Whenever I try to extract the Win32 files from rar I always seem to get a notification for several corrupted files. I've tried repairing it, but that doesn't seem to help at all.

This is an issue because itch.io has a bug in their upload-via-dropbox functionality that seems to corrupt rars, so it's a roll of the dice whenever we upload a new version; in the future we'll do the straight file upload so this shouldn't happen anymore. I've fixed the others this time, but apparently Win32 was still borked - I'll reupload it. Thanks!
ok im using windows 7 home premium
i extract it using winrar (nvr had any issues with it)
the .jar file starts loads and then just crashes the application just doesn't even start i grabbed the 32 bit version as im on a 32 bit system i can provide the crash log from the .jar version. is there an email i send the txt log and the screenshot of the msg i get when i try to run the application

Solved by creating a shortcut to the "Tales of Androgyny.jar" file and runing it as admin. The exe file doesn't work for some odd reason.
I am also having this problem. I am running version 0.1.24 on a Galaxy Tab 2 with Android 6.0.1. In the map view, the game does not respond to pressing or dragging anywhere in a roughly-inch-width band on the top and bottom of the screen. However, the lower-left buttons do respond to taps about an inch above where the buttons appear to be. Since there are filler bands on the top and bottom of most other screens, I imagine those bands just are not being rendered in the map view, stretching the screen and pulling the buttons' apparent locations away from where they actually are. Oddly, the selectable locations on the map itself seem unaffected.
In 1.23, I checked the pre-load option and restarted the game, only for it to crash during pre-loading around 20%, a message saying "Couldn't load file: battle/ForestBG.jpg" coming up.
Edit: Tried a second time, with a different message coming up saying "Couldn't load dependencies of asset: enemies/GolemFuta.png"
Also I tried deleting and redownloading the game to try to find a way around it, but it still has the pre-load option ticked I guess, so unless if I can find a way to change it through editing a config or wherever it may be, I effectively cannot play at the moment.
I am stuck fighting the ghost forever because my mana is empty and the ghost's mana is also empty. So we're both casting spells with no mana. Also when Ghost mount or does oral on you, the ghost stop immedietly(this may be intentional but if it wasn't now you know). So i can't "sex" my way through it either.

Tried both x86 and x64 versions, ran the .exe and .jar, tried the shortcut method, and admin rights. Same error during any run. Other Java based apps/games (e.g. via the .jar) work fine.

Same error on Linux, fixed it by downloading and extracting whole Java Runtime from website.
Extract it to "jre" folder in the game location, you should see matching folders inside as "lib", "bin" and whole bunch of text files.

Hello, I'm seeing is a tiny issue that I think is not meant to be that way, I'm playing at the Win64.rar (and noticed this since like 2 or 3 public build ago), the thing is that the save function is not really working, whenever I exit the game it auto-saves whether it's on game overcase or just few steps before where I did save, making me start over again. I'm running it in Windows 10 home, not sure what evidence I can provide since there's no error box or something like that but let me know if there's any useful to you, thank you in advance.

the armor addon must be reworked. it makes the encounters almost impossible.
i tried a thief ( my favorite class ) and can't even touch any foe i encountered( wereslut, unicorn and brigand ) whatever i tried.
i tried a warrior after that, with 7 point in strength. i couldn't beat the wereslut, she killed me and she lost only 5 HP
tried a mage. the only way to beat any foe is to use incantations
foe's armor give them invicibility when it should just reduce the damages
and if the only way is to put 8 point in strength, so why making 6 classes? especially when all attacks use the strength ability
the new update is totally unbalanced.
other issues ( from the previous updates)
the third encounter with a wereslut make a game over, what ever your stats are, and whatever the result of the fight. it makes no sense. a winning fight shouldn't give a game over.
as the golem encounter require magic, you should add a magic perk, that could replace well rounded
the bunny attack the character every step, even after we pay, that makes no sense. she should leave after gaining back the money
You can break the opponent's armor - not sure what problems you're running into. The enemy armor scores were reduced in the next version, but the durability remains the same - so in either case it should be possible (even with a thief with 3 Strength) to just break their armor. You can use the Armor Crusher skill for this, but honestly it's possible with any of the stronger attacks like Power Attack.
Not all fight are won by reducing the enemy to 0 HP - this is a porn game, after all. This was changed in the next version - and even in this one, it's not regardless of your stats - beating the Werewolf with a (current) strength under 5, she'll leave you alone. It's only for characters with 5+ (now 8+ in the newer version) that need to defeat her some other way to avoid getting knotted by her.
There'll definitely be magic items and other ways to fight the Ghost - the Golem fight doesn't require magic.
for the golem, it's not for the fight, but the control and other options that require at least 3 magic points
and for the armor, the problem is it's not possible to wound the opponent before breaking it.
i tried to fight a harpy, and used what you recomanded ( armor crush ) and destroyed the armor, but after, even without armor, this attack didn't dealt any damage.
the problem is high attack destroy the upper armor, but can't deal damages until the lower armor is destroyed.
the opposite is true, obviously.
and middle attacks don't destroy armors, nor deal any damage as long as any piece of armor is still wore
this made 3/4 of the attack skill useless
my favorite attack is uppercut, and it deals no damage from now.
you should make some attack to deal damage, whatever the armor level is, fit heavy payback after.
in the previous version, i found the fights too easy. now i find them laborious
edit: in fact, i found the real problem: foes don't care about the character's armor, and inflict direct wounds
That's just not the way the combat system works - middle and high attacks both hit upper armor, and if an enemy's chest is bare (either because they had no upper armor to begin with or it was destroyed), the attack isn't affected by any armor, even if they're wearing leg armor. You don't have to destroy both. And enemy attacks are just as subject to armor as character's are.

