is a great game!
Beautifully done underwater world! Music was simple, but added appropriately to the atmosphere. The mechanic was fun too. Only comment I have is the mouse "look" was literal, I think a "lerp" to rotate the camera would chill that out and polish it up.
I did get some sort of collider issue in the wall and got stuck here:
That was simple enough to avoid, so I kept playing and enjoyed it, but for your debugging pleasure :).
Oh my gosh this is diffucult! Maybe I'm juste bad at stealth games lol. It took me about 15 minutes to get to the stage of eating big fishes, and when I saw that the game became more difficult agter this, I was like : Oh my god so that was the easy part hahaha! My best score is 24! Other than that, the graphics are really good and the game feels very polished, with options, menus and animations! Good job!
Classic Fish eat fish grow game( glad to see someone went with this idea) , with a stealth twist. Very nice
