Love the look of this little guy. I wish I was better at wall-jumping - I'm terrible - so it made it hard to progress. Still, I think this game has some promise and I hope you get to continue it.
thanks for the feedback. I’ll try to come up with some better approach for wall jump.
Fun game! I would love to see this with more polish
Thank you for playing. I’ll continue to work on this game for further rounds
Cool game! It has everything for the task and more potential. Just want to say pogo jump keys are a little bit hard to push as a feedback. Good luck!
Glad you like the game. I’ll look into the pogo jump inputs. thanks for your feedback.
I like it so far. I always liked game where you keep discovering new ability and use themto explore freely around the world. Only "negative" I had was with the movement of the wall jump, but after some time playing it become more natural
thank you for the feedback. I’ll try to polish things more in further rounds.
Fun game. I think you got the mechanics down pretty good and think this game has a lot of potential.
Thank you for your feedback.
Love this game so far. I saw someone complaining about the movement, but I don't remember where, but I like it. Snappy isn't a bad thing in my opinion. Love the art for the character, too. It was neat discovering and unlocking new abilities to progress. I can't wait to see where you take this!
glad you liked the game. The current character was supposed to be a temporary one, as it was slime from my previous unfinished jam and its easy to create sprites for this one. I think if I qualified, I’ll come up with a story related to slime. Thank you for the feedback.
This is an incredible prototype. Smart level design, smart powerups, it's great! The only notes I have are for the camera, and the controls. The camera would really benefit from some drag. It's a little choppy right now. It's also kinda tough to press S, J, and space while trying to navigate with AD. Otherwise, I loved this!
Thanks for playing. controls are based on PSX2 emulator. It use to have WASD for movement and IJKL for other action buttons. I’ll try to implement customizable controls in future. I’ll check for the camera too. thanks for pointing this out.
Very simple and short exploration game. I just couldn't get over the weird keycombos, what is so wrong with placing common keys right next to the movement keys?

A fellow metroidvania fan, eh? Nice!
Mechanics were all there and everything made sense from there very first playthrough. A little rough on the fingers if you're on keyboard. I bet this would feel so good on a controller, though. (Not in a position where I can check if there is controller support.)
Just a touch of minor tweaks to the feel and I think you have the start of a really nice vania. Cheers!
Thank you so much for feedback. Currently there’s no controller support, I’ll definitely implement it in future. also I’m looking for ways to improve current mechanics.
Also wish you a very happy birthday. have a great day.
That was fun. I'm looking forward to where you take it ( if you decide to :) )
Glad you like it. I’m very much planning to build game around these mechanics. Don’t have a solid idea on the story yet though.
this game has very fluid animation and a good jump, i dont really enjoy the feeling of the walljump, but as someone who has tried to program a walljump on godot, its quite hard so good luck!
Thanks for the heads up. And yes I’ve struggled with wall jump, still looking for ways to improve its feel. Specially when player too close to wall, player immediately sticks to wall. Also jumping opposite the wall is still challenging. I try to look for a solution if don’t find anything I’ll change the mechanics from wall jump to wall climbing.