Загрузите из игры патрона, учтановил, но столкнулся с проблемой, игра загружена, но 100% появляется черным экраном и идет на рабочий стол. На рабочем столе окно игры остается, но когда нажимается окно, игра загружается на новом и так далее по кругу.
Что бы это могло быть ?

Android Tablet - it can be really hard to click on the map locations because the spot to click is never where it should be (could be left, right, above, or below the dot).
It's not just the map locations but almost every button isn't where it's shown to be (usually the button is shown to be lower than where you need to click).
Error on linux "org.lwjgl.LWJGLException: No modes available"
This is caused by lwjgl 2.xx not properly parsing odd xrandr display mode lines. Example of accepted modeline "1920x1080" where as it would not accept "1920x1080_60.00"
User end solution :
Create a compatible display mode using xrandr. First use "gtf" command to find correct modeline settings and edit as needed. Then using previously mentioned modeline use "xrandr -- newmode", "xrandr --addmode" and "xrandr --output" to create and use the mode.
Dev end solution:
Does not seem to be easily fixable without switching to lwjgl 3, since problem is probably rare individual use of user end solution would likely be optimal.

Hi, I'm playing the last version out and when I hit the save button the game reports that the game is saved, but the name of the save slot doesn't change and whe I exit and enter again my save file is lost.
I tried redownloading the game and the bug persists. Is it only me or has this been reported before? If so, how do I fix it?

Oh hey guess I found a softlock! Getting Ms. Werewolf into the missionary position and then wrapping your legs around causes you to only have the option to receive infinitely dropping the werewolf's stability deep into the negatives. I am actually gonna see how far negative this goes shortly but as thats really not important I thought I should share the softlock itself
Edit: I thought I should mention a few details, running mostly a seduction enchantress build. I am on the latest free version. I was intentionally looking for this sort of thing so I was engineering situations that might be unusual. The neither character is taking damage so I am unable to die. The process largely is just a boring loop, but eh I was kinda expecting this sort of thing when I went looking for this stuff.
alright so i have been following you for a long time and not complaints so far but when your 0.1.28.0 public update came out i havent been able to get either the win64 or win32 files to extract and when i extract any other rar file other then ToA it works fine can you please check if its corrupt or if something else is wrong
Missing libjvm.so:
On launch, the script can't find libjvm, and so fails. The problem is that the jre directory hasn't been copied correctly, at least for the linux install.
Workaround:
For the current version, make sure you have opendjk-8-jre installed and then do the following.

It happened when backtracking I ran into a tile for "strange person" an accepted their proposal.
Not sure how to get the save file for the game but I made one immediately before it happened and I can reproduce it every time.
Made a profile so I could post this, but the apk build I downloaded (off itch.io) for the April 1st update reset my game to a much older version of the game.
It had the old map, no class-specific costumes, and the werewolf sprite wasn't even animated yet.
Which is disappointing, because I was looking forward to meeting the mermaid. :'(

