Really cool game, it have a really good aproach of the theme. I like it
There's not much missing from this game to make it really great! First of all, the pixel art is top-notch! The idea of the wheel spinning on its side works really well, forcing us to concentrate on all sides. You have to pay attention to your movements, boss attacks, the spinning wheel and the opportunities it offers. All in all, very good stuff. But I found it too difficult. Even in easy mode! I gave up on the second boss, because I couldn't anticipate his dash and ended up dying over and over again. If the bosses were a little less frantic, gave us more warning of their attacks, and gave us more time to act, then the game could really be addictive.
In short, crazy potential!
The combo wheel concept was a little bit hard while also trying to dodge the guy, but it as a new concept for sure.
Very smooth controls and fun game! Though, it is really hard to focus on the boss fight and the wheel simultaneously, could barely beat easy mode like that. But, if I completely focus on the wheel and just spam dodge, could beat master almost first try. The bosses are nicely designed but unfortunately can't look at them if I want to beat the game.
This game is really cool. The visuals are incredible, and the use of the spinning wheel determining your attack is really creative and unique. Good work!
Such a fun take on the theme! Also, the art is beautiful, I especially love the parallax effects.
My strategy that got me through every boss with no issue was to focus on the wheel and keeping up the combo. I basically only looked at the wheel, used every action and dodged the attacks that I saw with the corner of my eye. So, I think that an option to have the wheel in the middle of the screen could be useful, to make the player actually look at the boss, not just the wheel :P
Controls are responsive and snappy, however I think the game is a tad too difficult where its frustrating.

That was really good. It would be better if you could buff your enemy if you pressed the grey parts of the wheel, it would make it more risky. I liked the art style and boss designs.
tbh for me it wasnt very satisfying switching from lookin at the boss to the wheel constantly. im quite impressed by the art. it deserves more "eyetime" xD. impressive in 1 month to make all the art and polish the game like this, wow! thanx for sharing <3
Good implementation of spinning theme. Maybe need a cooldown for attacks or you would just spam clicks. Smooth play with all required things, dash jump, etc.
What I liked the most was the attack/combo roulette system—very well done! The audio and music need a lot of improvement. I need something that makes me want to fight with all my strength! ;) FUN!

Took me a while to get used to looking at both the wheel and the boss attacks but eventually I got the timing down, it was hard to get my eyes out of the corner and on to all the pretty pixel art. Mechanically satisfying and has a very nice escalation.

I had a lot of trouble keeping track of the boss and the wheel at the same time, makes for an interesting challenge in my opinion.

Cool mechanic, a bit too hard for me but I still liked it, the executioner's homing fists and axe were a bit too much for me to handle. I really liked the wheel, though having to look at the boss and the wheel was what really made the game difficult for me, maybe if there were more sound effects or screenshake when you miss the wheel you wouldn't need to look at it all the time. Also doing nothing when I missed was pretty frustrating, since the wheel would slow down and I'd have to wait until I could do something again, maybe when you miss you could do a default weak attack? and just lose the combo. Aside from that I gotta say that the game looks very good, I remember playing this in the start of the jam and the character was just a default white dude, I was surprised seeing how everything got polished and detailed, very cool game.
Great bosses and mechanic, got a little lost in control and wheels/action timing at first but it become fun after you get a hang of it.
This is a great game, each of the bosses were fun to fight against and I love the idea of a spinning wheel that determines the player’s next attack. The way you also obtain combo with it is also very neat. Good job on the game!
I like the idea with the wheel and the upgrades a lot. Do you plan to add temporary modifiers/buffs/debuffs that affect the speed of the wheel?
once i have the art for the player done, ill make a knockback/flinch system that will include wheel speed debuffs, also the wheel has been rebalanced in version 0.2, so maybe give it another try. or wait for the full release in February i suppose.
Love the style. Surprisingly accessible too. I was able to play (a little) on my phone, even! What does the wheel do? Seems like I got health when i clickked when it was green.
