Game's Take on the Theme
The gameplay focuses around alternating between your ranged gun and a spinning melee attack that is activated by looping around the player with the mouse cursor. This powerful AOE is critical to your success, as it keeps enemies away and reloads your gun. A successful player balances both the ranged and spin attacks to defeat hordes of enemies and bosses. Some boss arenas have spinning environments, and many upgrades draw upon the spin theme as well!

Did your team make the majority of the art and music during the jam?

Well made game, + points for making every asset by yourselves. Models are really well made. UI, SFX and VFX are really good

Incredible how much you guys managed to do in 1 month. The production is really close to commercial level. It has a lot of assets and special effects! The background bass really adds to the suspenseful feeling on a spaceship filled with deadly bosses. For me the highlight of this game is the "spin to reload" mechanic (Props to the game designer!). It is such a simple mechanic that makes sense, feels satisfying and integrate well into the traditional zombie shooter gameplay. Well done.

The polish in this game is insane. The amount of high quality models alone is impressive let alone the textures, UI, SFX, VFX, and music. On top of that, the gameplay loop is pretty satisfying as well. The only thing I found a bit lacking was that I wanted more of the storyline because you've built a really cool world, but I felt like I still hardly know anything about it. Great work on all accounts though. One of the best entries I've played thus far!

This game’s atmosphere gripped me from the start. The music and sound design are top-notch. Spinning to attack and reload felt incredibly satisfying, and the bosses were excellently designed. I also appreciated the thoughtful accessibility options!

Great job!

its a really fun game with a really good use of the theme, woud like to see it updated with enhanced game feels of damage as on the second boss i was asking myself "is my bullets dispawning because he is really far?" until i saw his healthbar moving, overall a great idea!

I really liked it! I loved the idea of reloading by rotating the character! The game is well balanced and the style is really cool. Congratulations on the game!

Great game! It reminded me a bit of Dead Frontier, especially with some effects like the enemy blood splatter. I think the bosses could be a bit more challenging, but I had a lot of fun spinning and spinning to reload. I also liked that you included an infinite life option in the settings for players who want to go all out in the game.

Good use of the theme. Initially unintuititive, but after the time I adapt and this is really fun.

To be better, the game require small tweeks, especially in balance and feedback, such as boss attack range decal or feeling of dealing damage.

Thank you for the linux build! The character models and particle effects are fantastic. Kiting enemies isn't my favorite of gameplay types, but it's done well here. Great entry!

Really impressive graphics for a jam game, and I love the creative use of theme! (I've never had so much fun reloading in a game) However, it does feel like you focus on the small enemies more than the bosses itself, and the bosses have one or two simple attacks can get repetitive. Still, I loved the controls and theme!

I managed to quell the primordial evils (for a while obviously) haha and what I found was that the upgrades are so fun AND STACKABLE. Loved the effects you added to show a successful spin reload. Sound effects are great as well. Bosses look funny in a good way. They are all so unique. It managed to run without any significant drops in frame rate even on my old thinkpad, Good Job!

Cannot run the game on ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS. Tried to run it as an executable but the game doesn't open.

Update. Was able to run it. Cool looking game.  I liked the spin to reload mechanic. The boss design is cool. My only complaint is that the boss felt too tanky and the endless horde didn't help either to focus on the boss. Otherwise the game has a lot of potential. Also I don't know how I will rate the audio as the game didn't play any audio because the audio drivers failed.

I loved the way you used the theme in your game spin to reload, its very fun to play and enjoyable

Amazing use of the theme!

In terms of feedback it's hard to know what I got hit by because of the huge amount of enemies and bullets. The basic enemies blend in with the background which sometimes creates frustrating situations.

The spin mechanic is genius, and by having it be so useful besides just reloading is fun.

Overall a great game, and I like it.

Really enjoyed this. The spin mechanic doesn't feel forced, and you managed to make it really fun. Well balanced, good job.
