This is a great interpretation of the Jam THEME! I really loved how I started planning ahead and strategizing for each move! You have created quite the winner here! Amazing Job!

A really clever and well-executed take on the theme! I had a lot of fun strategizing my next move, and loved that the other players' cards aren't revealed until first-use. Looked and sounded great as well. Fantastic work!
Wow! We loved playing this game! The concept is so well designed, we were always thinking our next move since we shared life. Super interesting! Thank you so much!
I love the idea! It's like a more interesting version of Love Me Not. Showing total status affects applied is needed imo. Also the audio clips in an odd and unpleasant way?
Question, how do I know when the hand will reset? I keep thinking I have to play them all once but that's not always the case.
Great game idea! I didn't really understood at first how I could win, if I shared the hp-bar with the enemie. When I finally understood I had very much fun with this game.
Good job!
I love the clever concept of sharing the lifebar, great idea. My only issue was that it needs some better balancing of the status effects vs outright attacks, I found myself mostly just using the strongest attacks and a heal option to try to manipulate the healthbar. I'm sure given more time this would have been able to be better addressed.
Still a great game idea.
*Me reading the description*
Description: "Turn based RPG"
Me: Okay. No problem!
Description: "you and your opponent are sharing the same lifebar"
Me: .... wait. WHAT? O_o
BRILLIANT. That's the most original concept I've seen so far AND it's well executed! I was really involved when I tried to gauge the amount of strength I should use based on my prediction on the slime's move. 2 Player mode will be GOLD.
That was EPIC! :D
I'm a sucker for turn-based RPGs. I loved this. My biggest complaint is that I never once paid attention to status effects, buffs, or debuffs. The UI really needs some work to communicate that information better with a good visual hierarchy. Aside from that, I loved the concept of sharing health with the enemy, it made for some interesting combat. If you continue development post jam, polish the UI, and you'll have something awesome. I really loved this, well done!
Original concept! Pretty fun to play. This game got me thinking if it's possible to make a perfect ai for this game given the card set and his enemy card set lol, maybe with recursion or DP. Great game!
The game idea is intersting, but could use some extra work. Right now, most of the healthbar feels pointless (roughly past the point of the total damage of your and your opponent's highest damaging cards). baiaooo did have some suggestions in his comment, but I'm going to add maybe playing around with the card mechanic a bit more. Like, maybe you only have 3 cards in your hand, and those you've played won't come back until you've exhausted your deck?
I enjoyed the deckbuilding aspect, which also meant that the order you fought the enemies in mattered, as a card you can get from one enemy might be really helpful against another.
In the original concept, the card wouldn't come back before exhausting the deck, but I changed it because it felt too restrictive and there was turn where you wouldn't had any decision to make. And having only three cards who limits options a bit too much
Most of the healthbar being useless is indeed a big problem of the game current design, but I have other ideas to fix it.
Thanks for the feedback anyway, I really appreciate it ! And I'm glad you liked the deckbuilding part, I'm pretty proud of it x)
This game reminds me of that counting game where each player says a number to add to a total and try to reach a certain number. The fact that it's a card game makes it really unique and interesting to try and strategize your way through!