Actually, I managed to get it working. It was odd: I couldn't extract it via Stuffit, and I couldn't run the game through Itch. But downloading and installing the game through Itch and then going directly into the files, finding the .jar and running that seems to work.
A bit of a weird solution, but it works, and the game runs with no hiccups, so I can't complain. It's pretty fun so far, well done. The 'bad endings' can be a bit sudden an unpredictable for a new player (which can cost a lot of time without frequent saves) and can feel a bit unfair, but overall the game is solidly programmed, nicely done.
I'm on a laptop running Windows 10. I was able to download previous versions of the game and play it fine, but this time, when I download either the 32 or 64 bit version, my RAR opener will not open it. I even tried downloading a new opener in case mine was glitched but it still wouldn't open. Any ideas?
The game runs fine for me, but it is DEVOURING my memory.
The longer the game runs the more memory it is using.
It isn't even that big of a problem until it gets to the seven gig mark and everything just grinds to a halt.

It looks like the exe doesn't run. A friend of mine ran the windows version while I ran the linux version. We both had java installed and running correctly. But running the exe or the application file in Linux and Windows doesn't work. And yes, on Linux I made sure to give it permission to run as an application.
This can be easily troubleshooted by running the .jar file directly. In fact, I'm currently unaware why the executable files are necessary.

I've got a minor bug. During the ghost encounter, if she falls down she becomes stuck in the prone stance and she's unable to get back up. She keeps casting incantation but it has no effect. If you're unable to deal damage to her your only option becomes to surrender otherwise you're stuck in a never ending fight.

You'll never be able to get impregnated by two goblins - that's not how goblin reproduction works. And if you want to see changes, getting mad at us is counterproductive.
I'm not actually that mad about it, just that it felt like an oversight and it was the first thing I tested out. 'Who knows' was hardly a 'Not Goblins' It was vague enough that it was a possibility to either case of design choice.

On Goblins: That explains it then. Doggy-Style skills at the lowest possible Charisma stat of 1 is able to make them submit within four rounds but Nelson/Grapples lack the charisma boosted skill. The only skill that isn't able to make them cum repeatedly at every turn is the standard 'Pound' skill.
On Warlock: Well even if it's just a place-holder I still liked the presence of it being there.
So ever since public version (2.01.0) I have been unable to even download the game. I have tried doing so with Chrome, IE, and Firefox and none of them can complete the download. They make the attempt, but after a certain percentage is complete the download fails and cannot proceed further. This issue has carried itself over to version (2.02.0),
Alright so I just confirmed I have 2.29 GB of free space. When I attempt to download via Chrome it reliably halts at 40mb and then fails. When using Firefox it inconsistently fails but when it does complete and I unpack the files the executable is unresponsive. Internet Explorer reliably finishes the download but runs into the same issue of an unresponsive executable.

Some machines seem to have issues when they don't have an OpenGL 2.0 compatible video card driver. No solution currently.

Werewolf dialogue for Church NPC not triggering
No matter how many werewolves I encounter she always just says "I do not believe in them." or something like that. I even finished the second Brothel quest, so there is a Werewolf right next door and she still doesn't believe in them. All the other dialogue options changed when I encountered said creature, so this seemed like a defect.
Losing to Urka while sparring is treated as losing the initial fight
If you lose to Urka while sparring it talks about other people being there even though it should only be the two of you there. I don't know if the code is actually pointing to the same scene, but having a different version that doesn't reference the other people seems like an easy thing to do.
Skip is skipping choices
Holding down the skip key is also fast forwarding through some points where you should need to select a choice. Specifically I remember it skipping the Centaur Camp invitation a few times. I do not know which choices it selected when doing so. P.S. I would personally really like it if skipping also stopped at Skill Checks too.
Ongoing Memory Issues
Running the 64 bit version on a Windows 7 system causes memory issues. The longer it runs the more memory it takes. At one point it was taking up 8 gigs of memory on my system. Is this the known bug "Some machines have an issue running the Win64-bit version of the game - solved by downloading the Win32-bit version."? If so, you might want to clarify it there.

When trying to execute .jar it opens and in less than 1 second disappears. when .jar does this the game creates a hs_err_pid and does not open.

Mount Xiuh did not spawn anywhere on the map.
Were wolfs stopped spawning, so I could not finish the second brothel quest.
I was fighting ,the brigand I believe, and they fell down on the same turn they grappled me. But even though they were on the ground, I still had to take a couple turns to break out of the grapple.

