Well done. Can do with some animations to make it more exciting. Nice submission.

My apologies for being so bad at your game, I tried.

Very interesting. The dialogue has a lot of personality which is a big plus for me. The game got me pretty absorbed for a while! The music fit well with the mysterious carnival setting. I ended up kinda giving up after getting stuck at the same place a few times, but I might come back and try again! Really neat game, nice work!!

It does have a winning ending, though it's not nearly as elaborate as I would have liked since we ran out of time. If you did have extra time I might appreciate any feedback you might have about it,  and if I have extra time I might try and see if I could beat 48 or even 60 points in that cool game you have there!

Ooh I found it! Still didn't manage anything with stand 3 though, so maybe not 100%? But fresh eyes definitely helped. I saw the rubber duck dialogue before but I somehow dismissed it as flavor text, so I managed the one-eyed-teddy ending. And I'd love to see what you can do, but we've both upped our games... I've managed 56, and Parth somehow got 125 after someone in the comments beat his score lmao

To add on, I think it's got a lot going for it already and I can easily picture it as a full game with more paths, multiple endings, secrets, etc.

Following so I'll get to see if you expand it :)

Appreciate it very much, I may consider to improve it in the future after the jam, really appreciate your follow as well.

Oh and one more thing---I wasn't sure if this was too obscure to put in but the humor reminds me a bit of mother 3, which is notably on of my all time fav games

So interesting, I actually didn't play it, but I think it has something to do with Earthbound, and heard great things about it, so I may consider to play everything that has to do with that stuff since I heard all of it's really good.

Yeah that one eyed teddy is the only ending to win for now. Like I said, it's not as elaborate as I would have liked. Elaborate pretty much meaning that all the other stuff like the whack a mole might have been important and come into play, all of the stuff might have been tweaked a bit too, and the 3rd stand might even have even come into play too. Thanks so much though, appreciate you playing it again!

Neat text adventure. Music fit well.

Fun little text adventure.

Good idea. The soundtrack is nice. Remembered me of the times I played Gamebooks.

The concept reminds me of the choose-your-own-adventure games of old. I feel like there might have been a deeper story behind the concept, but I was a bit lost mid way thru. I did hit 3 moles behind door 2, and I ended up offending a lot of people after shooting a teddy.

Interesting, trippy game!

Nice music and art too.
I was a little bit lost, didn't manage to go very far.
But I like the concept and the puzzle. I have probably missed something somewhere :)

Great job and great concept for the theme!

fun story and back music.

I won the game. It was a good puzzle :) I love these kinds of games. Choose an action and see what happens :)

Adding SFX to clicks or interactions could've been good.

Overall, I had fun and wanted to see what happens at the end :) Good job!

A fun and funny game. Well done.  I finished it but didn's do anything with the last stand - have I missed something?

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! TLDR: stuff happened - we didn't manage to finish content for said last stand, this why it gives you some vague description but no options to interact with.

This was a very interesting concept. It definitely threw come curveballs at me, I didn't know what to expect next. Well done on crafting this unique idea!

Hi! Really cool take on the theme!
I haven't played a text adventure in a long time and you reminded me how fun they can be when you let the story play out in your imagination.
Thanks for making this!

I like your take on the theme. Nice job!

I love text adventure games! It was a lot of fun exploring the carnival to try and figure out how to progress. I think it would greatly help if the choices to either whack or miss the mole are also mapped to the number keys :D Great work, everyone!

Interesting game idea and a nice approach of the last stand theme!
Definately nice work that resulted in a text adventure like game with pleasant controls! :-)

Fun game, the story is engaging even if it's not very long. Well done.

Submitted(+2)

Very interesting, took me a couple of seconds to get into the swing but after that was selecting my options like a man possessed :) Well done!

An interesting text adventure, certainly a different spin on the Last Stand theme :D
