Spinning boss, Spin to take on random bosses, Player can spin attack

Boss, tiles maps, arena, sword and the gun was all made by me.

I like how the upgrades you get depends on the boss you defeat, and sometimes are good upgrades, other times feels like a downgrade lol. The beginning wheel felt kind of redundant as could just respin it whenever (and rigged, gave me same boss 5x in a row lol). I also dashed outside of arena once, and then couldn't move as boss came and finished me off.

it appears that there's many abilities, but when i got tornado it was just the starting sword again, or dark vortex and debris just being the pistol again. i played on controller and shooting my gun also made me dash unless i stood still, which was jarring at times. the wheel of weapons is a cool idea! i wasnt sure how to dodge the laser attack on the spinning mauler. thought the boss designs were interesting. nice entry c:

Some of the abilities were not implemented. So that's why it was switching to the default weapons. Dash and shoot being on the same button is definitely a weird issue. Have to test it on other controllers. Thanks for playing and the feedback.

Very fun game! Didn't get how the abilities worked at first but then noticed they were on a wheel and realized. The bosses are interesting, but some have attacks that seem very hard to dodge (like the one that shoots lasers very fast). The abilities collection is a very fun aspect of the game. I feel like the starting wheel is a bit unnecessary, because you can spin until you find the boss you want.

The lightning is definitely overpowered, it removed like 1/3 of health per hit (but I don't know if it was because I spamclicked).

What a spinny game!! Couldn't help but max out your star rating for use of theme, it's everywhere! The somewhat simple art contrasting with extremely high-quality sound effects was a bit jarring, but it gave me that old flash game feeling, which gets nostalgia points. Great job overall!

I liked it! I can see a lot of effort put into this game, and I appreciate that you let the player get used to the controls before facing the boss. The dash feels really satisfying, and the idea of the gun always pointing at the boss so you don’t have to aim manually is quite interesting—I see a lot of potential here. While the project clearly fell victim to the deadline, I don’t regret the time I spent playing it. It was truly an enjoyable experience, so thank you to the developer! Great job!

A very interesting game, I wanted to unlock all the weapons, unfortunately they don't have a different attack (probably it hasn't been implemented yet I believe) but in itself the game is good, I really liked the fights, I think there are certain attacks that should be easier to dodge but overall I liked the game. Congratulations on your game!

fun game. i think the spin on the boss selction was a bit useless since it had no impact other than waiting a while until you spin on the boss you wanted to fight against. combat was entertaining and fast enough, boss HP just right.

Once I found out you can use SHIFT to dash it felt a lot better to play. The game is simple to understand and easy to get into. I had a good time trying out all the different abilities the player can have. Keep up the good work!

Interesting concept, the visuals aren't of my liking but they work, pretty neat mechanics that tied up very well with the concept of the jam, the sound effects are kinda repetitive but it really helps telegraphing the attacks, I felt outside of Weaver the bosses where a little bit easy.

Also there is a way to cheese the game spamming dash and melee attack at the same time where you don't receive damage if you are inside the boss.

I like it, and I see a lot of potential in it's ideas.

Nice work!  I enjoyed your interpretation of spin on the bosses.  I feel that the hit invulnerability time on the bosses were a bit too long, though.  The gun shoots faster than the invulnerability windows, so shooting any faster won't do much.  This would also mean that the melee attack is less effective since you could miss entirely because you recently hit the boss with your bullet.  Nice work, overall!