Got a few issues to report:
profile.json corruption:
I had this happen because I lost power while playing the game, and it must have been about to update profile.json, because after a restart the file was empty and the game wouldn't start. Deleting the file caused the game to recreate it, though of course all my progress (unlocked scenes etc.) were lost but at least my save files were fine.
Anyway, this issue usually occurs when file-writes aren't atomic, meaning the game is presumably writing directly to the profile.json file each time it updates, and this means the file is wiped, then new data written into it, so if interrupted the file is left empty or incomplete. To prevent this I'd like to recommend that file writes be made atomic; easiest way to do this is to write updated files to a temporary location, e.g- profile.json.tmp, then only once writing is finished, rename the file to replace the old one. On basically all filesystems doing it this way means that in the worst case of interruption you still have the old version of the file, and only the new data is lost.
Infrequent crashes:
While playing the game on Windows 10 64-bit (all latest patches), the 64-bit version of the game infrequently crashes; I haven't been able to isolate any kind of cause though, the game will just stop responding, requiring me to end the task and relaunch it. Fortunately it always continues right where I left off, but it's annoying, and since no exception is being raised there is no error log to provide.
Sorry that I can't be more helpful on this one, but is there perhaps a way to get more information? I mostly use Macs so I don't know much about debugging program hangs on Windows, is there any way for me to generate a spin-dump/stack-trace the next time this happens? On Mac I'd just hope into Activity Monitor and hit the generate spindump button, but on Windows it doesn't seem so simple!
Mac version doesn't work?
I would really prefer to play this on my Mac rather than starting up my gaming PC to play it (though it is a really good game ;) but the Mac version does not appear to work at all.
Firstly the download isn't packaged properly, instead of an app bundle it's just a folder, though this is easily fixed by adding .app to the end. Secondly, the program isn't executable, but this is again easily fixed (open Terminal, type "chmod +x " (without quotes, keep the space on the end) and then drag the app onto the Terminal window to add its path and hit return to run, this makes all files executable.
However none of these fixes make it run; I have the latest version of Java installed but when I double-click the app nothing happens. Attempting to launch from the terminal instead gives the following error:

This seems like a build issue, probably the Java framework needs to be bundled but currently isn't.
Anyway, just wanted to say keep up the great work; I played this once a while ago and I have to say the game mechanics have vastly improved, it's a really fun game with a lot of great scenes and artwork. Can't enthuse about it enough, so I hope some of these reports help!

It's not working for me either I don't want to seem rude or anything but none of the new downloads are working for me either I have to do a workaround with using the android files through a phone emulator just to even get to play it now if possible please look into seeing what the issue with the download links might be or you'll be losing a fan since I like this game ever since I first learnt about it but if I can't forage that puts me on a timer which I don't like or want and with cheats not working either the game becomes at least for me an unplayable mess.
Latest Mac version still doesn't work, sorry!
First of all it's compressed as a folder, not as an application (need to add .app to the end of the folder name), second it doesn't have execute permissions, and third it just doesn't work in the first place. Running via command line (to get output) shows the following error:

This appears to be an issue with linking of your compiler settings, as the dynamic library isn't being linked/compiled properly.
Update: Just wanted to add for anyone trying to play on a Mac; if you have Java installed on your system then you don't need the Mac version of the game, just download the Win64 version and double-click the .jar file that comes with it, it's the actual game executable anyway (the .exe is just a launcher).
Hey Majalis, I don't think I quite got how to download correctly. I don't see the Executable file anywhere's, and if it's what I think it is, I click on it but the program doesn't start up. I'm pretty stupid, but is there any way you could explain why this is happening? Also, I think that a video showing of how to download this might be better going into the future, because there's lots of stupid people like me that have to google what an executable is because i'm...Stupid. Sorry to be a bother. If anyone else can help out, it's also greatly appreciated. ^^
Looks like you have common file extensions hidden, that TalesOfAndrogyny application is the executable. You have a bunch of other stuff in that directory though, and I can't see if you have the bundled jre (the jre directory) there, so that might be causing your problem. Try extracting the .rar into its own separate folder, and you should see TalesOfAndrogyny.jar, TalesOfAndrogyny(.exe), the jre folder, and a config.json file.
Does this look correct? If it does I don't think it's working correctly, I click and click and click on both the exe and the jar file but nothing happens. Literally nothing, not the game starting up, nor anything else happening that might signal something being wrong like an error report. Sorry if i'm a bother, i'm not very tech savvy, a monkey would probably be better at this than me. If you need anything off of here I can take more screenshots, but I don't see why it won't start even after I followed the instructions given.

