Nice game, amazing presentation, especially with the ripple effects when moving, I also like that holding down the tongue continues to grab insects. Very fun, would just appreciate having more buttons outside of the mouse input for people using notebooks(those pads are horrible). Overall really cool game.
Reall nice gfx and presentation. Also a nice take on the bullet hell concept. I got a little confused by the location of the frog, felt like I would have wanted it more inthe middle for a better field of view, ut that's just a minor thing. Good work!
That was fun :)
I did have a little trouble tell where I was since it didn't really feel like the background was moving in relation my movements. But that could just be me
I found the mechanics very intriguing. At first, I was a bit confused, but soon grasped what I needed to do. I loved the design of frog space ship, and the enemies. I must admit that the screen shaking made me slightly uncomfortable; I'm not sure if the experience would be affected if the screen didn't shake. However, the sound effects were great. The game is quite challenging and enjoyable. I really liked it, congratulations!
Hello! ๐
Overall: โจ This one was fun and engaging! Very creative idea with eating the bugs. Great job overall!
Fun: ๐ I had a lot of fun playing this game and loved getting new abilities after defeating the bosses. I managed to defeat all 5 bosses. By the time I got to the 4th boss, I was very overpowered and could kill the last two bosses very quickly.
Visual: ๐จ The visuals would be my biggest complaint. They were hard on my eyes, possibly due to the background or overall blurriness of the game. Improving this aspect would enhance the experience.
Audio: ๐ถ The audio was nice and calming, fitting well with the gameplay.
Theme: ๐ I'm assuming the consequence you implemented was losing your abilities if you got hit and lost some screws. It was an interesting take on the theme.
Other feedback: The game had me hooked the whole time. I went top, left, bottom, right, then middle. I'm not sure if the order makes a difference, but it so that adds a layer of some interesting strategy/build making. Great job overall! ๐
I love the visuals and the sound of the game. The eating mechanic is great but a bit overpowered, and the difficulty is a bit too low. The theme consequences is not really implemented. Overall, I had fun playing the game. Keep up the good work! :)
I loved the tung mechanic but it was a bit to easy with you being able to eat enemies for health when you got hurt. But i realy loved the music and the art and of all the bullet hell's this one was the most cosy game I played.
The tongue mechanic is awesome! The art is also very good, excellent work!
Incredible visuals and aesthetics. But can't say the same for gameplay. I just spammed left mouse till I'm full then spammed right mouse to kill boss. I didn't die even though I didn't pay attention to incoming bullets or insects. Also game felt like a bit complicated. How things work could be better explained to the player.
Super fun and well thought out. I like the eating, and gaining the opponents power is super cool. What's the consequences theme tho?
THank you! For the theme, the consequences I had planned for revolved around gaining the weapon upgrades. I wanted the bugs you eat to determine the upgrades. But sadly, I started to run out of time and instead just gave them to the mini-bosses. You also lose your upgraded weapons if you get hit! And lose all weapons if you get down to 0. I know it's a bit of a stretch :P
This one gets an A+ on creativity. It was addicting licking up bugs. Only gripe is it wasn't hard, it was time consuming. The bugs give you unlimited health you can spam the lick and just sit in one place. Maybe a higher cooldown, or less bugs. Other than that it has solid mechanics and I enjoyed playing it.
