Cool game! It's a nice take on the survivors genre. I liked the active abilities and weapon use - that made a nice change to the usual passive weapons. I think the choice and use of the assets was really good too.

Really fun game. I had a good time playing it.

Gameplay feels good, but at one point I spend some time looking for a boss.
Some kind of indicator where to find him would be nice.

It's a little janky overall and I seem to boost myself out of the level a few times. It's still playable and would love to see updates. Great foundation to build on

Really hard to switch weapons on the touchpad, because it cycles too fast between them.

I really liked your game a lot! Visually its an A+ for me, music was great, theme was awesome. I think you really have a great foundation here as far as the weapon types and their variety. I think I was just having some difficulty with the long cooldowns on each weapon attack. I do echo some others here with the sentiment that having an alternate way of swapping between weapons would be great!

Thank you so much for your comment. Regarding the cooldown of the ability, we thought the game would be too easy in the beginning if we reduced the cooldown. Throughout the game, you get some upgrades and among these upgrades, you get ability haste. So, you are ‘forced’ to play the game and die to see all the features of the game, because you don’t lose your stats (damage and ability haste). As for the swap system, ask the other developer - he takes some pride in his swap system, hahaha. But eventually, we will probably modify this.

I really liked the main menu visuals. Too bad it wasn't also in the game. 

Music and sound really fits the game. However the attack animation/action takes too long for execution. Also remove unused icons (weapon 4 and 5) if they can't be used, the scrolling methode works very well!

Fun take on this genre! The upgrades felt satisfying and the difficulty seemed quite well balanced. The map was quite big and at one point I could not find the boss anywhere so I had to stop :( Maybe adding an indicator to the bosses location or making it come to you could help!

Thank you so much for taking the time to test our game, we appreciate it. In the original idea, we thought about implementing a thunder lightning effect for area damage, but we struggled with time constraints and bug fixes. However, there is a way to do area damage, but you’ll need to figure out how. 😉

I really enjoyed the aesthetics and gameplay of your project! I had a lot of fun devising strategies for the different enemies for example I found myself prioritizing the harpy/bat mobs because I was struggling to dodge their long-range projectile attacks.

I love roguelike games! I am playing on a laptop and changing weapons is quite difficult. Maybe you could map numbers to slots? Nice job!!

Watched my boyfriend survive for waves and waves, then couldn't make it past like 40 seconds myself...so unfair... but, real talk, very nicely done! The game looks great, and the sword swinging was really satisfying when I actually managed to connect a hit.

Yeah, I barely did any of the work on this project. It's very much Annikatt's game. She came up with the idea and made it all from scratch, and did a really amazing job with it. We didn't hear about the game jam until the 30th, and I wasn't able to contribute much. I pretty much just offered feedback, did some bug fixes, made the volume slider work, and made the end screens skippable with the space bar to make the replay process faster

Nice entry! I see 5 weapon slots. Plan on adding more weapons? Would like to see a weapon with a shorter cool down.

Yes, we are planning to add more features and weapons. Regarding the cooldown, you need to collect coins, which will open a panel with a choice of three upgrades. One of those upgrades is ability haste.

A unique take on the survival game with how you trigger attacks. I wish the attack cooldown was less felt pretty easy to get overwhelmed. And using K key to navigate the menu when using WASD control configuration is a little awkward.

Really fun! 10/10 would use machine gun-shotgun-bow again

Played for 33 minutes, only stopped because of hunger and a duty to play other submissions.

Shame the bow's the only really good option, but it's fun how broken it gets with attack speed boosts

I actually do really like the sword! Especially in the first round or two when your attack speed is still pretty slow. The primary issues with the sword are that it bugs out a bit at higher attack speeds, you get outranged by the numerous ranged enemies pretty hard, and your character gets bogged down by dead enemies that haven't disappeared yet.

I use the sword until I get too bogged down by projectiles, and until my attack damage is high enough that the bow one-shots. Then from there, ramping attack speed on the bow let me get to the 33 minute mark pretty easily, like I said.

Imo, round 1-3 is sword>magic>bow, maybe 3-7 is bow>sword>magic, then beyond a certain point of attack speed, it's bow>magic>sword

I'm going to print out a picture of this bat just so I can shoot some more arrows at it. That thing was the most frustrating NPC I've encountered in a while! Great game, had a Daggerfall vibe that I loved and the music was great. My one improvement would to be stretch out the curve for enemy spawn. It starts out very easy and within the first minute becomes virtually impossible to survive. It'd be neat to lengthen it out and be able to enjoy it some more
