What a fun game!! Great concept and quite polished game. Easy to understand and to play. Good job. There are some very fancy vampires running around on the sidewalk :) I really liked playing it.

Great idea and well implemented! The sniper reticle and bullet UI were very nice and while I enjoyed playing your game for a bit, it did start to feel a bit repetitive for me! Great work! :)

A nice take on the topic! I really liked the idea, and it has a retro shooter vibe to it, a bit. Yet after a minute of playing, I was hoping to get something happening - and when a bus arrived, I was excited, but nothing really happened. So basically I felt a need for some kind of progression, or a loop, or increased difficulty. But that's of course something that could be added later if you want to continue with this game! With a progression, it could be really cool! Or even more so - I can imagine it as a scene of some broader shooting game, where levels differ - you shot vampires at one, a werewolf or someone else in another, with a slightly different twist for each scene :)

Could usually get up to 30 before I started getting overrun. When there's a big cluster of them together, it's SUPER hard to tell them apart. Loved the idea and the implementation, this one was super fun to play. Awesome job! Congrats on the submission

Had a feeling I'd see something vampire related this jam and this was a great way to do so. Gets fairly chaotic once more people start coming on screen especially when they group up not sure if that's a bad thing though as I did have fun needing to quickly figure out targets.

Great game, Fantastic work!

How you incorporated the theme into this game put a smile on my face. It fits so well! The final score at the end is quite engaging too and makes me want to one-up my friends. A few more modes and mechanics to this, and I could see myself play with for hours with friends! Simple games whose few mechanics you can get to master have a very special place in my heart. I grew close to my GF by playing tons of Nidhogg

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed our game, thanks for trying it out!

Really really well done.

What a fun game, I cannot stop playing!

A fun little game! I think a win condition like levels rather than just an endless mode could have been nice. Maybe a circle to indicate reload status? Overall, a very succinct take on the theme!

Developer(+1)

We did originally want to go win condition style gameplay, but decided to go for the arcade high-score type mode to give us more time for  other things. Maybe there could be different modes in a final game?

A reload indicator that's a bit more obvious would be ideal, yeah. Thanks for playing!

Super fun concept honestly. I could see myself sinking hours into this! Really love how the difficulty picks up quickly and starts testing your aim so you have to constantly keep on your toes. Great stuff!

I really like the difficulty curve in this. Although it ramps up quickly, I think spending too much time in the "easy" start would become boring, so well done with that! Had a lot of fun hitting headshots too, could be expanded into an aim trainer of sorts!

Really fun and original, at first I thought oh I’m never gonna lose but at some point it just gets too much, so it might need some balancing. The sound made it really juicy and fun to play. Great game!

Developer

Sadly didn't have the time for playtesting and fine-tuning the difficulty curve, but I'm glad you had fun playing!

Fun game, very creative approach to using a mirror. I was able to get 37 vampires and 10 runners. I don’t really like that it gets practically impossible after a certain point but for a jam, that’s fine. Could definitely be fleshed out a bit more into something real good.

A simple concept with a very interesting idea that makes you have fun without trying to do too much. Great work!

Submitted(+2)

Nice game! The concept is really unique. Love the use of the bus to distract the player.

I don't usually like shooting games, but I really enjoyed this! That train/bus situation is devilish! Very creative game. Great job!

Developer

Haha the bus was a fun little touch we added to spice it up a bit, glad you enjoyed our game!

Wow what a genius idea. Really well done! The difficulty increase is spot-on and i managed to take down 27 vampires.

Submitted(+2)

Well done :) I really liked your SFX and implementation of the theme! The added distractions such as the train were a very nice touch. GJ!!!

Developer

Thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed it! :)

Pretty neat concept, I had plenty of fun! As soon as you fall behind identifying the vampires it becomes really hard to keep up with the waves of people. Wich is a good think as at first it seemed too easy but nope, not easy at all. Great job!

Developer

Thank you for your kind feedback! Yeah, it was difficult to balance the difficulty in the time we had, hopefully we can improve the difficulty curve next time :D
