Thanks for submitting your game to the stream! If you wanted to look at it again in the future heres the vod timestamped to your game
Thank you for playing it! :)
Using the scales felt very good, made playing around and experimenting feel just that bit more fun! A lot of subtleness used to make a very good game!
Simple and straightforward game! I liked that the controls were very precise!! Played at https://twitch.tv/hedge_in <3 vod Day 3 @ 5:14:15
Thank you for playing it, sorry I missed the stream :)
The art, sounds and programming for this game are super good! Its a simple concept but actually has a lot of potential, especially the infinite level! I've seen better ideas flop because of poor execution. But you took a simple idea and made it super good because of the excellent execution, Good job, I loved it!
Okay I loved this: cute graphics, super smooth controls, perfect sound FX. Amazing job :)
A direct interpretation of the scale mechanic but I still have fun. Short little levels and I love the physics, cute and easy to play. Also like the sound effect, definitely filling in the simple mechanic of the game. Good job finishing this in just 72 hours! :)
Love the style. Responsive and adorable.
I love the physics, it is fun to throw things around and hear their sound effect and just watch them spin and bounce and all that stuff. I like the references...it just missing some music :D Good job and also, smart on you for switching ideas with enough time to make another game.
⚖️
Fun idea, simple and no major issues! Could do with some more variation of gameplay (maybe multiple scales that affect each other?) but hard to fit within the timeframe we’re given. But enjoyable regardless!
Oh that gives me a cool idea, a small scale to put on the big scale, but you also have to balance the small scale! :D
Very simple and polished, well done!
Very fun game! Style is very good. I also have a balancing game if you want to check out!
A fun puzzler for the game jam and spot-on with the theme of the jam! I loved the sound effects and great art choices too (loved the avocado and especially loved the references to other games)! Great job!
Great game. I love the simple art and the leaderboard is a really cool idea. well done.
Fantastic work! Such a simple concept, so well executed I couldn't help playing for a half hour. I could even see this being expanded out into some kind of strategy/roguelike sort of thing. Great job!
cute and cozy game. Nice touch with the leaderboard! (tho i didnt make it haha)
simple yet fun!!
and did i see the cube from portal?
saw your progress pics in the server
also would appreciate if you rate my game
Yes, and there's a cake too :)
Really nice game. The infinite mode is a bit hard, it might be worth pausing the timer while the scale is balanced, since right now it's really a 27 second time limit.
Yeah, I realized that too late to fix it, I really should have made it a 60 second timer. I'm hoping to significantly improve the infinite mode for the post-jam update, and the timer is of the first things I'm going to fix.
Simple game but nice presentation. Love the little unique sounds and references.
Cool little game, nicely done.
How did you get the scale to work with the physics? I tried early on in the jam to make a scale using rigid bodies and pin joints but it was buggy as hell; I ended up scrapping the idea because I couldn't get it to consistently behave.
To be honest, it just worked, the only adjustment I made was to increase the angular dampening a bit. It did go crazy one time when I made an object way too heavy, so maybe weight is a factor in how buggy it is.
