Fun game! Evolving dash mechanic is a good touch.

This was a fun shooter! I really like the art the game looks very nice and cute with the duck and floaties. The dash mechanic is fun and it's cool that it got longer as I made my way around the level. Great work!

Good top down shooter, the war/dash was a great secondary mechanic and it was a lot of fun destroying those floaties. Good game!

This is great! Love the way the controller feels.

I’m very happy to hear that. I spent a long time tweaking the movement and I still feel it could be improved, hopefully homework for next round ;)

Very cool! Nothing happend when I won tho :P

I have no clue how you came up with this idea, hahah ;D

The game was a lot of fun; I enjoyed the feeling of gradually getting stronger. My only complaint would be that it can be hard to turn the duck.

My favorite so far. These mechanics are fun.

One thing I kept getting wrong: I instinctively moved the mouse in the direction I wanted to dash, could this be a control option? It seems intuitive to me.

Thanks for your comment. I did actually experiment with it but there was something off and decided to scrape it out. I was just commenting on another submission (Rift of mine) that uses the mouse to aim. Did you try it? Does it feel better? I am still undecided on how to handle that and I may bring it back.

For that game, I am not sure, because you move and die very fast there.
But I think it may benefit more precise movements in your game

Fun game! I like the levelling up of the dash mechanic. Aiming felt a bit clunky at times but otherwise it was good!

Submitted

Good times :) I'd really like to see more levels
