A fellow metroidvania fan, eh?  Nice!

Mechanics were all there and everything made sense from there very first playthrough.  A little rough on the fingers if you're on keyboard.  I bet this would feel so good on a controller, though.  (Not in a position where I can check if there is controller support.)

Just a touch of minor tweaks to the feel and I think you have the start of a really nice vania.  Cheers!

That was fun. I'm looking forward to where you take it ( if you decide to :) )

Glad you like it. I’m very much planning to build game around these mechanics. Don’t have a solid idea on the story yet though.

this game has very fluid animation and a good jump, i dont really enjoy the feeling of the walljump, but as someone who has tried to program a walljump on godot, its quite hard so good luck!

Thanks for the heads up. And yes I’ve struggled with wall jump, still looking for ways to improve its feel. Specially when player too close to wall, player immediately sticks to wall. Also jumping opposite the wall is still challenging. I try to look for a solution if don’t find anything I’ll change the mechanics from wall jump to wall climbing.