Hello! So i became a patron today in order to get access to the latest version of ToA and for some reason the .exe or the .jar both don't work (nothing happens at all after minutes of waiting). I've correctly downloaded the corresponding 32-bit version and i've updated my java to the latest vers. and restarted my computer but nothing seems to be fixing it. Previously when i wasn't a patron, the public builds that were being put out were doing fine for me and would launch instantly with no issues. Am i doing something wrong? Thanks in advance!

-Going into a fight with a female goblin, even for the first time, with a fully stuffed belly ends the fight automatically with no action from her, but you still end up egged.
-The Magic Dick Cage can come off but still shows up on the picture in battle and I think still counts in battle too.
Hi Majalis, found a "semi-critical" bug with character stats affecting combat and character creating, confirmed in both 2.6 and 2.7.1
The bug is in character stats being read for combat.
Hovering over portrait, shows stats as base character create stats. I also confirmed it to affect combat as shown on hover rather than actual.
After some testing, here is what's happening:
It's not taking into account the 4 point you get to add during character creation (or at least not any positive gain above base).
It reads if you removed any points, during create, and any points gained from perk/eq (still from create base stats), but not the 4 you get to distribute initially.
Adding to my previous post, found an old link to 1.28.2, was same there, so it has been this way a long time.
*EDIT, on latest version* Tried some more and it's a bit strange. It's not that it's not reading all initial gains, rather it's reading some, but to a certain degree.
Ex. Palading,
Base STR 4, reads as 3
Adding 1 str during create to 5, reads as 4.
Adding 2 str during create to 6 still reads as 4.
*EDIT 2* Thought is was capping at a certain point, but played with save editing, paladin with all stats on 5, reads as 4 in combat, but it wasn't until i increased it all the way to 8 in all that is shows as 5 in combat. Is the stat relation between character and combat not supposed to be 1 to 1?
*Final edit2* oops? so, 5 base = 4 combat, 7 base = 5 combat, 10 base = 6 combat. On purpose?
Yep, I replied to your other post, but that's correct; the stats currently have a stepdown function that's used for certain applications. It's not supposed to report those stepdown values, though, so I've fixed that - ultimately the stepdown will be removed entirely - it was there originally for balance purposes.

Two bugs to report:
1. Enemy behaviour stops working in some situations. When the enemy has forced player into a sex stance, they will not attempt to keep player in the sex stance, they will just let the player struggle out immediately. Another example is enemy AI does not appear to have ability to reverse the 'grapple bar' once sex has started.
2. Loading the Dullahan encounter causes a crash. Verified only on Android version, but crash occurs when encountering normally on map and through 'encounter' cheat.

If you are skipping text on a conversation before a fight... When the conversation ends, the fight itself will lose it's BGM and it will be a really silent battle until it ends ( SFX sounds of hits, blocks and such still works during the fight).
When the fight ends, the music returns.
Music is one of the strongest points of the game, so i would really love if this could be fixed in any way. It appears that the music track is being skipped, or something like that.

So the .toa-data folder might be a hidden folder, so you might need to show hidden folders. You could also navigate directly to "YOUR-GAME-FOLDER/.toa-data" in a navigation bar to peek inside of it.
If you can find the profile.json (might appear as just "profile" if you have extensions off) file, you can copy it somewhere else, and delete it, and that should also fix your problem. It probably got corrupted at some point during a save.

I don't know if this bug has been reported before but I'll post it anyways just in case. Whenever I encountered a goblin and let myself lose to it, it fucked me and afterwards whenever I encounter or talk with someone/something the fucking noise from the goblin can still be heard which sounds like a constant fapping noise in the background. Exiting game or reloading a save doesn't seem to fix the noise, the only way I've found to fix it is to load a previous save before I encountered the goblin. I'm using the latest public build. Once again, not sure if this has been reported before, I didn't feel like going through the 133 pages of comments to find out. lol
I'm not sure what i can do to replicate this as it seems random, but when you go from full nelson to wrestling stance sometimes i'd have the option to punch them in the face while being at the 7th grappling stage thing, when it's a option choking the enemy does nothing for my erection and nothing really happens until i ether penetrate or get off them.

-The centaur ending does not seem to trigger if you voluntarily go to the centaur camp instead of losing the fight to the centaur. Get access to this option by having rank 3 anal addict or the catamite perk when encountering the centaur or getting her to cum inside you. She will give you a bow if done correctly. The gangbang scene still triggers and your class still changes to mare if you do so, regardless of your current equestrian score. It is also worth noting that it is difficult to progress on this path, since you need a large number of centaur camps to spawn to reach equestrian rank 3, lose a fight, and then visit the camp again. Maintaining food wandering around the same areas long enough for this to happen is very difficult.
-New location icons that are very large can prevent the player from selecting locations if they happen to be behind the image. Locations above large icons like the fort are especially prone to this issue.

