How does your game fit the theme?
You build a REALLY large ladder to "scale" up to heaven! Also the voice actor said the thing!

first game to cause me physical pain of the jam, that's an achievement i feel
For real though, quite nice vibes, the way everything comes together to support the dialogue makes it both pretty intriguing lore-wise with a backbone (haha) of comedy. It might sound kinda contrary to the point, but I do think an accessibility option to use the scrollwheel or drag the cursor instead of just clicking would be nice, as it did genuinely give me a hand cramp lol. Still, definitely a nice game for the feeling and vibes alone, and the voice acted lines make it way greater than just a clicker game, good job!
insert bad to the bone guitar riff here
man, if only i could get the licensing...
Voice was great - loved the puns
Experience looked great!
As a fun click to hear jokes experience it was dead on.....
Thanks!
I enjoyed it. You know I like to think that this would be exactly the dialog of my protagonist if instead of old school noir I would have pick a western. It would be nice if there would be some better camera action as you clicking a ladder and panning upwords with mouse is the same input so you can't really see the ladder going upwords for the most time unless you extend you're play by panning every few meaters. But overall I had fun with the witty and not so witty humor :D [ also maybe a height counter could be nice and putting the progress bar on the side with a ladder texture ;) ]
Yeah the camera thing is a good point, I was half lazy but also half expecting it to cause people to rush through the game way too fast and not slow down and look.
Felling magic in my bones rn
Cool models for 48 hours! I built the whole ladder! Would have liked to see what you really wanted to do with the game.
My poor clicking bones! I could've just built an ossuary at the bottom and made myself comfortable. Fun experience.
this was delightful. really love interactive little experiences like this, super creative take! jams like these need more narrative focused games, lots of unexplored design space there.
Damn really good vo as for jam game. Visual are cool, but the best thing in the game is humour. Is it cringe? Yes. Were the jokes good to the bones? Hell yeah. Great job!
It was a lot of clicking but I managed to get our skeleton friend to the top 💀
I don't have any bones to pick with this game, the writing was very humerus
vibes are IMMACULATE
This was funny as hell, presentation is cool and has some vibes to it. Pretty fun clicker with some funny comments from the skeleton
Cool little clicker lol
The humour was cringe AF and I loved it. I wish there were more jokes
The presentation as a whole was cool. I like the hellish-western vibe you were going for here.
As a whole, there isn't much I can say. It's a fun little clicker. Gave me a good chuckle as well lol. Great job on this
Dunno why this guy would want to leave The Bone Zone but who am I to judge a calcuim comrade? Game tickled my funny bone and left my fingers with carpal tunnel but it was worth it to help a boney buddy out
As soon as bone man said 'this situation is rather humerus' I knew this was the best jam game
So, the game presentation is really cool, and it’s nice to see such a quality voice acting in a jam game!
The gameplay… well, I used my laptop’s touchpad to quickly tap with 2 fingers, and I still wasn’t fast enough to not get pauses between voicelines. Which means that if a person plays casually and with the mouse, they’ll spend a lot of time just sitting and clicking with nothing happening.
I would probably change the gameplay to something more engaging and less click-y. Maybe you need to time the clicks on some rhythm. Or maybe when you build a segment it creates a small zone at the top of it, and you need to click and hold on that zone to build a new segment. That way you would also need to scroll up as you build, instead of just clicking wherever.
As far as the experience goes, it was pretty fun. Good job!
The pauses in between voicelines are entirely intentional! Thanks for the feedback!
Fun experience, story, talking , but the game part is a bit dry, a bit more game and this would have been awesome
The game does seem pretty dry, wonder if they have any water over there?

What I liked
The skeleton had nice well voice acted lines with good mic quality. The environment and feedback was quite juicy and there was enough variance that I didn't feel bored doing a very repetitive action. The top progress bar was a nice touch. The player feedback when clicking the ladder was also good with it shaking a little.

Overall Thoughts
With such a simple game and premise and clean execution I find myself in a hard spot when attempting to figure out what to critique or give as for advice. If you held a gun shaped bone to my head I guess I would have to say that the Itch.io page could use a bit more of a thematic face lift, I would have maybe liked to seen it with a hellish background and a paper-style wanted poster foreground to fit the more western aesthetic of the skele man. Overall a pretty fun time.
Ahh... finally a game good to the bone. The skeleton's dialogue was quite funny
my hand hurts.
