Game's Take on the Theme
The spin relics provide users with special abilities depending on how fast they spin. The only way to defeat a relic user is to spin their relic by force. Some spin based attacks for the bosses

Such a cool and well-balanced game! Despite all the particles on the screen, I was still able to keep everything under control. The music, visuals, and concept are all top-notch! Great job!

Fast and frantic, but simple. Really charming artwork to. Second boss took me a few tries but I powered through. Nice work!

Wow, I am super impressed, you got yourself a playable game with good balance! i was able to beat the game, but the samurai slashes were hard to overcome but I figured it out!

- If others read this, RATE/REVIEW my game to get me to try yours as well! Thanks!

Controls are intuitive gameplay is amazing and I like the tilted screen touch and animations are well thought. Great game overall and congratulations.

Damn that was awesome!! The graphics might be minimalist but they work so well to keep the combat clean. The boss attacks are fast pass but you feel like your character is responsive to keep up and they are telegraphed with such clear signs its very obvious where you need to stand to be safe. The music is awesome and the sounds effects flow super well. Very clean game here that is very satisfying to play!

Wow, this game actually surprised me a lot! I really love the sound of the charge shot! It blends with the music a lot which makes it so satisfying when shooting towards the enemy! Nice job!

Super polished gameplay with a lot of game feel, this was really fun! I was sad there were only three bosses, it was quite short. I loved the VFX and how the whole room would spin as well. Definitely quite a hard bullet hell in terms of dodging bullets, but the game does provide a substantial amount of health to keep it from being too hard. Last boss was a tougher challenge and took a couple attempts, which is great! Overall a very solid game that feels finished, if it wasn't so short haha. Great job!

Holllyyyy this game has some juice! It is so satisfying! Particularly, my favorite attack was the slash of the second boss, SO GOOD! Artwork is great, all the music and sfx are great, and did I already told that it felt GREAT? Well done!

I really liked the art, bosses, and attacks. Really good game

Amazing visuals and juicy feedback! Every boss attack looked incredible, and their patterns were really cool. I was getting hit constantly, but I appreciated the generous player health. I loved the idea of executing the bosses, though a cutscene before transitioning to the next scene would have been a great touch. I had a ton of fun with it!

JUST WOW! i had so much fun in this game! the music is very nice and the game is very polished! I'm looking forward for more bosses and maybe a hard mode!

the most thing i liked is the music getting intense when you reach the 2nd  half of the boss hp! i really liked it!

the only problem there isn't much spinning going on! although i will be waiting for a complete version of this game!

also please add a boss finishing animation after you complete the sequence

Your game was really fun! The telegraphing was pretty solid, but the big horizontal laser by the RADIANT TYRANT always got me hahaha. The sprites are pretty good and music is awesome! The second boss reminded me of Youmu Konpaku from the Touhou Series with so many slashes in the screen, it was pretty cool. Awesome job!

Your hit effects are juicy. It's cool and challenging. The second boss was my favorite one out of the three. Music was great as well. Cheers!

I’ve played many games in the Boss Rush genre, and I can definitely say that your game is very well done and matches this theme. The bosses attacks are very well designed, and the controls are easy to understand. In general, there were two things that impacted my experience. The aim, which, when moving, has a huge margin of error, so during gameplay, I had to aim most of the time not at the boss, but in the opposite direction in which I was moving, and that was enough to hit all the shots. Of course, it made the game easier, but I believe it would be better if the aim increased the difficulty. The second impact was the controls. Even though they were easy to understand, I defeated the first and second bosses, and when I reached the third, I remembered the buttons from the menu and that there was a dash. It would be nice if the controls appeared on the screen when the battle against the first boss began, or if there was a tutorial.

I also have some suggestions that would fit perfectly with the style of the game:

  • When you defeat a boss and it appears “stunned” on the ground, I was hoping there would be a cutscene of the boss death, reinforcing the game lore that “The cycle continues… until one warrior remains.”
  •  This game is very similar to games where you would try to do 100% without taking damage or try to score as many points as possible. A score system or a story during gameplay would be really cool.
  • A difficulty system, many players are unable to defeat some of the bosses, and on the other hand, many players have no problem defeating all the bosses without dying once.

Thank you for your feedback! Just a few things I wanted some clarification on:

You mentioned "it would be better if the aim increased the difficulty". What did you mean by that?

I think a tutorial could be a good idea, but what do you think about having the controls on the pause screen?

Submitted

Maybe I didn't use the right words, but what I meant is that, since the aim was "delayed" in relation to where you are aiming, you just had to do what I described and the game would become easier. And when I said "if the aim increased the difficulty", it's because aiming is generally something that demands skill.

I think menu controls would be a good addition to the game, but only if a tutorial wouldn't interfere with gameplay, because it's much easier to remember the buttons when you use them while playing.

Very fun, the feedback on the special attack was awesome! Boss attacks were fun, particularly the chrono reaver's slashes. One problem is that defeating the boss felt a little anticlimactic, cutting straight from the QTE to the Next screen, also the spin theme was a little hard to notice. Great work all in all

Fantastic little experience! Extremely hectic and fast-paced gameplay, no time to breathe, but also balanced really well (at least for me). The bosses are very distinct and have very cool movesets! I did get hit -a lot-, but the damage really isn't too punishing. Final boss took me three tries, and has a moveset that's both super chaotic and has a clear solution to it.

If there are any downsides, I think the 'spin' theme isn't really hitting, and the screen shake from the charged shot is wayyyy over the top and made me get hit fairly often. Still, this is one of the few games I've played this jam that I'm gonna keep saved to play in the future, lol.

The game is a visual frenzy, although the graphics in general are simple, the visual effects make up for it too much, it is very juicy. The controls are a little hard to rate for me, because I don't have a mouse, so left or right clicking while sliding my finger on the pad is difficult. But that's more of an issue for me than a general one, I'm sure for the average player they'll be fine.
