Maybe unusual to start my comments here, but I loved the sound of it - it really enhanced the game play. Movement also felt incredibly smooth and reactive. Interesting mechanics and tricky levels. Maybe a bit too tricky for me at the beginning (I wish it was easier for longer). Still, this is a great game and I hope you get to continue with it.
What a fun concept. I liked the mechanics and the puzzle levels. Had to get used to the movement a lot but it was a really fun game.
I had a lot of fun playing the game! Once I got the hang of the controls, it was fun to zip around
Very cool and unique combination of movement mechanics. Your usage of environmental objects like the light blue thingies and the cracks were really great for making the world rich, colorful, and allowing for extra jumps/ cool stunt opportunities.
I felt that maybe the camera might be a *bit* too jittery? Maybe I'm wrong, I love how fast it feels, but sometimes it feels difficult to read the text on screen because its moving around too much. That being said, your color palette decisions are off the charts good. You have a great sense of style and platformer level building. Can't wait to see where this one goes!
This game was awesome. I really like the fast movement and once I got a hang of the controls it was really fun to use both dashes to navigate the levels. Great job on the art and effects too the game looks really nice. I like that it got pretty challenging towards the end too, would've been nice if there were some optional collectibles that really cranked up the difficulty. I beat the game in 450sec, great work on this!
Nice entry, i had some difficulties with understanding for which things I should boost, and i got myself softlocked in the later level (it had bright surroundings, i think it was thime cathedral or something). Before the level started, where the countdown happened, i pressed left mouse button a couple of times so when the level started i was already in mid air falling to my death. Unfortunetly it saved when i was falling, so i couldnt recover myself.
Other than that a great entry, good job!
Very nice looking and nice mechanics.
the secondary dash feels a bit unnecessarily tricky imho, but i get the idea :)
Super fun to play on stream. Overall game design? Top notch. I love the visual design and the audio.
The movement controls game me a little bit of a challenge. Especially the timing on secondary dashes. Felt like sometimes I could double or triple dash because of the rifts, but other times it would finish out the dash before letting me do the second. Maybe a touch more rigid logic on when you can trigger each.
That aside though, I think you have something special here. Definitely would love to see you keep working on this. Cheers!
for the cracks you just dash and then just press right click of space immedietly
thanks for the feedback!!
This is a very challenging platformer. I really like the idea (as you can see from my game, I also implemented a dash mechanic) but I found the mouse control a little confusing and overall a little to difficult given the speed and tight expectations to make some jumps. I think its a difficult problem because I also tried allowing players to aim with the mouse and then decided to backtrack it so it’s all keyboard based. I saw you played mine and you seemed to like the mechanics, I’d love to hear more of your thoughts on my control scheme. I’m still debating and may change it for next round if I make it.
Such a good game, feels very polished. Well done :D
It's gorgeous! Feels very unique to control.
Well made game, I enjoyed it
This is an example of a submission of the first round man, this game is perfection!
Good challenge! Jumping around really makes you feel good about your reflexes, and the challenge was fair (and well tested! I didn't find any bugs during my play, well done!)
I wanted to play the ""secret level"" in the area between levels, but my goofy ahh would accidentally bump into the next mission portal.
Great job, also loved the main character almost folding on itself instead of simply flipping when changing moving direction -- a nice arty touch.
One last feedback -- I would suggest either making the character move a little slower, or achieving a similar effect, as sometimes I would exit out of the "projectile" state and simply die because of how fast I could move (you may also call it a skill issue on my end)
All the best!
Very juicy abilities, love the speed/distance trade off. Good length for a jam game too, didn't feel too long.
One of the best games ever.
First off, this game is hard, but very rewarding once you get the hang of it. Very well designed levels, gameplay-wise and art-wise.
Best I could do after some attempts is 186

Also just noticed that there is a practice area in the garden past the hole. Very nice!
Cool game and nice work all around! Would definitely want to see more epic stuff rising from this. Good job!
neat game visually speaking it's eye catching. the gameplay is superb tho Im not very good at the no movement mechanics of it. also sometimes if you got too close in a wall the projectile you spawned will get destroyed so leaving stuck in a wall. like step sis. (sorry, I had to say it.)
my only suggestion is that the text could do a bit more fixing since it feels like its blending with the background its hard to see it sometimes. too many bright things.
Yoo, for sure 5 out 5. Controls are very smooth (i needed some time to figured it out how they work, but then i was destroying those level :). Levels was really well made. they are so different and yet interseting. It was a challenging experience and i really enjoyed playing it. Well done!
