Description
Set in the electronic genre with some inspirations from trance, composed for a 2D sidescrolling game, driven by its story. Made in LMMS with a few VSTs, the most notable being Vital and Synth1.
"Initialize": Introduction to the premise, characters and themes of the game, in a cutscene when starting.
"Net Stroll": Area theme, for when our character goes around the Internet and learning about humans.
"Divided": The player fights and evil version of themselves in a simple but fast-paced battle.
"Ascension": Last area before the final boss. Player goes up vertical rooms, with the Internet landscape in the background, getting smaller and smaller.
"Keys of Creation": The player fights their creator, in a boss battle combining abstract, code-themed attacks, and dealing with loss of control over their character.
"Observation": Ending theme. The player witnesses the conclusion of the story.

Hi! Falcon Nova, known as lowGAME when making music, here! This was my first OST Jam. I had a lot of fun, despite not having a lot of time to actually think everything through and polish as much as I'd wanted. This was a huge challenge for me, and I hope you'll enjoy the results as much as I did producing them!
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
I felt like "Inside my world" implies a world parallel to the one we know. This interpretation directed this EP; an entity know as AN, living in the digital world, its "own" world, observing and learning from us humans. As such, the collection of tracks take an electronic and digital theme, and aim to the story of how an artificial intelligence watch us humans, from its own world.

You can really feel the influence from trance and electronic music in general, and I really like the idea, which fits perfectly with a 2D video game! I recommend writing a more detailed introduction to the game's plot because it would help highlight the music better and fully imagine it within the game. Regarding the mix and synth programming, there's nothing to criticize; everything is very clear and well done. 😊
Very unique style for this jam, and you were able to complete a lot of tracks in the time frame! My favorite was Divided.
I'm close to 60 votes in, and have not heard anything like this yet, so extra points.
Love the interpretation of the theme and where you went with this! Initialize is my favourite of them all, something those 5 notes, just super entranced by this!
You nailed it! I really enjoyed listening to all the OSTs, but my favorite is Net Stroll. Great work! ❤
The Net Stroll and Ascension really stood out to me more. The theme throughout each track stayed consistent and they all fit well with each other but also give something different with the direction, flow and vibe. Nice work.
Probably one of my favorite submissions, a really uniquely composed demonstration of talent.
Initialize: The opening melody sequence reminds me of a computer starting up which works well for your theme, reading your description after!
Net Stroll: The sound gets really nice and full in this track. The chippy sounds and the falling arpeggios make it sound like rainfall which adds to some of the musical imagery of the type of area you are setting.
Divided: The harmonic progression in this track is really unique and adds in both major and minor sounds to create a complex array of emotions that blurs the lines between good and evil.
Ascension: The opening chord sequence feels uplifting when played on top of the 3rd scale degree, giving a sense of hope despite being written in a minor key. You backed off on the drums here which I think gives a good change in pace to the soundtrack.
Keys of Creation: I think the energy of this one made it my favorite! Your idea for the actual boss fight in the game is really interesting and would be very frustrating and fun as the player!
Observation: I like the return of the main theme at the end and the minor cadence to conclude it is very fitting for your story.
Overall: Welcome to the wonderful community of OST jams! Your strength is your beat-writing for sure. I’m impressed with the clarity, variation, and quality of your percussion throughout. Well done and thank you for sharing!
Keys of Creation and Net Stroll have nice drives with the kick, I could imagine doing some fun 2D platforming to these tunes. Good job!
This is great work! Wonderfully mixed and orchestrated! I would say my highlight is Keys of Creation because it reminds me of F-Zero lol.
Well done friend!
Great work! I specially enjoyed "Net Stroll", with its buildup until the uplifting chord progression around the first minute mark, and the hypnotic "Ascension" initial drone section.
I liked it a lot. I think some tracks could use a bit more variation, but it's more of a nitpick. I especially liked the first track, and the arpeggios in Divided
Oh, you made it in LMMS! I used LMMS a lot before switching to FL studio. Big respect from me for that.
I like the pacing and interesting interpretation of the theme.
Cool tracks, you have a good sense of how to arrange your tracks, how to manage your pacing and build up in general good job on that. In terms of composition I think you have good ideas but some of the chords and melodies a clashing a little bit together and sometimes i'm losing where its going. For the mix, I think its sound really well just some minor inconsistencies like in Divided the kick drum is good but its getting overwhelmed by pads and starts to get muddy the more we listen to it, try to clear some space and Observation is way lower in terms of volume compared to all the other tracks. A part from that good job !
Really cool and consistent! Your take on the theme is really unique and the music fits really well, having that digital vibe while but also not being too conventional. Good job!
This is pretty solid all-around. I would maybe revisit the composition on Division and look a bit more at mixing (not that I am necessarily one to talk). But incredibly good use of theme and this one deserves to stand out for making such effective use of synth pop to start with. Fells very cyberpunk.
Net Stroll was pretty excellent.

Really creative take on the theme! I like the idea of seeing humans from the perspective of a digital entity. There were a couple moments that got my head bobbing (Net Stroll and all of Keys of Creation). Great beats. Keys of Creation is probably the standout track for me. On the surface it's a relatable dance track but it's got that uncanniness of the digital subject. Thanks for making and sharing!
A lot of great energy in these tracks. Nicely done.
I don’t normally like electronic soundtracks, but this was really nice to listen to! it really sells the game idea well! nice work!
"Initialize" builds up a nice sense of energy and has nice varied rhythm.
"Net Stroll" has a cute chiptuney intro but really picks up when the synths come in. The synths coming in after the middle chiptune transition are especially bombastic.
"Divided" has a quick tempo and would really fit an action stage well.
"Ascension" feels a bit more laid back. The pads ducking with the drum beat towards the end creates a cool pulse.
"Keys of Creation", nice beat which really conveys energy. Really moment when when the keys come in as the drum beat resumes.
"Observation" builds tension for most of the song before suddenly concluding with silence followed by a gentle piano melody. I really liked the tension, but TBH I was hoping it would build up to a dramatic moment rather than a gentle piano melody.
