Wow! Very nice work. Everything from the retro graphics and computers to the audio give a very surreal look and vibe to your game. I'm very impressed by the amount of detail you were able to put into this game. Very well done!
Very nice work! It reminds me of modded Minecraft with the machines and blocky outputs. It would be helpful if the assembler displayed the content and the progress toward the required amount for the recipe.
Amazing art style, you have done great work
Incredible visuals and gritty, lo-fi vibes! The gameplay of combining materials into a product is solid, but I would love to see a little more variety in how the different types of materials are assembled. Overall, really impressive work for a jam!
super good looking game, and the overall ambiance was on point ඞ
The stylization and physics are so impressive that I was completely blown away—I’d love to know how it was done so I could try it myself. The concept of building tiny things for tiny people is both quirky and fun, and the whole setup really draws you in.
The idea of using a computer terminal for guidance is cool, but I think the interface could be more thematic. Since the machines have that analog vibe, something like a paper notebook, blueprints, or even posters above the machines could add an extra layer of atmosphere and make the experience even more immersive. Overall, it's a fantastic game with a lot of charm. Great work!
This was awesome. The style is on point, the interface was really cool, the idea was fun, the mechanics felt smooth. I have no complaints about this, it felt like a fully finished game. Really well done!
Quite hard to understand all in game, but then it's fun.
Also the level itself and all assets look really good.
First I felt a bit overwhelmed but I managed to figure most stuff out, very immersive way of presenting the instructions. Couldn't manage to make the steel plates though. Filled the vatmixer with iron and carbon but nothing happened. Great style though!
Ah, yeah, sorry about that ^^; Ran out of time to add all the recipes I wanted to, so focused on just what you needed to make the House. I should have taken the iron and carbon objects out of the scene really ^^;
Also I see others had problem with finding the house recipe, that wasn't a problem for me at least. I struggled more with looking for steal plates cause I didn't know you had to craft them so I used iron first (which didn't work obviously).
Very nice! Took me a bit of time to get the hang of it, but it's very impressive and it looks great too. Well done :)
This game has just the right amount of puzzle challenge for a short GameJam game. I enjoyed my time here, and the visuals added a really cool retro charm! Nice work!
Nailed the style. Great atmosphere. Controls are smooth and intuitive, UI is clean and helpful. Just the right balance between lack of instruction and helpful nudges. I immediately felt challenged by the problem in front of me but not overwhelmed. It seems like you had a strong sense for what you wanted the player to experience and how to accomplish that.
Really nice. Reminds me of modded minecraft with the machines and blocky output.
Would be nice if the assembler shows the content and out of how many are required for the recipe
That... would have been very smart xD ...hadn't thought of that!
Nice work! Played and discussed on stream here if you want to see first impressions & thoughts
Thanks! Watching the stream made me realise maybe the house recipe was harder to find than I thought >.< lol
Definitely could have made the terminal a little easier to use.
Was so relieved when you finally found it ^^;
But yeah, thanks for playing! A lot of your suggestions were things I was already planning, but ran out of time to implement ^^; Ended up having to copy and retexture the Assembler to make the other machines, they originally had separate designs lol
Rewatching, it makes perfect sense that the recipe would be under schematics and then products, but I think I was expecting the top option of the terminal menu (assembler setting) to tell me the recipe, and in my head the products schematics was showing that list of components.
I can't believe I didn't accidentally open the products menu when jumping round the terminal! :D
Very satisfying. I never knew how to build a house before today.
I had a hard time finding the recipe initially but once I found it I really enjoyed the game. So much so that I spent an extra 5 minutes or so after beating it just crafting random items and mashing the resupply button repeatedly
Not easy to find the “recipe” but I finally found it (might have had a bug with my keyboard at first, idk, I press shift and it was changing the menu in the computer) and built a house, hurray!
This is one of the most visually coherent 3D games of this jam for sure, amazing work. I liked the retro style interface of the terminal, and I feel this could have high skill ceiling (with some added recipes), when players know the steps to make the various product by heart and start running all the machines simultaneously.
I couldn't figure out what to do, but the graphics and control is really nice, I really like throwing stuff around and mixing random stuff up, I find it very hard to read the guide in the tiny retro pc, and I think it would be nice to make some tutorial, Great game tho! ^^
I don't know if I will ever own a house in real life, so this was kind of cathartic lol. I like this kind of games, I enjoyed the experience and the retro style. I guess for now the House is the only available schematic, probably to fit in the time span of the jam, but I'd like to see the idea expanded. There's a little glitchness with the mouse capture but it's expected with a first person web build on Godot, not a problem anyway. I really enjoyed it, nicely done.
lol, yeah I had to scale back the scope of my game drastically in order to get it finished in time. Am hoping to work on it further and turn it into a full release at some point though!
