Ohhh Danmaku game, didn't expect that. Solid art, great idea!
DAMN I LOVE THE VISUALS AND SOUND, love the megaman esque death effect, and the final boss in SPACE also the ending screen where you become a boss (kinda)
Excellent game! The art style was incredible and the use of the theme felt really well implemented as a core game mechanic rather than a gimmick. The difficulty was also really well balanced and I'm glad that you included a tutorial as the controls would otherwise be quite difficult to intuitively know. Congratulations!
I don’t have anything to add that hasn’t been said already, but I still have to say it—excellent game!
Very creative take on the theme, and I especially love the difficulty. It’s challenging but fair, never frustrating. I really enjoyed this one.
Fantastic submission. I love how you managed to ship an entire package with a narrative, great art, banging soundtrack and solid gameplay in a small game jam. Excellent work!
I like the way you implemented the tutorial, its really useful to understand very well the mechanichs, I like the consistancy of the music in all the stages, really good game!
I really enjoyed the retro music! It reminds me of ridge racer, I love ridge racer.
Great game! I loved the aesthetics work put on the menu and the backgrounds, really stunning. I also love how it gives magical girl vibes; if it were a cartoon, I’d totally check it out. I think the story has a lot of potential and I’d curious to see what a sequel would bring. It’s very fun to play too, and definitely gave me a bit vertigo, haha! A total work of art!
Music - The music is pretty relaxing and the SFX are very on point! giving us that arcade feeling which speaks very well with the pixelated art style
Art - Astonishing!! the game has pretty good visuals and a very good thematic
Controls - As a Keyboard user it was a bit hard to have the coordination of the arrow keys to proper enjoy the mechanics but i think it should be way smoother in a joystick/controller
Overview - The game has a simple yet effective game loop executed right and the art/music speaks really well with the intended concept!! Congrats on the work
Super highly polished!
Very solid core mechanics, Jam difficulty and level select were also very player friendly.
I already said this on the actual game post, but I forgot to rate it. Extremely polished game, and a very creative take on the theme. Amazing work!!
Ladies cute, Martini cute, Margarita Cute, Bloody Mary Cute, Side Car Cute, Blue Lagoon cute![](https://img.itch.zone/aW1nLzE5NzA4NTY5LmpwZw==/original/kHKxmy.jpg)
Ordinarily I'd say something nice and then give a critique. My only critique is that the vertical movement didn't really seem necessary which made the bosses feel mildly trivial at times
Everything else is absolutely stunning. Masterpiece art direction, wonderful engaging music, simple responsive controls. Absolutely stunning.
The most rated game up until now for a reason. I guess this will go high up in ranking! Your take on the theme was great, and your art is fantastic
This is so good I ended up playing it again even after rating it. GG
Cocktail waifus. Need more Martini. Perfect Entry 10/10
A hidden gem, 10/10
Simple and fun!!!
Really nice game and concept!
Pretty much a perfect game jam submission. I've very rarely played a jam game that was this perfectly balanced in terms of difficulty, it was tough enough to be tense all the way through, while not being discouraging in any of the difficulty. Beating every boss felt like an absolute cathartic triumph, and I love the presentation of it all. Managed to beat the final boss first try which felt amazing! Absolutely phenomenal job, I don't even know if I have enough constructive criticism because I just loved the game that much
