First of all, would like a windowed option since it full-screened on the wrong monitor immediately, but secondly, wow this is a good time. I love puzzles that are open-ended and require tons of thought, and this game has that in spades. Only thing I'd say is to make the scoring a bit more lenient and the map a bit more detailed, it felt incredibly specific and hard to parse the exact locations of things. Otherwise though, very very cool, would absolutely love to see this concept explored further.

I love this idea, it really scratches that exploration and puzzle solving itch. One issue I faced was that the scoring was a bit finicky and overly punishing, but I think that could be easily fixed with some balancing!
This is beyond the scope of the jam, but I would love to see a full game with multiple levels with different environments. I think that could add some interesting variety in navigation due to varying terrain, obstacle, and landmarks! It could also allow for some nice environmental storytelling!
Well done!
We definitely didn't do a good job with the scoring system balance.
You're spot on with the ideas of different terrain/obstacles, we even planned for some environmental variations that would make the player think a little bit more outside the box to calculate certain distances but ultimately we didn't manage to execute this in time.
Thank you for playing!
wow wow wow, this looks so good. the polish on this is immaculate (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)
Sorry, I've forgotten at this point! But I know that specifically, the scale scores were almost all 0/2, but most of my position and rotation ones were 2/2. Getting the scale correct on any perimeter landmarks was definitely easier because you just had to line things up with the map's drawn lines.
Maybe something like this would be a bit easier if there were grid lines or something similar to help show how proportionate everything is? I know that would kind of defeat the purpose though, and isn't very pirate-y, so maybe not that specifically!
I like this take on the theme. It took me a few tries to figure out the controls to manipulate the map pieces.
That's a really nice game! It's very cool to find everything by yourself, but my score was terrible.
Everything about this entry is very polished! The art, the sound, the UI, and even the itch page! Really impressive stuff from everyone involved. I liked the concept of mapping the small island, could even see it made into a bigger game where you go to various small island to map them and uncover mystery.
I was a little confused by the step counting, is it by sound? Also couldn't figure out how to "beat", if there is way to do that?
Overall great job, y'all should be proud.
That's a beautiful game! Great graphics! Good concept. Well done you guys should be proud!
Gorgeous work with the graphics, but I have to admit that it was a little hard to get everything right. Maybe I'm a noob cartographer, though haha.
I can only imagine if you try to expand this game to have sea exploration as well. How hard (an awesome) could this be, in a true One Piece style?
Wow, what an awesome concept for the game. Pretty creative interpretation of the theme, and the art assets were real crisp too :D
Highest i got was 26/48, i swear i had all the positions right but at most i would only ever get 1 position point, it has to be absolutely perfect but that feels impossible. But despite that, I had a really good time with the game and will be leaving good ratings. When i found the rum, the pirates of the caribbean fan inside of me got really excited and shouted something to do with rum, nice work!
Yeah, we royally messed up the position scoring threshold, it's incredibly hard to get them right even when you know where the pieces are supposed to be. I think the scale and rotation scoring isn't as strict.
Thanks for taking the time to play through the game a couple of times, we really appreciate it!
Absolutely loved the concept and the style. Those cursed circular rocks that took me forever to find.
MY 1000+ HOURS IN SEA OF THIEVES WILL MAKE THIS GAME A CAKE WALK MAWHAHHWAHAHAHAH
Very cool concept! I'm very bad at cartography & navigation, so I didn't get a lot right! But it's a very very unique idea with the prompt! :D
I think I finished the map, I hit space but nothing happened, I'm not sure if I did it wrong or not xd
Apart from that the graphics are awesome, that shading fits everything perfectly!!
Also, I loved the fact that I'm a dog and I can see my paws
Great job! :)
Love the tropical graphics! Cute concept and we thought about maps scale as well during early development; so glad to see the concept being executed by you very well. Might be quite hard to get to the distance on exact point, but I understand that this game is short in time. Good job on the game!
