Wow!, great submission, cant believe this is a jam game. Top notch gameplay, art, UI 5/5 Everything works well together, great job.

This was a lot of fun and super polished! Absolutely loved the music and the art/UI is very nice. I found it pretty tough starting out, but once I got a stronger ship it was so satisfying destroying a bunch of asteroids. Really well made, especially for a 96 hour jam!

Developer(+2)

thank you for playing and yeah we want to work on the balancing.

An interesting idea with a very fun gameplay loop. The game starts out very difficult, as the constant movement and random asteroid spawning result in A LOT of collisions, but as you build the ship more it gets a lot easier. It was quite satisfying to go from dodging and weaving through asteroids to blasting everything around me with a barrage of missiles. The art was very nice and the music and sound effects resulted in a fitting "Space" feel.

thanks for the feedback!!

Nice game, this is a very cool and polished game, and you should be proud! Great work here! 😊

thanks for playing

This is really polished! I love the UI design especially. I also love the gameplay, but I feel like the first several minutes into the game were a bit confusing to me. Wish the learning curve could be smoother. After all, a really cool game!

thanks you and we want to work on the balancing!!

this is really well done!

Awesome game! I loved the gameplay, it`s very adicting, but I think that it can be a bit unfair at times, i wish it was more forgiving. But the idea is great, is fun build a big ship full of upgrades. Good job, it really works it the theme aswell.

Developer

Thanks for the kind words! The difficulty could have definitely been more balanced given more time. Appreciate the feedback!

I love how deep the upgrade system gets! Picking when to buy components, when to upgrade them and when to upgrade the ship felt like a meaningful decision that would have an impact on the outcome of each run (for the record I'm all about as many lasers with as fast a fire rate as possible)

Would have loved a slightly more zoomed out camera, or perhaps even having that as a purchasable upgrade - I tended to avoid the thrusters upgrades as I didn't want to risk travelling fast without knowing what was just offscreen.

Music is fantastic, I am so here for the lush pads and beats :)

Developer(+1)

Good to hear that you enjoyed playing and customizing the upgrades! A better framed camera is definitely one of the biggest areas of improvement for the game! And I agree, the composer and SFX artist did an awesome job. Thanks for playing and providing feedback.

This game is stunning. It's so polished that it doesn't feel like it was made in a game jam. The UI is awesome and the gameplay is really fun. Congrats on the work!

Developer

We're glad you enjoyed the polish and UI!

I like this idea a lot, getting to choose where to mount things was nice and added depth. Bit on the harder side to start and to get first unlocks, so took multible tries to even test different parts, but extra thrusters and weapons felt so good and impactful after brutal start, so kinda liked how much they impact the gameplay. Zooming out would be nice idea to plan movement (maybe it could be on upgrade choice :D). Also liked the art and its modularity was fun. Great job!

Developer

Thanks for playing and providing feedback! Those are definitely common suggestions to consider for the future, especially tuning the difficulty and camera FOV. Glad you liked the upgrades!!

at the end of a game jam I'm always so impressed with how much visual quality everyone can put into a game in such a short period. The game is challenging but still very well made. Great job!

Developer

Thanks for reviewing!

Such cool art and beautiful UI! Amazing job:)

Many thanks!!

This is an impressive entry! It feels quite polished and has a lot of content.

I feel that at the beginning the difficulty curve is quite steep. You die too quickly to asteroids, and so don’t have time to experiment with controls or get to know the UI. So it’s easy to miss the fact that you can put more stuff on your ship or that you can upgrade it.

But once you get a hang of it, it becomes really fun.

I also encountered a nasty bug that locked me in the position from upgrade screen. I probably managed to double-open it.

All in all, it’s an impressive entry.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for letting us know about the bug! I'm happy you enjoyed the game, we will definitely look into making the opening easier if we decide to continue development. Good luck on the jam!

Developer

Thanks for playing and the feedback!

We are aware that the difficulty curve is too steep and should be more gradual in the future.

Unfortunate you experienced that bug, its difficult to know what caused it in such a system-heavy game.

Glad you liked playing it!

What an entry! A lot of content, the only bad part, is that the controls where a little difficult to get used to and the upgrade system was a little confusign. But, very and I mean VERY great entry!

Developer

thanks a lot for the feedback

Looks great, feels great, I just have a bit of trouble with the UI and the gameplay. No real complaints though, great job!!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

Really liked the idea of the game. Had some trouble getting into the controls, but after some time i got the hang of it. UI was a bit confusing at first though, had to figure out that i actually can upgrade my ship. Despite that i think you did a fantastic job. Keep it up!

Developer(+2)

Thanks a lot! We will improve the UI!

Cool little game, love the art style. Is the enter build mode keybound?

Would be very grateful if you tried our game!

Developer

Thanks for playing! The build mode can be entered by pressing TAB on keyboard or clicking the open shop button.

Submitted(+1)

A little bit confusing UI/UX, but overall a nice experience! I wish the upgrade built on top of your last ship tho so you don't have to remake everything

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Saving the current layout will be for sure an area of improvement.

Submitted(+1)

Nice game! I like really like the visuals, but the shop looked a bit confusing for me :(

Also i didn't really like the fact that when i upgrade i loose all of my past weapons and rockets, i don't know if maybe im missing something and you actually can readd those

Pretty nice overall!
