I like a lot of the ideas here! I think tighter controls and more forgiving hitboxes (especially on the big spike) would make it feel pretty great.
Thank you for your feedback !
I like the aesthetic you're going for, and the gameplay was honestly pretty smooth! I think the game is, however, severely lacking in polish as far as things like inconsistent pixel size and some weird interactions(specifically the spike hitboxes). All in all, a fun game that just needs a little more time in the oven.
Thank you for your feedback !
Really interesting concept! While it could definitely use some polish, I enjoyed playing it nonetheless. With some puzzles and better graphics, I feel like it could be a great standalone game! 💖
Thank you for your feedback ! I appreciate the kind words hehe :)
Whew. The QWERTY-Confusion thing took me for a spin there but I got it eventually.
Cool concept! On the first level I found the jump a bit too janky for those block jumps so I just glitched through the blocks.
Another thing - the audio outputted was positional? you move away from it a bit and you can't hear it anymore...
Overall great for your first entry!
Thank you for your feedback ! Sorry for the inconvenience caused by controls i should've thought about that. For the audio i really didn't pay attention to that hahaha ig u're right because it felt like the sound disappeared at the end of the level and i thought i didn't loop it. I will fix that as well ! Thank you again for your comment :)
Nice concept.
Thank you for your feedback !
Cute game, and I actually liked that you can move through tiles. Maybe it could happen only for some tiles in the game, some hidden tiles, and it could be part of the puzzle.
Thank you for your feedback ! That is a good idea, maybe i will add it later on !
Nice game! I'm personally not a fan of having to break the physics and move through tiles, but other than that the mechanics are good. I feel like you could do a lot more with this.
Thank you for your feedback ! Yes there is so much to do, i will try to improve the game and work on it !
Fun concept. I enjoyed this one :)
Thank you for your feedback !
This is a good game. Maybe the control instructions were wrong or it's just me? However, I have enjoyed it. Well done!
Thank you for your feedback ! Yes if you're a QWERTY user you would find some difficulties, sorry for the inconvenience !
Congratz on your first entry! I really liked the concept of the spells, next time you can try out and make it so that your character has more contrast then the background itself, it will help with the clarity and intention!
Thank you for your feedback ! It's noted, will try to make it better next time :)
The speed changes with the size, and the fact that you have to be the same size as the box to move it is very creative :)
Maybe add a bit of coyote time though, making some jumps seemed a bit hard, other than that, very fun, and very good for a first game :D
Thank you for your feedback ! I will take some notes on that :)
i really like the idea of having to be the same size of the box to push it. also spells were really creative! nice game! ;)
Thank you for your feedback !
I like that you included a scale indicator UI in this one. That is something I have recommended to a lot of other similar games. I also like how you allowed the player character to walk on different layers of the platform at smaller scale.
I did find some issues; the large projectile you have to scale down, for example, seemed to jump around when you scale it, so instead of making it small enough to go under, I just had to time it so the transform position changed in a way that it was behind me. I also managed to win the game somehow by jumping on spikes!
Overall, it's a solid effort with an interesting use of the theme. I think it's a really difficult design problem to solve to make these types of games fun and not frustrating at various scales.
Thank you for your feedback ! For the big projectile I didn't find time to fix that one, since it would have taken me a good amount of time to look for the problem and all, however for the spikes problem it seems like the scripts for the book and the spike got mixed up, i didn't see that one coming since it worked when i tested it. I will try to pay attention more on such mistakes, and thank you again for your comment !
For your first game it’s a nice little platformer.
As someone who uses an AZERTY keyboard myself but you should probably prioritize QWERTY next time or use something that maps to the location of the keys on the keyboard rather than to the keys itself (idk how that works in Godot)
Also as other people have already said, between movement, scaling and potions you need 3 hands to play this, you should probably put the potions on left/right arrows or A (Q on QWERTY) and E. (Also space to jump is probably better)
Other than that changing the size of objects in the level is an interesting concept, good job!
Thank you for your feedback ! I agree that i didn't pay much attention to controls so i will try to make them better next time !
Great job for the interesting concept and for putting this together! Hoping to see more ideas being expanded in the future!
Thank you for your feedback !
I just played it, and I have to say, I really like the ideas here. Especially that you have to adjust your scale to different objects to be able to interact with them. That's super unique; I don't think I have seen any other jam game do that so far. I also really like the player's idle animation.
I only really have one criticism, and that's that sometimes you can walk through blocks if you are really small.
Besides that, I really enjoyed it, and I am interested to see how you expand it (if you plan to keep working on it).
For a first game, this is incredibly impressive. Good job!
Thank you for your feedback ! There are few bugs i didn't have time to correct, i will try to correct them after ! Thank you again for your nice comment :)
Really great for your first game! The idea and structure are strong! There's some things to fix and refine as in all things, but really good effort! It's a submitted video game in a game jam! :)
Thank you for your feedback ! I appreciate the kind words :)
I'll avoid repeating what others have mentionned to you as I agree with the other comments. I just wanted to take the time to say that for a first game jam game it is promising! The idea was nice (our team went also for the player scaling concept) and put in a 2D platformer there is lots of potential here. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for your feedback ! I appreciate the kind words and encouragements ! Will try my best in the future :)
Solid concept!
The art overall works together, so good work on aesthetic!
You mentioned you would like constructive feedback, I'll do my best.
As I see you have a lot of feedback already, I would like to give the feedback that you have different resolution art together.
So your character is high res (looks good!), but then you have a lot of elements/objects that are pixel art (also good). That causes a mismatch visually (bad together).
I'd recommend to stick to one end, so just pixel art or just high res to keep art cohesive.
For your first game/jam, this is great!
You made a unique idea into life and I hope you will always be proud of this milestone, keep it up!
Thank you for your feedback ! Yes i intended everything to be pixel art however i couldn't make/find a good pixel art mage, so i had to pick up that one ! I will try to use one type of art for the next time :)
Good call on grabbing what you have to!
Here's a CC0 resource you can use for pixel art

Thank you for your help ! I appreciate that !
I had fun playing, but it seems like there are a few bugs and glitches. With a bit of polishing, I think it could become a really enjoyable platformer puzzle game! :)
Thank you for your feedback ! Yes there are few things to polish ! Will try to fix them !
