good puzzle <3
Very nice concept. Even though our games look very different, the concepts are pretty similar. If you choose to develop this further, I would suggest some UX changes that I think helped the feel of what I did when I implemented them.
More than anything, bring the concept of the reference die closer to the player. I've found my eyes darting left (to the player) and right (to the reference die) a lot when doing the movement math. If you could make it happen all in place (perhaps by highlighting a field you can go to in each direction, and maybe go a step further allowing the user to calculate the next move from that field (i hope the image explains it). This would make for a much more direct movement experience.
Good job on completing this in 2 days. I've had fun trying to collect coins.
Cool puzzle game, and thank you very much for allowing the player to spin.
I like the concept. My game had a similar solution for displaying what adjacent die faces are :) I do think that moving the options closer to the player would have been helpful, since there's a lot of going back and forth counting spaces.

Thanks for the video review! Yes, the game has no end and no goal yet ... well it was 48 hours, but it was fun! I really liked watching you "think" while exploring the game, that is a very welcome feedback on how new players perceive the game.
Fun concept! The music was also great. Other obstacles and a goal might be better. Nice game overall, though!
A nice concept, lots of potential.
Having the move options closer to the player would help having to switch your vision or as avigs said use a visual aid
I wonder if you could introduce some deadly squares or other obstacles to allow you to ramp up the challenge as you collect more coins
Easy to pick up and play, but didn't really have any sense of progression or excitement. Could have used more elements to keep it feeling fresh.
cool mechanics and cute music that fits the game, but I wish there were a goal.
OHHHH, you can rotate the dice as you go around. Ah, that helps alot, really neat concept!
The mechanics of this game were great, and I liked it very much after I figured out the rotation movement! Overall, was very nice, but there might be a little room for more obstacles and other things the player could explore! I liked it!
BEST OF LUCK:)
P.S. Check out our game too!
The mechanic was pretty interesting, but once you understand how to get to a coin pretty fast, it kind of gets pretty boring, adding some different things like obstacles could have helped with that.
I spent almost around 100 - 150 moves to get one coin, and then I saw I can rotate the movement dice...! Got to play plenty of these games on jam, but this bring a special thing in the posibility of rotation of movement dice. And that's why had to save this game for later!
Nice relaxing feel, but could use a little something more to keep things interesting. Once you figure out the rotate mechanic it's pretty straightforward.
This idea is brilliant and really unique and I was so happy when I finally get my first coin :D
Great job!
I like how relaxing the game feels! I did find it a little frustrating and repetitive - I think it could benefit from an additional mechanic.
Great job!
It was peaceful, but I feel it could have been more engaging by removing the rotate ability and just constraining the map to about 7 moves in any direction. That would make the game more of a puzzle game of how to get to the coin than a game about using dice rolls to just get around the map. I did enjoy the rotate ability however, as it really helped to not constantly overshoot the coin. This was a well made simple game.
Fun relaxing game, almost like snake with strategy, cool concept! Would've been nice with an in-game tutorial, as it was a bit overwhelming at first.
Nice game. I'm not big on (or good at :p) puzzlers, but I really liked the calm and relaxing presentation and the cheerful character you controlled. Nice way to use the theme.