Hey, thanks for the quick reply! After I got your feedback, I decided to do some extensive troubleshooting. Long story short, after about an hour, I got it to work! The solution was fairly straightforward really, all I had to do was install the xorg-xandr package.

Your build process for Mac seems to be broken somehow.. I only develop within Unity so I can't say that I have any idea how to fix the issue, but one of the problems seems to be that the executables don't have the correct file extension. (.app) The directory structure seems to be correct on a cursory glance.. but changing the top folder to app doesn't fix the issue.. Trying it in the itch app shows that there seem to be errors upon changing the application to executable upon file download.. hope this helps..
Yeah, this is at least part of the problem. The bundle that Itch downloads appears to be corrupt beyond that, but with the manual download of the .rar, I was able to replace the JRE in the bundle with a JRE download from https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8-downloads-2133155.... and it ran

This issue may be fixed in the next public version already, but one thing you can do is open the save file (in the .toa-data folder) and edit the "context" variable from "ENCOUNTER" to "WORLD_MAP". If you note what it says next to "encounterCode" it'd be helpful, so we know which encounter caused the crash. Hope that helps, and thanks!
I found a bug in arena (v0.2.09.3). As you encounter the first everything goes as normal, but after defeating him, other two encounter doesnt do anything. Just do nothing. Seducing and presenting didnt do anything too. While i was completing the arena, i was wearing indestructible shield, chastity belt and cage (maybe AI bugged because of them). Bug comes like 2 times at 3 tries.
The other bug is with Blitz stance. I cant learn overrun and assault in the game, so i cant attack and do anything(do nothing). Save file from previous versions of the game with "assault" fix it, but still you cant learn it in the game.
And my thought about quetzaal: she is nothing, cant kill a hero in whatever scenario (if only you shitmage or ranger without bows and normal weapon). Hitting face is still the easiest way to defeat enemy, even without any special stats or abilities.

There seems to be a bug that was reintroduced with the latest free release. Encountering a centaur camp has a test which can result in the player spending willpower to resist the centaurs. However, the willpower will be deducted even if the player decides to go to the camp orgy anyway.
Agreeing to go to the camp also still changes the class name to mare and triggers the fight loss orgy scene, but has none of the other effects that losing the battle does.
I've been having trouble on mobile, any time I go to a brigand space, my game crashes.
To be more specific if I move to any brigand besides the cutpurse, it will shut down. Scouting allows me to see where they are but I still can't interact with them. I tried quick save and quick load as well as standard load and just continue but none seem to work and the game just shuts down again.
The next issue I've been having is with the alpha harpy. If I surrender or get defeated, it doesn't add to the cuckoo stat check, and as of yet between finding enough harpies and avoiding the brigands, I have yet to complete the achievement.
When an event is at a point where it adds stuff going to mainmenu or save menu and then continuing will make it add stuff again.
Being blown by female goblin after catching and putting her down doesn't do anything and can happen even with chastity cage.
Kylira doesn't actually take your ass virginity when you let her kiss you it only adds 10ml of cum to ass and a questlog entry while virginity field still says "for now" meaning you can have 2 ass virginity loss entries in the questlog.
Phantasmal shield shows full incantation icon when learning it and allows entering the stance but since it's actually a normal incantation entering full incantation stance leaves you stuck with doing nothing.
Grappling skills don't mention how they try to affect grapple status (ie. choke and hold in wrestling stance have identical descriptions). Similar thing for sex skills there's really no way to judge which sex skills I should use or get if stamina use is the only thing mentioned.

1) Can you give an example of this? In general, leaving to main menu on a screen where you receive/lose something will result in the game replaying the sounds and text of acquisition/loss, but won't actually replay the things you've received.

