A proper QWOP-style torment, well done!
I love everything I hate about this game. No notes. Thank you for subjecting me to this.
I played the first version and the new one. It was good before, but now it’s excellent. Very enjoyable and stylish. Congrats! 👌
Love the idea and the charm. Gonna be honest, I was surprised to see that our games are pretty similar in overall goal and art style, yet very different in terms of control. Moving the arm with the mouse is really tricky, I'd love some way to have more control over it. The actual building is nice and the levels are all cleverly done, I just wish the arm didn't rotate around almost unpredictably at times.
just tried yours, it's good! you're right that they're weirdly similar yet still have their own unique vibe.
Pewdiepie would have a playlist on his channel dedicated to playing this game in 2013 with thumbnail photos of him with steam coming out of his ears <3
Very relaxing game! However, controls are quite tricky and it was quite challenging for me to assemble miniatures. But I like the idea, it's very unique and interesting!
Such an interesting and challenging control scheme.
I love the idea, it is very challenging but satisfying to finally finish the miniature!
Can a goofy physics based game where it is hard to move objects with grabbers be too hard? I don't know.
I got the joke in the first minute or so of playing then it got really frustrating, especially when the objects are rotating around in my hands and I need to get the correct orientation.
The visuals and style are VERY strong though. Really liked the aesthetics and that kept me playing even when it felt like the game was fighting against me.
I think that if the controls were a little more precise or if it wasn't so easy to mess up your progress I would have loved this game.
Really well-executed mechanic :)
Unfortunatey the game is unplayable with a trackpad. I did play a bit with a mini-mouse but with no desk etc to put the mouse on it was a frustrating experience outside of the intended game frustration coupled with enjoyment.
This is a really cool idea and the art style is fantastic. I wish I was able to play with a controller or similar.
Thanks I hate it! ... Best rage game I have played in a while!
Super cool concept that is rather unique. I have not seen anything else like it during the jam. I think the snowman might be my new mortal enemy. Despite it in theory being an intentionally obtuse and hard control system, I never found it frustrating. If anything, I found it incredibly relaxing. I have no feedback other than i will see that snowman again.
Well done!
Great concept, well polished experience! Movement can be a bit slow and the rotational aspect of the grabber takes a little getting used to, but I think it works!
Liked your concept, good job!
My favourite game of the jam, I super enjoy it. Relaxing, fun and interesting
everyone who complains about the controls have a skill issue, just get good lol
in all seriousness i did enjoy this :) and the art is very simple but quaint
Really fun! Hard to play as it is to pronounce!
Oh ! I saw your screenshot on the discord so I noted to search for your game !
I really liked the concept. Challenging but chill, It reward slow movement.
The best moment was when I knock down my snowman with the glass glob, 10/10 will cry again.
Also very cosy art style, enjoyed it !
Very Challenging, kinda rage inducing (in the best way possible). I think the slowness is what makes the game charming, it's supposed to be slow and methodical. Would be cool to see if it's possible to implement two claws like in the thumbnail (which was what attracted me initially), and have one of them "lock" in place for more fined tuning.
This reminds me of A little to the left, which I believe was also a gmtk jam game? congratz for nailing the same feel :)
