This is the lil game I made https://itch.io/jam/wowie-jam-4/rate/1661458 hope you enjoy :)
I like it! I think you could have had some sort of difficulty curve over time, I found that you can kite enemies infinitely so game never ends if you don't rush in with your sword like a mad man, maybe increase enemy speed or add ranged enemies that you can't outrun as easily?
Regardless I had fun playing it, I also really like the "Simple models animated" asthetic.
Here is my little experiment https://itch.io/jam/wowie-jam-4/rate/1664020
I will also play your game after work.
Besides for the ghosts having no animations and just being static, 5/5 visuals. Really enjoyed it, got surprisingly challenging really quickly. One thing your game could really benefit from is a restart level button for when one gets stuck, i was having to reload the web page constantly after getting too close to walls.
Nice game. I gave it a review and a comment.
Here's mine! https://itch.io/jam/wowie-jam-4/rate/1663676
Both collaborating & racing at the same time was a really clever twist on the theme, and made for great gameplay. The only criticism I have is that it was really hard to get used to using W for jumping, maybe interacting with the other horsie could have been a different key? And I think it would make more sense for the speech text to write out faster. Regardless, it was a really fun and clever game!
The art style of the character reminds me of my first game jam where my brother hand drew the main character as well as all the animations, I love it :D
I do think you tried to scope your game a little too big, you had large levels to travel through but i sort of wish they were smaller and designed around taking the robot with you everywhere you go so he can keep helping.
I got stuck by the chest with the bombs on it, i tried everything i could think of but i couldn't get out after i got the bombs.
I love how when going sideways the character is a straight up stick, i might steal the idea for a future game it gives off such a nice 2d effect, sad i couldn't get farther in the game i tried :(
here is mine: https://itch.io/jam/wowie-jam-4/rate/1664107
I think the game crashes when I try to enter the door thats after the first big area?
I'm a big fan of the concept, and i like the characters. It was a little hard to navigate in a huge open space, I feel like you could have benefitted from using the same idea in a more enclosed space where it's easier to plan around the random levitations, but that's just my opinion.
I played yours , great game! :D

hope you enjoy it.
I like the concept of having some control over both yourself and the AI, though it was sort of hard to use the AI:s shield and position so i just went around collecting things and letting him do his own thing. I think if you made it so the AI doesn't wonder off as far from you by itself then it'd be easier to grasb the overall state of the game.

GREAT GAME BTW! It was really addictive and well polished! I liked it a lot!