This happens for me every time I try to start the game. If I try do start it again without forcing the progress to shut down first I get only a black screen.
I reinstalled three times with the same result. I redownloaded the file after the first time and used a browser app to install after the second time.
Data/app/com.majalis... is nowhere to be found, neither is the error.txt
In fact I don't find the installation anywhere but it does take up 582mb somewhere in my internal memory. Edit: But only according to the App info, deinstalling frees up only about 100mb.
I did run an earlier version on the same machine a month or two back, I do not remember wich version. Hope this helps you and hope you may help me ^^
The latest version of Tales of Androgyny Win64 v0.2.09.0 is corrupt I updated from v0.2.06.0 and it worked fine I lost my characters my saves and all but yeah I guess I can make em again but yeah the latest files form this site download don't work the .exe is not working properly WinRAR tells me the data Is corrupt and unfinished archive error the .exe only appears to have 339KB when it used to have the 599,999KB please fix it I really want to play this game again I cant find older versions on other sites and this site doesn't let you download old builds of the game

Majalis, I can't install the app apk. I try many times since version 2.07.0, try on 2.08.0 and still not worked, i have tried on version 2.09.0. The same error, i can download the file, but when i try to install i get the following message: The app could not be installed. Please help me out. The game doesn't start on Linux (Ubuntu 18.10) without a janky workaround. When running it from the terminal, it gives an error, saying:
jre/lib/amd64/server/libjvm.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Error: failed to load VM runtime library!
The file it specifies is missing (the "amd64" folder only contains jvm.cfg, not a "server" folder or anything else). It appears that the version of Java included is the Windows version, not the Linux version. Replacing the "jre" folder with one from a working Oracle Java installation fixed the issue and allowed the game to start.

I seem to be running into a problem in the v2.10 public build where the new armors such as the Chastity Belt and Indestructible Shield will not show up in the Monsters Town shop if I have already bought all the old armors such as the Shoes of Running and Gauntlets of Strength. The new armors will show up if I have not bought the old armors yet (tested by using two different saves: an old save that had not bought anything yet and creating a new save).
Not sure what the Seed option is for or what to put there, just as i'm unsure if this has been brought up, but I was tossing a random number in it and put a period in the seed box and I got this error file in my folder.

Running into softlock wrestle/grapple situation. This has occurred against the male goblin and the slime, when the wrestle bar is on the far left but the enemy has low hp/stamina they will endlessly rest/rest/rest/grapple and fail the grapple - PC is always winner of the grapple but since the grapple bar is on the far left PC is unable to do anything but rest endlessly.

Chastity Cage Replacement
Purchasing the Cage of Power while already wearing a regular Chastity Cage seems to just result in the loss of the money, as the new cage doesn't replace the old one. I think it would make sense the old one to be removed in favour of the better Cage of Power, either destroying the old one, or putting it in inventory to sell.
Missing Harpy Image Unlocks?
There seem to be missing image unlocks in the gallery for Harpies; I'm pretty sure I've done every seen available, but the only images I've unlocked are the various Fellatio variants. Specially the image with Hiro face down and a Harpy gripping his big butt as she ploughs him (my favourite ;) isn't appearing in the gallery.
Update: Aha! The images are unlocked when surrendering/losing to the harpies (which I've apparently never done), the issue is only with images displayed as a result of sex during combat, which don't seem to trigger the unlock.
Performance Issues
This is nothing new, but may be worse in the latest version, but on a system with a slower (spinning) hard drive the game can feel quite slow, and I think this is to do with how it constantly writes out new save games when advancing dialogue, taking turns in combat etc. in order to resume as close as possible, but this results in the game frequently freezing. Even though it's only a fraction of a second it's noticeable.
I'd like to suggest that instead of saving constantly, the game should use an "events stream"; basically instead of writing out a full save, the game would open a file (and keep it open) and write new values onto the end of it as list of changes since the last proper save. When the player saves, exits the game or if the events stream gets too large the game should save normally (ideally in a background thread) and discard the events stream. In the event the game exits without saving (crash, loss of power, forcibly closed etc.) it can load the last save, then apply all the changes listed in the events stream to resume where it left off.
I've actually developed in Java (though it's been a little while, all my recent jobs have been in PHP) but if you can let me know any details of how the game handles saves I could possibly knock together some sample code if that's of use. For example, if the game stores its data inside a Java Map then it's dead to create a wrapper/sub-class to handle this.
The chastity cage change is a bug; it (correctly) fails to de-equip the chastity cage you're wearing, but then doesn't put the new chastity cage in your inventory (because it assumes it will be auto-equipped). I'll fix this now.
It's a known issue that CGs viewed during combat don't unlock knowledge of those CGs (because of how they're served up in combat). Hopefully we'll be able to resolve it soon.
The constant saving is due to the game's roots as a rogue-like, preserved in the current iteration of the game in the form of ironman mode. It has nothing to do with resuming the save as close to failure as possible. I could add an option for disabling auto-save on non-ironman saves, though. There already is functionality implemented that queues up save file mutations until they're flushed to a file, so that shouldn't be too hard to implement.

