Take care of the farm i.e. water fields, harvest and put the crops in the boxes on the right; Water drops: The field needs water; Scribble: The field has withered and no longer produces plants + needs water to restore
How does your game tie into the theme?
every now and then a void comes and destroys the fields, water the field to restore it

The concept is great, but I feel like the execution could have been better.
The art styles are clashing, you should pick one style and stick with it. Even if you're not good at art you should at least try it yourself instead of using pre-made assets. It probably isn't as bad as you think. Remember that YOU are your biggest critic.
Also, AI music is against the rules. Once again, just try it. It's not that hard to make a simple beat.
You have my encouragement. So use it wisely.
I can't in good faith rate this game because it uses AI generated music, and AI generated work is explicitly against the rules of the jam. Please use human-made assets next time </3
It was a really fun game I enjoyed the music and graphics and the little characters is very cute altho I did come across some bugs I can use the bucket to water 2 flower beds at the same time (II don't know if was intended or a feature but it was cool) I liked the void and the purple background and only problem was that the screen was too big for my laptop and I had to scroll left or right to see the bucket or the baskets
Mechanically, it's very good and original... Farming sim but with added stress.
That say I think there's too much obstacles stacking. The water being far away from the field already limit how much we can water the plants, but since it also take a few seconds to fill back, that put another hard limit on water potential. And since the field lose water very fast, it can quickly become overwhelming.
Anyway, good game
A very original game with excellent graphic quality. I see that you are also new to this jam :). Well done and good luck for the future
This was very cute and unique!
The controls were a bit clunky, but the power-ups were interesting and well implemented.
Very cute game, very different aesthetic from other submissions.
I just wish there was more happening between levels, the difficulty seemed to get slightly easier, but just more tedious over time. I think fewer levels with a bigger focus on progression and balance would have made it better.
The arrows earlier on were a really good hint to get me started in the right direction, although I didn't stumble with the controls before I read all of them on the game page.
Nice game, I like the SFX and the soundtrack
the core mechanics are pretty addictive and I've had fun with it but I think the controls could have been a bit more polished, maybe at least add WASD keys
Good job!
Great game overall, i enjoyed it, but i'm not so sure about how this fits the theme.
I lke the sprite! Was able to pick up and deposit vegetables fine, but could not figure out if spawning multiple empty buckets was normal. Didnt end up being able to water the plants XD
Cool farming implementation. The theme implementation with the void feels a little bit random. The graphics and audio fit very well!
Fullscreen doesn't work, select canvas_item stretch in settings.
If you put 2 buckets in the same place and lift you'll get only one bucket.
'select canvas_item stretch in settings'
ahhhh that's great advice, thank you!
Firstly I found your game idea cool, I don't play farmers but I like this one, i liked your art style too, as for the elitle void hole that appears.
The environment and the music do transfer the same cool vibe, really well done !
It would be cool to resize it to less into itch so we can just hit the full screen butotn, her it does not appear, and so it's impossible to go past level 3 ..
I would love to hear what you have to say about my game !
for a first entry, I really had a lot of fun!
the music choice was really perfect, half farming sim half existential void sucking nightmare :D congrats
The farm is big, and I quickly got my favorite plant I was trying to water the most (looking at you turnips). The void was a nice element for variety.
Very nice presentation, on both audio and visuals.
The gameplay gets a bit stale, since you are basically repeating the same thing over and over again, without much thought or reward.
But everything worked as intended and I encountered no bugs or issues, so huge props for that.
Congratulations on your first GWJ!
Hi! First of all, there's a slight problem when the game is run at 4K; the foggy border doesn't move when the window is resized, so the center of the playfield was obscured when I had the window maximised.
Besides that, good work on your first entry! The music is very chill given how frantic it feels - I was scrambling to figure out how to keep my crops alive for a little bit.
Hmm, having an issue making it unplayable? The game loads, but immediately shows the pause menu, and doesn't let me leave it? I hear music, the screen scales if i change the size, but it's just none of the keys shown, or mouse clicks or ESC or anything are responsive. Playing on Pop_OS Linux, in FireFox, 1080x1920 resolution. Music sounds nice though :)
the menu disappears on its own... after 15 seconds (maybe a bit too long :P)
But you can also press "P" and it will go away :)
I tried P, as well as left the game up for the whole time i was typing the replay, taking the screenshot, etc. It didn't go away unfortunately. Could just be Firefox, it can be wacky i've found. I'll try on another.
Game is fun, although the interpretation of the theme is quite loose. I think with some game balance, extra mechanics and decision-making - the game could be really addicting!
