Wow this is so cool!!! I love the idea!
Really enjoyed the game once I figured out I was supposed to zoom in and not draw everything in space! Certainly an ambitious set of mechanics to use for a game jam but you pulled it off really well. Only thing is I don't really feel rewarded for getting the scale of things right, but it's not a gamebreaker :)
Really inventive idea with zooming in/out of the illustrations, and a dataset img recogniser is really impressive for just a few days. Nice job!
That is pretty neat. I love the freedom to draw whatever I want and though when I drew something out of proportion for fun I won vs when I tried really hard to get it right I completely failed. It was not clear that I need to change the environment (the background) so that the scale of my drawing can be evaluated correctly. It is really cool how you save the image and allow me to see what others have done.
Thanks for streaming our game \o/ We really needed the live playtests to spot and prioritize what to improve!
very fun idea, love seeing other people’s guesses ! The only thing is I got several drawings I already drew, which was just a bit annoying, other than that it was well made !
Oh, do you mean the other people's drawings at the end or the name of the object you had to draw?
It is so fun ! i love the concept :)
Have a great time with it! very creative and fits the theme well. My gf asked for more colors 😅
Suggestion noted! Thanks :)
This game looks super polished :O. The idea is super creative and I can imagine that adding for example different game modes that it could become a great party experience with your friends and family. The controls are intuitive and easy to understand.
One small thing: I found the music a bit too loud for the default settings.
Great Idea!
Thanks for the kind works and the valuable feedback!
It could be indeed fun to add more multiplayer options like the garlic phone game.
We really need to polish the music a bit more, the volume is not homogeneous everywhere and it is indeed loud for the default value :/
Also if other read this comment, do play this guy game, it's really good!
Very creative concept, love the zooming in and out of things
Very fun game, I feel like there are 2 games in one: guess the size and try to make the most beautiful drawing, it's really very cool and I think your choice of colour and object are well chosen 🔵⚪️🔴😜
Incredibly cool and creative, really nice concept. Navigating between different scales is smooth and the prompts are varied enough, but I would make the text smaller, or maybe add an option to hide it (maybe there is, haven't found it), since on smaller screen like in web - it covers a lot of drawing area :)
You are so right! and believe me, we had planned to add even more snarky comment during the game from our beloved Cavendish but had no clue where to put them :D
Very cool idea! The zooming in on my touchpad felt too sensitive so a bit finicky to navigate between zoom levels. But the rest is absolutely fantastic. I don't know how well I drew but the banana seemed satisfied :)
Thanks for your comment. I agree the controls should have been more polished, especially since we planned on releasing on web-gl. We sadly did most of our testing in the unity editor so some bugs were found out too late ^^'
Would you need a slider, a +/-button, or would making the zoom less sensitive would be enough for the trackpad?
I think it's the sensitivity, it was too sensitive. I wouldn't use a slider necessarily because using two finger slide to zoom feels very natural
noted, tyvm!
Man It's actually impressive to get online working in such a time frame. Well done!
we could dedicate 2 programmers to that since there were 5, but it still was no walk in the park, especially since we selfhost everything! I spend a night on SSL and certificates things T_T
its a funny concept, the execution is great but i was hoping for a few more levels/story/progression! The UI and art is really good.
True, I nonetheless would like to take a moment for our dev that spend her Monday night (she had work the following day) cropping and clipping all of the 40+ objects in this game.
As well as the artist that hand-drawn every background, it was really rough on them during those few days :p
Nice idea! I like how you show the drawing of other people.
Thanks! Don't say it to anyone but we plan on releasing some pictures with the best drawings near the end of the jam :D
I always love drawing games, I like the scale in and out mechanic!
Cute game :V very impressive scope for just 4 days
Thanks! I remember the team saying our scope was maybe a bit small after the brainstorming session...we made it with 10 minute left lol!
counting the time extension! xD
At first I didn't understand and thought it was a joke (didn't know you could zoom in), still I liked it. Then I saw that you could zoom in, I started playing and I loved the game!! Really nice!
Super creative idea and fantastic execution! I love seeing the drawings by other people near my melted blobs too :D
Absolutely love the art style. I also love how it showcases work of other people. (I'm assuming haha)
Yes you are right, it was hellish to pack the multiplayer aspect in this jam :D Also people may have not noticed but you can also rate the drawing of other by clicking on the thumbnails!
