Fun game, really relaxing. Really impressive that you mixed up the art style on every round too!

This was very creative. I really liked that the way the scales moved changed based on what we were balancing

I had a lot of fun figuring out the criteria for each level! The different art on each level was also a nice touch, and made it very exciting to progress through. Great work :)

Fantastic art, even across the many different styles.  The humour and item descriptions where also wonderful.

Perfect length for the game jam too.

Loved it!

Fun but it was difficult to figure out what things weighed in a few levels. Best part of the game was weirdly the little screens at the end of each level. Good job.

The only flaw of this game is that it is just too short... ;)

Developer(+1)

you're too kind T_T thanks for playing!

Good Game! I like how different the levels were

Was not expecting how different each round would be, and it had me really thinking about my choices. Really great take on weighing different things, nice work!

For a first game jam, it's super impressive!

Besides that, it's really cool and thought-provoking (Does one life hold as much weight as the universe?). It's very cool ^^ I also really liked the music, really smooth and fitting the game :3

If you want to check out our game, feel free to do so :3

Thank you! :D

Love the art!, and bonus points for completing the game so fast! :0. Great work on the little the descriptions and simplicity of the game, it was still really enjoyable since the logic was sound and followable like a good point and click. Definitely a one and done but i still had fun even if it was for 5 minutes. Good stuffs!

Great game! The different ways of judging the "weight" of things along with the different art styles to match made it really interesting!

I love the uniqueness in levels, it makes every challenge very interesting. I would love there to a few seconds "balance period" before completing the levels; sometimes I accidently complete the level, and whilst in the next level screen, my scales were clearly not balanced. Really fun game, great work!

Developer

thank you, that's great feedback! I would have loved to also add an animation or something that makes the balancing moment more satisfying. will have to save some time for the next jam. thanks again for playing!

Composer from "Crescendo" here! I really enjoyed this! I loved the music and really loved the artwork of the game. I actually played through the game twice because I realized that each item had a little note attached to them and I wanted to see what they all said lol. The level with all the words scared me haha because it seemed impossible at first, but I solved it with trial and error (twice).

Developer(+2)

oh i'm so glad you went and read the descriptions! :D in the text level I tried to convey that wordier descriptions were heavier. And again, amazing work on Crescendo!!

Ohhhh that makes sense! Clever idea and thank you!

pretty unique, reminds me of those old newgrounds fan games that used be filled with references to other games and media that were popular at the time.  love the art; I reckon it must've taken up a great deal of the time put into this game.  my only criticisms are that the items bouncing off and not stacking properly can be a bit frustrating, and that the paper level was quite clever but a lot of the others seemed kinda random.  still, an enjoyable experience.

thank you for playing!!

D*nald trump and B*rack Obama???

Very nice game, very responsive controls.

Developer(+1)

... I had to think about what you were referencing LOL, the likeness is unintentional! (Assuming it's the "Karen" and "CEO" from the 4th level hahaha) Thanks for playing!

I mean T*ump could also be the orange. And Obama's kinda tall so banana I suppose?

Submitted(+1)

That was cute, very relaxing and enjoyable to play.  Each level had a unique them with aesthetically pleasing art~
