How does your game represent "Power"?
While traversing through the old unit, you need to establish electrical power through many different ways to advance! The magical power at the end of the unit is a good motivator for the main characters as well! (we also recommend visiting our store page for warnings about softlocks :>)

Really cool puzzle mechanics, I love how each character has a different thing to do. Great creepy atmosphere and surprisingly long too. Cute character models!

Developer

thank you, that means a lot! (especially since POWER_PLANT is one of my favorite submissions ive played so far), which character was your favorite? :))

Submitted(+3)

I liked the first person view and solving the puzzles! Quite an ambitious game for a week, really well done!

Developer(+1)

thank you!! we tried to be as ambitious as we could be!! we appreciate your words :)

(+2)

++1 , Worth giving a shot. Atmospheric and cleverly written puzzles so far. Will be revisiting it soon. Developers are friendly and active :)

Developer

thank you for playing it on stream! ill definitely be swinging around your stream again! thank you!!

Submitted(+2)

solid story, love the more extreme lighting conditions. Imo the models could use some normals maps or something: lighting is rather flat in rooms with lots of ambient occlusion. a cel shader would also look really nice. other than those nitpicks, however, great game!

Developer(+1)

thank you! we didnt have enough time to polish the game visually, but we aim to make it look better in the full release! thank you for your words!

Submitted(+2)

Awww this was really cool, but I also got stuck before being able to see to the end! Some cool puzzles and art for sure, those glyphs help me feel like the dumbest person alive, haha

Developer

where did you get stuck at if you dont mind me asking? was it a  bug or a solution thing?

Submitted(+1)

I guess I can't really elaborate without spoilers, so other readers beware!

After the room with Roy, the following puzzle area seemed bugged in a couple ways... The wall south of the first lever and wall opposite it could just be walked through (I only tried AFTER flipping the lever, wasn't sure if it was always that way). There was a destructible wall near a leaking pipe I was able to see but simply could not punch nor shoot, no matter where I tried. Eventually I found I could grab a fuse through the northernmost room by clicking over a wall from the hanging gear room, but it still couldn't help me beat the room, even out of sequence. :(

Developer

SPOILERS DONT READ IF YOU HAVENT PLAYED:

so the ospulvis punch is a little iffy... to fix it i think you need to hover your cursor over it then punch! that should fix it! if you wanna skip back to where you were at use the 0 key to skip the rooms until youre back to where youre at! i promise you the ending is worth it :3 i hope you can finish it!!

Submitted(+1)

Thanks to the 0 key and cursor placement, I was able to complete the adventure, horray! :D

Also, confirmed. Those walls around that lever are not solid. But fun game, thanks!

Developer(+1)

thank you for playing!!

Submitted(+2)

Aw, found a game breaking bug on what I'm guessing was the last room :(  Wasn't sure what to do and I clicked one of the pipe puzzles that I had already solved and it just locked me out of any interaction.

Beyond that, really awesome job with the puzzling, perspective, and aesthetic.

Developer

awh im sorry to hear about that! thats one of the two softlocks we're aware of.. if you ever wanna finish the game you could use the 0 key to get back to where you were!! i promise you the ending is worth your time... thank you for playing anyways!! :)) do you have a favorite character?

Submitted(+1)

Feels really polished and smooth to play. I liked the character models a lot.

Here's a vod of me playing your game: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2373375091?t=01h46m45s

Developer(+2)

the stream was a blast!! thank you for playing it! do you have a favorite character? :O

Submitted(+1)

I said I sucked at them on stream, but I liked Ossy's puzzles the most and punching walls down was also a lot of fun!

Submitted(+2)

Very cool perspective switching! Nice use of your 3D environments, well done!

Developer

thank you!! i think it does make us stick out more! :))

Submitted(+2)

I really like the idea of needing different characters to solve puzzles, and think this could even be leaned more into for the puzzles, as it kinda felt like you would just have to switch for whatever it was rather than requiring the multiple characters sometimes. There's a lot of dialogue and character development which is pretty great for a jam game. A surprising amount of content, great job, and great game!

