How does your game fit the theme?
We had the player control two different characters of different scales: one a tiny mouse, rummaging around a cabinet, and the other a normal sized human. The player is switching back and forth between two different sizes/gameplay.

Very creative approach, loved both the style and the gameplay! The transition between the two play modes is very well made: the change of music and the music is itself is that touch of "wow effect", very well done!
I think it's very difficult to make a good crafting game, where crafting is at the heart of the game.
However, your game could fit nicely as a mini-game within a much larger game that has crafting in it.
You have many good ideas, that, IMO deserved more development!
The platforming part is a nice idea, but it's repetitive and lacks challenge.
The crafting part is cool, with all the ways you can manipulate the ingredient. But unfortunately, it fades quickly because we are making the same ingredients over and over. The issue here is that you don't have any systemic gameplay. That is, anytime you want to add content for the player, you have to code a feature.
Ways to introduce systemic gameplay could include: fine tuning the cooking of an ingredient with increasingly tight margin, procedurally generated recipes, or stuff like this... But I agree it's very tough to make under sharp time limit.
In all cases, you can see you definitely put some hard work here, and that's great :)
Good luck for the jam!
Nice entry - the graphics were adorable, the music loop was awkward as you could hear the loop.
I wish there was more interaction between both sides, they feel a little disjointed and less interwoven - perhaps for example the potion maker after stirring with his spoon needs to place it for the mouse to run over for example.
the platforming was ok, but no real challenge and quickly becomes busy work that distracts from the fun of making potions and playing with the recipes and tools.
I liked the chopping and grinding but the cooking was odd and if I were a potion maker I would get a new heat source :D having the cooking be automated but able to burn would have meant that the mouse elements had to be faster to gather more ingredients.
I really enjoyed discovering how to process the ingredients and it was rewarding to deliver the potions - wanted MORE!!!
Well done
Fun idea, lovely graphics and neat music :) The mouse gameplay felt a bit simple with no challenge really (and the scale in the mouse environment didn’t actually weight things! :’( ). Overall it was a nice experience
Good Idea. Giving a Recipe Feedback and every time you interact with something or you do something to make potions player should get some sort of feedback. Also the movement is cute but a bit messy at times

The visuals are really nice. The idea is nice and unique. Is there a win or is a constant loop of making more potions? Maybe I stopped playing before the game ended. Great game though!
:D
This game was adorable and really cosy well done.
The platforming with the mouse was very cute and grabbing all the ingredients. The lower section of preparing them was fantastic as well, potion craft vibes for sure. I didn't see the need for two different buttons (E and space) with chopping and grinding and I had a bit of frustration where occasionally I would grind the herbs and it would produce a sort of slime(?) rather than the ground powder. I really liked the heating element though, needing to move it around for the active flame.
Overall this is a great little game with awesome cosy vibes. I really enjoyed playing it and look forward to seeig any updates. Well done.
The slime is produced whenever you mess up or make something we don't have a sprite for. That can happen if you try to grind something twice, for example. Originally, it was intended for you to be able to both grind and chop ingredients at the same time (hence the different keybinds), but that had to be cut for time. Thanks for checking it out :3
Love the artstyle! I like how you switch between the potion making and gathering sections. It took me a while to figure out how to get the melted mineral, but nonetheless it was great :)
I’m so envious of your art! Great game with a really unique aesthetic!!!
Great artstyle! wish there was some more visual feedback after completing a potion, but other than that very fun!
Loved the art! Would be nice if the items in the platformer section have an outline so it's easier to differentiate from the background.
The combination between platformer and potion making simulator could be made into a full game. The only thing I didn't like was the melting minigame.
