It's so polished for a jam game. Well done, I loved it!
Really enjoyed the elemental concept and execution was on point too. Loved the art style and controls were intuitive. Had fun playing it.
The art and the creative mechanics combined with its excellent level design make this a really great game overall!
SUPER impressive work on this one! Great animations and level design.
This is another winner! It was INCREDIBLY fun and rewarding to solve the levels! It didn't FEEL like a puzzle game (I say this because I generally don't find puzzle games to be fun). It's so unique! I only wish the white color had come into play more. The run animation was great! Well done! Oh and you had so many levels!
Other feedback:
This moment I put the box too far and made the level un-beatable. That felt like it was not intended. I would argue that a puzzle game should never have un-beatable states. It's not a very pleasant experience.
I got stuck on this level for WAY too long because I couldn't tell this pitch-fork looking thing was supposed to be lit up. Any other jam game and I would have quit, but thankfully this was so fun I HAD to figure it out.
Here's my time on that level. lol
I didn't get what that picture was at the end, but I beat it!
And thank YOU for making this game!
Thank you for all of the great feedback! This is definitely going to help us with the post-jam version of the game. A big thing we're going to fix is the readability of the game, making symbols on the yellow door and purple crate more apparent plus putting glowing outlines around all interactable objects. I also have a plan to fix all of the soft locking, so hopefully that will no longer be an issue in the post-jam build.
The picture at the end was a little Easter Egg, I'm trying to do a shared universe between many of my games this year and that symbol is one of the things that helps connect it lore wise. I don't want to give away any more then that.
Thank YOU for playing and giving such amazing feedback!
Thank you for all the feedback! We will be sure to address all of this! I really appreciate you taking the time to try out our game! Thank you!
Very good idea, very functional and interesting mechanics, very good art, I liked the cutscenes too and the idea of joining all your games in one universe (if I understood correctly). The puzzles are very good and intuitive but I felt that having powers and the boxes didn't fit very well and the two types of yellow doors confused me a bit, but good work here, great game!
Thanks for the feedback!
Yup, this is connected to several other games I've made this year, I'm glad you enjoy that!
The dev team is aware of the issue of readability on some objects and have a plan to fix it in a post-jam version by making symbols more clear. Thanks for the great feedback!
No problem! :)
Nice! I played it to the end.
The puzzles were a bit lock-and-key, but it was still pretty fun to untangle their solutions. I especially liked the twist in the last level, it was a good payoff.
The characters and animations reminded me of castle crashers.
I'm also pretty interested in the idea of this being connected to the story of some of your other games. Cool idea!
I really loved the idea!!!, cute characters by the way
In my opinion this is a game I would play with friends and family!!
Good job!!
Really awesome concept! I wish the different abilities weren't all 'shoot something', but I understand that there was only 48 hours, and for the time you had this is an impressive amount of content and polish. Nice job!
Super super cool! A remarkable amount of polish and production value for such a short jam. I like the mixing and matching elements, it's a fun interpretation. Way to go!
Great idea to join elements ^^. First time I see this in submissions. Nice
I like the natural conclusions of what the characters would be combined. Great idea and great execution
Cool idea, I like how they can join to form a different colour
This is surely a gem. Also I hope to see some harder levels, and the game has so much potential. The levels right now are long but still a bit straightforward.
Theres LORE!? I can't believe this only took two days, it has multiple long levels, a good story, cute art, good music. Maybe the bricks could use a bit more work because they have a gap between them that looks weird, but I love this game.
This is top notch in all fronts. Great art style, very polished and very fun gameplay, and also a clever concept with great level design plus intriguing story. There are surprisingly lots of contents here, awesome job!
Not sure why thunder + fire = grenade, but its ok :D
I enjoyed that one a lot. Very cool concept!
It is similar to my entry :D super good job on the puzzle and level designs!
like you said, great minds think alike lol. Thanks for playing, I am glad you enjoyed it!
This game had my brain working more than I expected, great design! I also found the movement, shooting and controls easy to handle, especially for a jam game. My only big problem is the mechanic of switching between different characters that can access different doors has been done a thousand times, luckily the merging mechanic kept it reasonably fresh. The art was nice, and the music was good, especially towards the end. The cliff-hanger at the end caught me off guard! All in all, this was quite an enjoyable game!
Finally someone that hasn't been deceived into believing that water and fire are opposites or something stupid like that. That's a rare sight. Your characters move a little too quick though.
yeah that is a bug currently with our HTML5 build. We forgot to turn off V-Sync which makes the game super fast for some people on the web build. The downloadable version should be correct but we will have that fixed in the post-jam version! Thanks for playing!
