Love the unique art style and the interesting gameplay mechanic. Great work!
A nice and casual pikmin-esque type of game, it's nice to just chill and see how the AI moves around. Would definitely like to see this expanded more as I am a huge fan of sim games. Congrats on finishing the jam !
Controlling the camera was really smooth and it was fun retrieving the different objects. I enjoyed the music and characters as well. Some visual feedback on the right-click/task assignment might make it a bit easier to know where exactly you're sending the corralled beeples. Awesome job!
Such a nice relaxing artsy experience. I adored the menu design you went after, it was so inspiring! Great entry!
Really love this game, very relaxing to just watch the ai run around and play the game, the art is really nice to look at although sometimes it's a little hard to see the small coins and stuff but really nice game for the time you had.
Very impressive concept! Art and presentation are also enjoyable! Cool game :)
Wow it realy cool idea. I`m lovely your art!
lovely artwork! Beep! Most of the time I didn't know what todo... so i spammed clicks.... Maybe I misread something but, the controls were unclear or not precise. Beep!
yeeeeeeeeaaaaahhh, the controls made sense in my head so I never set aside time to actually explain them in game, lol. Glad you could still find some enjoyment though!
I love the little details you put into the AI (like them getting hungry and such). Really unique idea and supa cute.
Thanks for noticing! <3 A large majority of my time (honestly like 60-70%) during the jam was spent on the AI, but it was Summer who wrote the various thoughts (there's 3 variations on every possible action!)
Really cute and delightful, loved it!
I was a bit confused by what the red cylinder did because they didn't seem to go to it, but my beeples ended up finding it so worked out either way!
Ah yeah the red cylinder simply selects units, but it won't interrupt their current tasks. If I had more time, I probably would have changed that to automatically interrupt so they respond more quickly :P
This was different and unexpected! I didn't understand what I was doing until I did, and than I didn't once more, and finally I did haha ^^ I've particularly enjoyed the art style and the palette, it was quite relaxing.
It's curious in a good way :) Nice !
nice art and sound.
but a little bit annoying
Neat game, reminds me of Pikmin in a way. While the use of the theme is a bit lazy, it was entertaining to play and the presentation is amazing: the colors are very pleasing, the simple music loop is hypnotic and the sounds are just cute.
A very beeple game! The vibes that this game is emitting is fantastic and the art is very amazing and well drawn. Would definitely beeple again <3
love the art.
gameplay took me a second to grasp but once i did it was really nice to send em to pick stuff up!
i think this one's of the special submissions of this jam, even if it doesn't fit the theme that well
5/5/5 Would Beeple again
I will review now: Beep. Bebiiip. Biip. Beep. Bebiip. Bebiip. Jokes aside I absolutely adore the sound effects and the art style! Sadly the idea behind this game is something I don't get warm with and I did not know what to do.
Also the text was not readable at all at game start. There is some potential with the cuteness in mind. Maybe a more refined Beeple sim? 2/2/5
Stay crunchy.
oh, um what was wrong with the text? Did it glitch on your browser? We haven't seen that happen before
And the goal is to find the vase and get a high score! It's supposed to be a chill game where the AI does most of the work if you let it
The text was white on blue. Bright colors don't go with bright backgrounds or if you understand this a bit better: Not cold on cold or warm on warm. And if the beeples do everything, why bother as player to do anything? Also, rethinking now, I didn't even see any form of the jam's theme within the game - that missed me completely.
A few tutorials on colors should be enough to set you up for the future. Even I don't understand the ful spectrum but there are awesome color palettes that do the majority of job for you.
I stil think the game has potential. Going for some form of visual simulation story telling with barely needed player input.
Stay crunchy.
Well, it's a sim game, largely inspired by Ant sim and Pikmin. In Ant Sim, you don't really have to do anything but you can speed up the progress of the game, just like this game. Like sure, you could leave the game running for an hour and let it beat itself, or you could intervene and beat it in 10 minutes, it's up to you.
Also the Beeples are rolling dice every time they decide on a task to do, which is like every 30 seconds!
Ah, chances are that I didn't see a dice roll happening since I was zooming around getting all the beeps and boops, heh. I understand the fascination about ant-farms and simulations doing similar things but within the gaming industry rarely a game of that kind makes it out of a niche within a niche. Although I remember a fish-tank game in which you could watch fish, feed them and such things.
If you reform around 'zen' that actually could be a stress reliefer and that might actually be a good purpose for this kind of game.
Stay crunchy.
Very unique game. The art style reminded me of PaRappa the Rapper/Paper mario. Very nice. The music was cute too .
