Good concept and great integration of the theme! My only suggestion is to improve the tile hitboxes since it was a bit hard to click on the correct tile. Overall great game!

I would appreciate it if you played and maybe left a rating on my entry:)

I really like the concept ! I think it definitely would have paid off to improve the camera motion though, its really the first thing people notice about a game once they start moving around.

nice work ! :)

What an interesting concept! The hitboxes for clicking the islands where a bit finicky, but other than that this is a great idea for a game. And the aesthetic is very whimsical. Also nice easter egg on the settings

I had a bit of a hard time trying to understand what I had to do. There was a lack of ingame instructions that got me very confused: at the beginning I tried many times to jump to the island with the boat, but kept dying. Took me a while to understand that I should click on the far away islands haha. Maybe if it had like an arrow pointing to it, telling you to click, it would be clearer. At level 2 I got lost in the forest: I went past a mini-tower and got stuck on the trees. I think this game has a great potential though, if it were a 1 week jam for example.

Hi sincere gratitude that you tried the game. I know that there was quite a bit lacking from the game (ingame instructions was the least, good camera working was even more). This will be adressed in the next version. The towers are basically locations that should not get you stuck (but I did manage to do that myself as well) but rather places that knights will attack you (but it will give you profit to beat them). I am sure a one week jam would have done plenty for many games though :D I will definitely release the game in a more polished and complete manner (with around 5 to 6 levels, with different difficulty and the last 2 being massive as I had initially envisioned (with the mechanics I had on Friday, check my Postmortem for the reasoning). I am sorry though that your experience wasn't wat you expected, nor what I hoped it would be for most players. All feedback will go into the backlog and be processed into the game if possible.

Nice concept, good level design, maybe the camera can maybe to with a little less "lerping" :)

I liked the concept, the camera definitely needs some work it seems like she has some horizontal movement which makes it feels weird, and it would be nice if it had a tatical camera where you can take a peek from a top view angle.

Developer

Great advice...will look at that. And yes, next update the camera will be fixed.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of this one. I was confused as to how this ties into the rotation theme, since all you do is move pieces of land around. I also felt the visuals were a bit plain, and didn't hold my attention for long. Lastly, I didn't like how the game played. It felt a bit too simple, and it was too easy to lose. In fact, I had no idea how to beat it. Overall, I think this game needs a bit of work for it to become truly special.

Thank you for trying it out still. Not every game is for everyone. There are quite a bit of issues with the current build I can not dissagree.  Thanks for your valuable feedback.

I like the concept, although I had the same issues with the camera and the colliders. But it was an impressive amount of work for 48 hours, and nothing that cant be fixed fairly easy in a more relaxed time frame.

Definitely one of the more creative and original game mechanic ideas I’ve seen summitted in this jam. Great job!

Developer

Thanks, I have seen better games but thank you for having an open mind. I hope to iron out the issues in colliders and camera setup.

Took a bit to get that clicking the houses made the roads around them rotate but then the idea got quite engaging. The camera and feel are kinda off but the concept is really good in my opinion. One can easily imagine the pc lost in a vast, mysterious, intricate archipelago of rotating islands. Makes for a good plot!

Beautiful idea! But it hard to play due bad usability. I hope this game will grow after jam!

The game concept is awesome but sadly the buggy camera and collisions ruined the experience for me. Made it to level 3 and started falling through the ground. Maybe after the jam polish the project a bit more because this game definitely has potential for a puzzle platformer and I'm excited to see what comes of it!

Camera controls could be improved but its a cool concept

Developer

Thanks for playing. The camera is one of the most annoying things (besides the colliders that I had to rework). Next update I will put raycast instead of mousedown and also disable the collider on the tile you are standing on (though in at least one situation it is almost required to turn the tile you stand on,)

I really enjoyed playing the game, it's very creative!

Cool idea. but Camera was weird and i kept falling inside the castles in third level. Probably needs more time. 👍

Developer

Afraid so. The colliders on the pathways are annoying after the last update (just before submitting). I have the solution, but will do that in a week :D Thanks for playing.

Really cool idea and nice take on the Theme! Aside from some picking and collision bugs it was a really awesome game!

Developer(+1)

Thanks...the collision is a huge issue indeed. I wanted to disable the colliders when entering a tile, but didn't have time to do that last part (the colliders on many items have been halved, so they couldn't get in the way...but still...especially in the city it is terrible.

Liked the idea. It's a very cool concept. It could use a timer or something to add a little challenge on completing the levels.

The camera movements are a bit chaotic and too fast. made me a bit dizzy .^^

Appart from that, very good job :)

Developer

Thank you for calling it 'a bit', you could just say A lot. And yes, perhaps the timer is an idea...have been pondering over the way to reward the player.

cool take on the theme! camera movement is a little disorienting, but the overall puzzle aspect of it is really neat! Good work!

I'd appreciate if you could play/rate my game as well! :)

Developer

Yes, the camera is Cinemachine, but badly setup....aka little time. Thanks for the reply and time you took to try the game. Hope you made it into the castle. :D