I'm sorry to say that I can't find an error.txt anywhere. I also can not find the game folder. Pls help! I have tried this every now and again for two month now and have seen other people here have the same problem but no solution.
In the new weekly Patreon build, every character I’ve created has the Stuffed status effect (Agility penalty) permanently set to 2. This is likely a result of Rectum contents set to Cum-stuffed and Colon contents set to Filled-with-cum. It doesn’t go away, even after using rest for 20 days straight or adding more baby batter or babies and waiting further. Requesting a plumber to use a big, long snake to come clean out Hiro’s pipes.

Edit: Not sure if I have the whole context for the issue, but I fixed it by playing with my graphic settings. I have a 4K UHD (3840x2160) monitor and I had the game previously set to fullscreen at maximum resolution. I changed the resolution from 3840x2160 to 2560x1440 for using a different application and that is when it started throwing that error. If I go back to 3840x2160, start the game, turn off fullscreen, use a set resolution, and exit, I can use it at 2560x1440. Not every resolution has this issue, so it might be an edge case.
Hi. For some reason, I'm not able to download your game... I tried downloading it through my browser, but it gets canceled at random points during download and in the itch app it downloads but when installing it throws this error:

When I use the "careful attack" move , it switches me to offensive stance instead of keeping the defensive one , though there are no mentions of it anywhere in the patch-notes (unless it's the block level added , mentionned in the 1.10 update , but it's not effective there ) , as there also are mentions that you keep your "defense options" in that stance , and now it's just a weaker sudden advance move , I'd like to know what happened...
Currently on latest version (June 2019) and I can't access the mare ending, lura ending, brigands of any kind, or the pervert menu. I've only had the error page show up on lura, but when I go to my files, there is no error document to post.
Secondary location paths show up, like entering the strange castle for lura, but once the tile is activated it crashes.
Sorry, yes the android version, I'm unsure if it has something to do with my phones system, but whenever I go though my files to find it, it just shows up as empty, the settings are supposed to show hidden files, but it still shows up empty.
Something like this- my files/ sd card/ android/ data/ com.majalis.talesofandrogyny /files- and there is nothing showing.

I attempted to see what the other codes were, but none actually had any shown up. I attempted to open the pervert menu, brigand standard, brigand weak, and the mare ending location loaded the space where both the strange castle and centaur camp appear but it wouldn't allow me to enter. Upon attempting to activate any of them, it would simply shut down, without an error message of any sort.
I guys, i've found a pretty annoying bug in the v0.2.11.0 that wasn't fixed in the patch notes : When you are attacked by an Harpy near the Fort, she keep on doing dive attacks. And if you choose dodge (cause no arrow and not enough sluty to open wide), if you don't have enough AGI to pass the second tests (see screens), you are locked in an infinit loop of losing 10 HP. Even if you drop to 0 HP, it continue until you decide to choose "Fail" to the tests, and you get stabed for free...
It's pretty annoying to loose virginity just because AGI is under 7, since that is a pretty high number...

I just got another error code, failed to allocate 14517904 bytes with 16777216 free bytes and 31 mb until oom requiring 14520320 where largest contiguous free 726208 bytes. I'm assuming it's another ram crash, but I just figured I'd post this one as well just in case as it's different than my past one. If at all possible, an attempt to reduce ram usage would be appreciated. Thanks again, I still appreciate the hard work.

Just a reminder though, however you're building the Mac version of the game, it's still broken; the app itself doesn't have correct permissions (/Contents/MacOS/TalesOfAndrogyny needs to have execute permission), but even once this is fixed it won't open, using the Terminal to open it instead gives the following error:
LSOpenURLsWithRole() failed with error -10810 for the file /Volumes/Users/renara/Downloads/Tales of Androgyny Mac v0.2.12.0.app.
Removing the .jar file and opening that directly however still works just fine on any Mac with Java already installed.
Dunno if you have access to a Mac for testing, but if you can share anything about how you build the Mac version of the game I might be able to reproduce the issue and find a fix, at the very least I can keep testing Mac builds to see what works.
Howdy I just installed the game on my android tablet but I ran into a problem. The problem is the game keeps crashing after I finish creating my character. I can't seem to find the error log for this problem and I don't get any error message either. So will reinstalling the game fix this or is there an other option? Please help. To be more specific it crashes during the loading screen after I finish creating my character