Developer(+1)

thank you!! we didnt really get the time to flesh out the concept fully and ended up having to condense a few puzzle ideas... but im glad to hear criticism! thank you for your kind words as well!! :>

Submitted(+2)

Crazy puzzles, that kinda remind me of the poptropica days.

Developer(+1)

POPTROPICA IS SO GOATED!!! thank you!

Submitted(+2)

Loved this puzzle game, took a surprising amount of time to beat as there was such a large amount of content for a jam game, but also didn’t feel like it was dragging on as new mechanics kept being introduced. Overall excellent base for a full game. I’d say it’s my favourite so far :)

Developer

thank you so much for your kind words!! we wanted to cram as much content as we could within the timeframe, and we STILL cut out half of our initial plans... stay tuned for the full release! :)

Submitted(+2)

the characters and dialogue were very entertaining, and I really like puzzle mechanic and switching perspectives! great work!

Developer

glad you liked the characters!! do you have a favorite in mind? :) thank you for your words!!

Submitted(+2)

wow. the art, both 3D and 2D are impressive. i enjoy the dynamic between the characters. the puzzles are fun. i would die for fluff.

Developer

thank you!! people seem to love Fluff and Roy the most currently... im glad you enjoyed their dynamics, mostly because we put so much time into their dialogue! thank you for playing!

Submitted(+2)

Spooky vibes and interesting mechanics.  Impressive work.

Developer

spooky vibes and interesting mechanics... truly the ying and yang of the world... THANK YOU!

Submitted(+2)

I'm SUPER impressed, you have to teach me how to do those awesome low poly. Very atmospheric, very interesting puzzles, it's beyond me to understand how you guys did it all in just 10 days!

Developer(+1)

the Lofty Era Low Poly Workshop is being held on February 14th at the Madison Square Garden... JKJKJK, we're very flattered!! it was a lot a lot A LOT of work, but we managed to squeeze in a serviceable game, haha. we had to even cut out half of our content just to make the deadline! we appreciate you playing it!

Submitted(+1)

Oh my, do you intend on doing it as a full game to put all your ideas?  You guys have great potential.

Developer(+1)

we do! we expect to pick it back up after the gamejam streams! we should be putting it up steam for an affordable price too :)

Submitted(+2)

super awesome characters with excellent 2d and 3d art, cool puzzle ideas, overall great time!

Developer

thank you!! characters were a priority for us haha, im glad you enjoyed them! who was your favorite? :)

Submitted (1 edit) (+1)

oooooh rlly tough question,,.,..,., im gonna say ospulvis :3 rectangle pupils r so cool,..,.,

Developer(+1)

i love Ospulvis!! hes always been one of my favorites :)

Submitted(+2)

really nice work! super impressive for a week-long project, and the character switching/perspective shifting combo made for a really satisfying mechanic. nice puzzle design too.

Developer

thank you!! we almost didnt make the deadline haha, if we didnt get the 1 hour extension, the game wouldve been broken and unplayable... we appreciate the compliments as this is the first time we ever attempted a puzzle game! thank you!

Submitted(+2)

Yo! This is good! Great style, very cute. The gameplay is very fun, good job on the Jam!

Developer(+1)

thank you so much!! the style was lowkey based around hello kitty and stuff like that, we wanted to make cute simplistic characters that get put in an unnerving environment... im glad you enjoyed it!

Submitted(+1)

Aaah, The first thing that came to mind was Animal Crossing, but you really nailed the aesthetics :)

Developer(+1)

the little voice blips were 100% inspired by Animal Crossing, so you're not too far off! thank you for the kind words!

Submitted(+2)

Love the art! Love the vibes! Love the puzzles! Well done!

Developer(+1)

thank you! King Donkey is already an arcade classic btw..

Submitted(+2)

fun puzzles! i love the interaction between the 2 characters having a first person and 3rd person/top down view

Developer

switching between the 4 characters was always part of our vision, im just super glad we managed to bring it all together in 10 days! thank you for playing!
