Very fun physics and really nice artstyle, great job!

I love how the game is really hard to control, but it doesn’t become frustrating at any point, and the fails also count as a spectacle of its own xD

OK. Okay wait hahahahahha. This game is so hilarious in an amazing way. To be honest I found it REALLY hard, like kinda unplayable, but that only adds to its charm to me. This is so good. I thought the intro music and announcer was perfect for the aesthetic. And the itch page colors and header graphic were very nice. 5 stars across the board. Whew! Okay, I always try to think of stuff I'd improve... I mean, the game is so hard (maybe it was my computer or framerate or something) ... so there should probably be a difficulty setting. But that's not what this round is about and it deserves to finish very high. Thank you!

Developer

Thanks ! I think the game maybe be harder on some configs, i saw someone on Mac playing and everything was way too fast to be playable. Just before deadline i made a build with FPS capping at 30 but that may not entirely fix the issue. Anyway thanks for playing !

ah that must be it! I'm in a mac.

Funny game! I like the idea of being a circus performer trying to stack plates on my head. The cartoony art style of the game really enhances this feeling. I love it!

I keep dying after I get two plates on my head lol

This game is amazing! At first i had trouble with the controls, but because every death looked comical, it was no problem. The controls feel like riding that unicycle. The art fits together so well and everything is very well drawn. After a short time playing I got the controls figured out and stacked those plates on my head :)
I had a lot of fun playing this game, thank you :D

Love the hilarious art style. The expression on the performer's face is really great. Overall the art works really well together, and I appreciate that you took the time to draw the numbers for the timer too. Might be cool to have some kind of animation in the beginning when the curtains are closed. Maybe spotlights moving around.

This was a lot of fun. It truly felt like an accomplishment whenever I managed to actually catch a plate only to completely lose my balance and fly off the stage. Really funny game with some great sound effects as well, nice job :)

Love the solid QUOP-energy of this one, took me some effort but I did get to the elephant spatting ending XD artwork all fits together nicely.

One suggestion: the actual balance probably could use some tuning - maybe the more leaned you are to one side, the higher the influence is? was too easy to lean a little too far and than there’s just no chance for recovery (whereas most balancing mechanics I recall essentially increase the weight of the influence the longer you hold the key, with the consequence of highly likely over correction).

Edit; forgot to mention, I loved the facial expressions during gameplay!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the detailed feedback. I agree the balancing could be tuned, especially to avoid being in a position where you can't recover, and i like your idea of increasing weight. I'll keep that in mind if i make this kind of gameplay in the future.

Holy cow this is frustrating to play, I keep trying to get better and I want to quit, but the ease of repeatability makes it easy to say "okay, last one" over and over. The audio is perfect (thank you for volume control) the visuals are appealing. Great jam game!

What an infuriating game that I can't really be mad at because it's so ridiculous. XD The VO is incredible, and your audio choices really made the whole experience. The art style fits well. I was weirdly mesmerized by your line width choices on the curtain--probably because I had to restart so many times.

Can't wait to see what you do in the audio focused round!

I think I managed to cause a bug in the game by pressing space, I had a second performer on screen that would jump and fail after restarting. This kept reoccurring.

I like the opening and the voice acting, very cool.

Thanks for playing ! Yes i think pressing "SPACE" to pause in certain condition can break the game, i'll try to do a quick fix.

This one made me laugh.  I really like the art style, too!

Hilarious game. It pissed me off, I was determined to catch more than one plate. I ended up with three total. Nice ending, great job.

Tough to get used to the controls even though there were only two buttons. Fun frustration game and the ending was good.

Submitted(+1)

It's really funny, managed to catch 4 plates on my head and I love the ending :)

Submitted(+1)

Loved the art style, and the gameplay was pretty fun (tho it was a tad bit easy to make the player nearly completely stop)

Also the audio was really goofy, the fail sound is literally perfect lol

Really nice visuals, the ending funny.  Overall, it works well for a minute-long game. Great job.

I know the point of this first round is the visual, but man, your audio is sick! I had so much fun laughing at the guy falling down, the plates smashing, the plates smashing when you fall down, the background music, amazing work!

Dude, this is the funniest game.

'Welcome to the greatest show of all time!'

'Ugh!'

Failed! D-

Hahah!! Loved it, art style really fits the wacky gameplay too. Maybe a bit too hard for me, but that probably just adds to the appeal. Also, really nice unicycle animations, well played.

Great job!

The way the character moved was hilarious, it remined me of QWOP, in the best way possible. The controls were challenging too, making for a fun short game, I really enjoyed this. Amazing entry!