Yours was fun! Great work on the game juice
I've played a lot of creative games this jam but I can't think of a game that had a wackier idea than cat and toaster teaming up against the terror that is the hair driers, reading the description made me excited to try it and your game didn't disappoint. It was really fun to play, I felt like a character in a high action children's book!
This is my game, hope you will enjoy it! https://itch.io/jam/wowie-jam-4/rate/1664162
I will definitely check your game :)
I'm a little torn on your game to be honest. Your idea was unique, you delivered well on your core concept, and game was a nice challenge, but the physics movement made it feel really bad to lose and felt more lucky than rewarding when won, even if I tried to plan my route well in advance. I feel like the game would have worked better with more precise movement, or at least have the momentum aspect toned down some what.
Everything else was so good, the camera view, the concept, the graphics, the enemies, the shooting.. You made a very good game overall.
Cool concept! It was a little tedious to put down moves after the rounds were getting into the 4-5 action length, I think the game would have benefitted from a faster way to give commands, or at least save the commands from the previous attempt so you didn't have to put everything down from scratch every attempt? Anyways it was a fun time, I enjoyed planning out the commands!
https://dromous.itch.io/rooba-best-friend it's a short puzzle game
You can't just do me like this, I was starting to get invested in the story and then it just ends, wth man?
Even though it was short I enjoyed it a whole lot, never thought I'd say that about picking up my socks. The animation for player moving was really cool, and I was looking forward to more levels!
Here is mine, give it a try if you want: https://itch.io/jam/wowie-jam-4/rate/1664117
Here is mine, friend! :D https://itch.io/jam/wowie-jam-4/rate/1663734
Omg your camera work is amazing, you're legit single handedly making me want to open unity and try to replicate some cool camera movements o.o
Anyways I'm a big fan of dropping things, so it was a blast to do so and have someone else clean up my mess, fun game! Moving around felt a little clunky though.
finishing first game is huge! Well done dude!
Unfortunately I couldn't get the robot past the boxes in the first level, I tried brute forcing it, jumping through them, trying to separate them, seeing if I had secret weapons somewhere, I got through one time but not in time to make it to the pressure plate. Sorry I couldn't get farther to give you more feedback.
Cool game, rated!
Me and my partner made this game: https://itch.io/jam/wowie-jam-4/rate/1664340
It's a Tower Defense game with cards and a cute robot trying to help you—as your computer is getting attacked in the Circuit Circus.
Have fun!
Nice, game! I wish the game would let you go to next level after dying on a level if you beat over half of it, it felt a little bad to leave a level half cleared just to make sure I didn't die and have to redo it after i got past the 50% point. Game was well made, was properly challenging, and had a comforting asthetic to it.
Nice game, here's mine if you want to try it: https://itch.io/jam/wowie-jam-4/rate/1664117
cool game! Here Is Mine, it's about a Police officer Who finds robbers in a huge city with his partner Billy the robot https://tremorlives.itch.io/norman-the-police-officer-and-his-partner-billy-the-...
I couldn't find the rating page for your game, was it not uploaded in time for the jam?
I like the graphics and i like the idea, there was alot of waiting for the robot to move though. Wish it was more action packed rushing after robbers than waiting for my robo buddy to identify them, but I think you mentioned it was a little buggy at times so maybe that's the issue? Loved shooting down robbers in the city though!
here's mine https://itch.io/jam/wowie-jam-4/rate/1664067 I will definely check out yours, thanks you
It was a little difficult to understand the game and the objective, but after doing so it was fun trying to survive as long as possible.
I think changing the protective spell to something more shieldy would make it clearer that you are using it to protect, and then adding a more clear instruction to PROTECT THE DRAGON would go a long way in making the objective more clear. Fun game good submission!
Amazing visuals and audio! Every square inch of the game felt very nice and polished, it was a pleasure to move around the levels.
I spent way too long hitting the robot expecting the robot to drop and act as a step than i care to admit, but once I re read the instructions and understood the mechanic game was great.
Okay so... I'm color blind and cant tell the difference between yellow and green wire and it made this game a whole lot harder than it should have been :D
Ignoring that, wow. Amazing game, I love the dialogue, i love the concept, i love the graphics the sounds the bombs, whole package. If I had downloaded this for mobile in it's current state to try out a bomb diffusing game, I would not have been disappointed. Marvelous work!
It was fun! Sometimes it was very difficult to make the ball move, especially on ones where timing movement was important. I would highlight a yellow block and the ball would wait a few seconds and then start moving, it made timing levels very hard. The idea, gameplay visuals and sound was very good, and it was a fun puzzle experience over all.
this guy is gonna be up all night ._.
Play Cooperation Simulation: https://somewhat-nerd.itch.io/cooperation-simulation
Hope not all night :D
I absolutely love the visual take you have, the graphics are super clean, slick and specific to your game, all the way to the ui and ui animations I love all of it. The gameplay was pretty easy to break I think (or maybe I'm jus unlucky?) I kept dropping objects into the void or getting other people stuck in front of me, I think some glitch preventation would do alot of favors for the gameplay.
What a nice list you got here! Time to mess it all up with my own game https://trader-j0e.itch.io/sonrise
Your game is the first one I rated 5/5 on every category, it's my favorite game in the jam. I love the asthetic. I love the audio. I love the gameplay, it's simple it fits the theme and it was creative.
"Parts of it can be quite hard to complete, but I believe and so does the little robot!" if it wasn't for that sentence i would have given up on level 3, and I believed, and I did it, and it felt amazing. The "Level 4 woah" felt so good, knowing you acknowledged that level 3 was hard and took determination to get through.
Thank you for making this game.
