How does your game fit the theme?
I interpreted the "Scale" part of the theme as musical scales, and then extrapolated that idea to building musical rhythms as that was more interesting to build puzzles with. Your factory also scales up as the levels progress. As for the "Built" part, well, you build a factory. Pretty simple.

5/5 on this one! Seriously good work with this one! As a sound guy it was fun to figure these out!

Love the concept, so cool to have a rhythm that isnt based on mechanical precision. Really great twist on factory games, and great interpretation of the theme! I think the difficulty ramps up a bit quickly, but the puzzles are really awesome, and things I have not seen before. Awesome work!!

An easy 5/5 for me. This is such a unique concept, and it really feels like you nailed each and every aspect of it. The gameplay is fun, and it's super satisfying when you get a contraption working properly and the correct beat starts playing. The artstyle is also super appealing and is the icing on top to a really fun game!

I'm a huge sucker for rhythm games and I loved this one . The art and the mechanics are on point . Well done

Best of luck :)

As someone who has ZERO rhythm I found this game surprisingly easy to grasp! This is also an amazing twist on the "factory" game genre.

Great game!

Man,  this is such a cool game. Like, when I opened it for the first time, my wife looked at it and said, "Wow, this is cool!"

I'm pretty terrible at musical games, so I struggled a bit, but the concept and execution were really cool and well done, especially in this short of a time frame!

Really fantastic game, one of the best concepts I've played in the jam so far! It's very difficult for me as I'm pretty bad at zacktronics games, however, as a drummer, the rhythm part is quite clever and intuitive. For such a short time frame this is incredibly well planned and fleshed out, with great puzzle design. Overall, excellent entry!

This is the kind of game Zachtronics would make, which is a glowing review in my book 🎉 That said... I think that for us less-musically-inclined people, having a few more tools to help diagnose what's going wrong would be really helpful. Here's a few ideas:

  • Being able to adjust the tempo, so I can hear things at a more comfortable pace;
  • Keeping the goal card on screen at all times, and maybe even including a little dot that moves along with the beat when you hit the play button;
  • Having the speaker emit a green note when an instrument reaches it on time and a red note when it arrives off-time (or some other visual indicator of your timing success, since adding colors might clash with the beautiful color scheme!);

I'm sure there are other ways to help indicate success/failure, but these are a few I could think of. While I couldn't finish the game on my own skills, this has the bones of a great game. Stellar entry! ⭐

Nice play around the theme :) The game style is really good too. Could be a game i can buy! GG

While I love the idea of using the music meaning of scale.. this is rhythm not scales-

Either way, this is honestly a fun game, would play it for enjoyment not only to rate

I think you executed your idea perfectly! cool music, cool sounds and sfx, very comfy.

Nice entry man

Woah, the idea of using "scales" to mean musical scales is genius! Really well executed and I also love the color palette. Love the building aspect, just overall really enjoyable game! Thanks for making this, very fun!

I loved the idea! It was pretty difficult at times but I enjoyed it a lot! Great work!!!

Color palette is absolute eye candy with interesting concept to boost. Music is not my biggest forte so I don't really understand what to do in the first play. I can't quite do anything once I lost the goal screen because I am just not good at music. But the idea is good and would be really suited to be expanded as a full game. Kudos to the developer!

I'm a musician who is friends with a lot of musicians, so I kinda forgot that most people are normal and don't know music as well lol. Could definitely use a better feedback loop between player and level so they know what they're doing wrong. Thanks for the feedback!

This is a super cool idea, and a really interesting concept. But I think the goal just isn't quite readable enough.

If you had something on-screen during gameplay that actually had a little counter that moved through the goal from left to right, at the exact rate it needed to go, so you could very intuitively see what you actually need to do, it'd be incredible. At the moment though, it's just a little too tough to wrap your head around.

This game is right up my alley, unfortunately I didn't understand how it works, even after reading the game's page and clearing the first level...even if I don't know how :/

It also doesn't work well on a 21/9 screen, but I sorted this out by creating a shortcut to the executable and adding " -screen-fullscreen 0" at the end of the target field. to put it in windowed mode.

The art style is great and the game seems to be fun though, congratulations :)

I've considered making the game on "Musical scale" concept in the beginning. ended up not going for that idea but I'm glad to see someone else made it and it's quite nice. art is cute and mechanic is interesting.

The colour palette is awesome. Gameplay is unique, could be really interesting to expand upon it. Good work!

Oh woah! Color palate is really good and makes the game stand out a lot from everything else! The puzzles are super fun too! Great job all around!

Very nice theming!

Very cool idea :D!
I love these kinds of puzzle games where you get lots of tools to build your own solution.
It did took me a while to understand what beat I needed to produce, and that it needed a specific rythem based on the first bell. Would've been nice to see some feedback that showed if the incomming beats where correct or not.

But super cool and creative :D
