Amazing game! I like the slow ramp up of mechanics and difficulty in puzzles, with great graphics and sound design. The puzzles are well made too. Nice job!
I think an issue is that for one section I had difficulty aligning the laser with the box as pressing the keys slightly make it go too far either way. I had to adjust everything again before trying once more.
Thanks for this feedback !
The game is super well executed and looks great! Congrats!
thanks 🙏
Loved how you introduced the new concepts so smoothly to the player, it was like a well polished tutorial level! Looked good, too.
Glad you liked it ^^ thanks
Great looking game, and authentic audio. Love the presentation!
A strong introduction to the core game mechanics through simple levels which cleverly familiarise the player with the game's concepts.
Some pointers
- in what I think is the 3rd room, the 'wheel' looked like a dangerous object to me. Maybe because it was spiky, but I thought I had to avoid it. It didnt take me long to figure out it was safe though as I had nowhere else to go, so not too bad!
- 6th (i think) room with the 2 lava pits has an unforgiving start ledge, i fell straight into the lava. doesnt matter though - quick restarts are excellent and this game is super strong at getting the player back into the action
overall, excellent quality and really something to be proud of for only 48 hours of work. the level design is very strong, so huge congrats!
A huge thanks for this feedback !
Thanks for taking the time to play :)
Level design, art, music, and concept was great! One of the best games of this jam I have played. Bravo!
Thanks, really nice comment I'm so happy people liked the game :)
Clever mechanics! Really like how new spins on the concept kept being introduced as the levels progressed. A shame that there probably wasn't enough time to fully explore these mechanics. Lots of potential for fun and satisfying puzzles.
Yeah I would have done more levels if I had more time xD :p
Thanks for the feedback :)
Wow, really liked this one! Fun mechanics. Small bug I found was if you get zapped while rotating a laser, you can keep rotating it while dead before the levels resets. Not a big issue though, hah. I liked the small details like dust particles on jump and land animations. The pacing of mechanics being introduced was good (lasers, lasers that destroy computer, rotation, and timers) and having them slowly introduced helped me not get overwhelmed. That said, I think the last level where you just need to run past several timed lasers was really easy and maybe one of the more challenging levels should have been the last level. Overall, great game and impressive that it was made during the time constraints!
Huge thanks for thoses great feedbacks :)
Yeah I was planning to do more levels but you know... time :p
I feel you there. My first commercial game was a 2D puzzle game and when getting started I remember thinking "this will be so easy since it's just 2D graphics and a bunch of puzzles". How naive I was, haha.
Really nice pixel art, and great mechanics! nice job
Thanks ^^
Good game! I passed all the levels with pleasure. Cool graphics and nice puzzles!
It would be nice to have control on WASD
Thanks for the feedback !
Cool game! I enjoyed the learning curve of the game, naturally introducing new things felt organic and helped to keep the game super engaging!
If you wanted to improve, having WASD work as well as arrow keys is always a nice touch. In addition to that, some sort of indicator showing where the laser will land while rotating a box could help to clear up where certain things are pointed.
Overall, great game!
Thanks for thoses feedback I'll defintly remind them if I do a post-jam version ;)
A really cool idea, I like the way you up the ante and teach the game's mechanics all at once. Good stuff!
thanks for the feedback :)
Very effective gameplay. My only struggle is with the spacebar that I use to jump instead of the up key. So it can be a bit frustrating. However the game is nice and feels good!
Yeah the inputs were definitly the one thing I should have make different
Thanks for the feedback and the comment ;)
Nice game with great graphics. I love the smooth gameplay.
thanks ^^
The game was really cool, i had fun times playing it, but definetly needs some more levels. If you have some free time, can you check out my game too?
I'm planning to make an "extended" version when the jam end ^^
Yeah I'll definitly check your game ;)
Really fun game, I love the way you introduced and then built on the different mechanics. Possibly consider adding volume sliders and maybe a flash or something to show the lasers are coming back on, but this was a really clear game to understand and I had a great time playing it.
Thanks for thoses feedbacks, I'll defintly add some settings to the post-jam version ;)
Nice logic game! Would be nice if "jump" mechanics would work better, but it still worth it!
Would be nice too if some objects (like boxes) would break by laser in feuter patches. Would be a bit more tricky :D
Yeah I'll probably add this possiblity to the post-jam version ( if I'm motivated enough to do one :p )
i like how it can rotate the laser with the wheel, cool!
thanks ☺️
Un petit jeu bien sympa avec du potentiel, qui répond au thème et agréable en main. Bravo pour le submit !
merci ;)
Really intuitive "tutorial", introducing concepts one-by-one and leading right into the first "actual" level very nicely.
Simple but nice and consistent graphics!
The controls are a little unintuitive at first (I tried WASD, and kept accidentally pressing space to jump), but it works out. The control hint overlay is nicely done and prevents that from being too much of an issue.
On the first level with the movable block, I pushed it against the laser and trapped myself. Took me a minute or two to figure out how to pull it, almost closed and reopened the game.
I wish there was more of the timing stuff like the last level, mixed with the puzzles.
Overall, very fun! Took around 10 minutes total. Would definitely play more levels.
Thanks you so much for the feedback !
I'd love to extend the game and make more level but unfortunately I didn't have the time :p
